If I could leave no stars I would. My appointment was for 10:30am with JERRY. (made this appointment a month in advance & spoke to him personally) I arrived at 10:25am, to find out Jerry was not there & apparently would be an hour late. Some of the staff told me Jerry would be there sooner. One of the staff members asked if I could show them a picture of what I wanted and if they could take a look at my hair. They then told me Jerry was on the way & would start parting it and wash it to prep it and Jerry would continue it. The lady Angie/ Andri (not sure), started doing my hair I was explaining to her what I wanted and didn’t want & explained that my front bang should be untouched due to it being my baby hair. There was a clear language barrier and she dismissed me. I allowed her to continue. She was being very rough & yanking my hair. It was now about 12pm & JERRY was still not there. Finally Jerry arrived by this time my hair was bright yellow. I asked him why he was so late & why he wasn’t the one working on my hair when I was recommended to him, made an appointment with him, & spoke to him about my hair. He expressed he teaches the staff & he’d give me great hair. My hair at this point was bright yellow, never seen my hair that yellow. I could’ve used box dye & had better results. I made it so clear I didn’t want my roots touched especially my bang area. However it was done anyways& I was told to close my eyes while it was being done, I obviously didn’t. At this point I’m very frustrated & fighting tears. My hair was ruined & it was 1pm, I walked in at 10:30am. I start expressing to Jerry I wanted him to do my hair, & not the woman doing it, I had only agreed to her starting it off because they told me Jerry would be there soon. Jerry expressed to me HE DOES NOT DO HAIR,HE TEACHES how to do hair. He expressed if he did everyone’s hair the line would be out the door. To which I was extremely confused because I made an appointment with him, spoke to him, he showed me all his work saying he would give me the hair we discussed. If I wanted a student doing my hair I would go to a professional beauty school & get it done for free. This is my natural hair that I take care of very carefully & trusted this “professional”. Jerry started doing my hair when he saw how upset I was & frustrated with my hair being fully bleached & yellow, a color I never in my life would want I don’t think anyone would. He then kept walking off for cigarette breaks & the lady continued to do my hair. After I calmly expressed multiple times I didn’t want anyone that wasn’t him doing my hair as she had already done enough damage. Jerry told me I could leave & come back the following day, after being there from 10:30am-3pm with just getting my hair burnt off & it being yellow now. I expressed to him I was not leaving with my hair in those conditions. For hours they claimed I had to just sit with the foil in my hair while he worked on plenty of other clients & took cigarette breaks & lunch breaks. I was offered a cigarette which I declined because I don’t smoke, but was never offered a food break or water after being there like I said since 10:30am and it was now 3pm. The lady now dyed my roots black, my roots where light brown/ dark blonde when I walked in. I never asked for black roots. There was now bleach on my dress, which they didn’t cover or take money off for, nor did they apologize for their lack of professionalism. At this point it’s 7:30pm when the dye is done & my hair is now black, yellow, grey, silver, purple and blue. Jerry starts trimming my ends & the lady let me know she was leaving. I expressed I had to grab cash to give her a tip, although no one in that “salon” who worked on my hair deserved a dime I still gave each a $20 tip. Jerry was calmly & carefully trimming my hair & out of nowhere started cutting random pieces of hair, I quickly asked him why and what he was doing. He was in clear rush to smoke a cigarette. He finished my hair by 8:40pm, 40min after the salon closed. I was there since they opened. He edits the pics also

Great experience, Second time coming here to have highlights, trim, blow out and conditioning. It was a wonderful experience. Everyone is so experienced in their own field here. I am very satisfied with my hair. It looks beautiful. Thank you Jerry for your experience always great choice of color.& Fanny for a great hair cut. (I'm sorry I don't know the woman's name who did my coloring). Very friendly and professional staff.

Jerry and his team did an amazing job with my hair. I went in not knowing if I wanted highlights or balayage. Jerry took his time to give me advice and also showed me pictures of what would look good. Angela did a great job with the balayage coloring with Jerry checking in often to see how everything was going. The guy ( I didn’t get his name) that cut and blow dryer my hair also did a great job. The service provided here was great. The price is also amazing and worth every bit. I will be going back soon and this will be my go to salon here in forward.

I had an incredible experience at Blowout Spot Crossbay, and I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for any type of hair service - cut, color or even a simple blow out. From the moment I came in with my inspiration photo, Jerry made recommendations about what he felt would be best for my hair and look best for me. I love going to this hair salon. I had my hair colored here recently, as well as a haircut . All the staff here are really nice and helped my hair come out amazing !! The price is great compared to other places. I had Jerry and he was the best. Jerry helped get my hair to what I wanted and I definitely recommend him if you ever visit! He made sure I was satisfied and I’m very happy of his work. I can’t wait to come back again :) would really recommend this place

Oh my gosh, let me just start by saying that I didn’t look up the price beforehand or even ask, I just showed up an hour before closing because it was by my house. So I’m sitting in the chair thinking, “they’re doing SUCH a good job, who knows how much this is going to cost me…” I mean I got a deep conditioning, a mini massage, a blow out, curls done, I was imagining the bill to come out high.. come to find out it was only $30!! And they did a fantastic job, my hair looked great even the next day. I tipped both the person who washed my hair, and the person who styled my hair. Great deal, please be sure to tip your stylists!
