Went to get an international driver's license for my vacation to Portugal and it took about 30 minutes from walking through the door to exiting. I didn't see that it was clearly stated on the website or application, but you don't have to bring photos since you can get them taken on site. Service was quick and friendly.

Super easy to find, in and out in under 10 minutes for an international driving permit (IDP) on a weekday morning. Having forms and pictures done early helps expedite it, but they also have it in store for $15 (non member cost), less if you’re a member, if you don’t have it in advance.

Very friendly and efficient staffs. I came in to apply for the international driving permit, they can take passport photo for you as well. You also get discount rate for basic insurance coverage. In less then 10 mins, I was out with my permit! Great experience!

I got in trouble in Manhattan. Water temperature went up in my car then I just pulled over and stopped the car, because was very overheated. I called AAA right away. City was crazy not just a hot day, big traffic everywhere. But the help arrived in 30 min and took us to the car repair where we use to take the car to Brooklyn! (I’m glad the problem was just a fan) Service was fast friendly and professional! I’m so happy and keep continue with AAA! I was lucky today my membership almost expired! Towing included so the service was free! But many other things included! Membership what I have it’s worth every penny for the full the year I paid $94 (there are cheaper package too ) it’s all up to you… Also you can get discount when traveling some hotels already did give great deal when they seen my card ! Always keep it in my wallet! International driving license $20 if you need one! Lots of benefits. Thanks AAA you are my AAAngel!

Very professional and helpful. In and out quickly too. Went to get an international driver's permit and I had a difficult time finding somewhere to get passport photos taken beforehand only to learn that they could have done it inhouse for $15. I highly recommend this place.

So easy and fast here. When I arrived on an weekday afternoon, only one other person was here. I’m not a member so $15 for passport photos is not bad. No need for appointments. Professional, clean and took only about 10 min for photos. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing! They were able to take my passport photos I needed for a travel visa, and give me my international driver's permit in 30 minutes. And they had me go to the bathroom and wipe down my face (it was 100 degrees that day, NYers know what I mean) so my photos looked nice. Would recommend 💯

Excellent service from pleasant representatives in a clean, well organized and bright environment. I was in and out of there in about 10 minutes. Easy breezy. Having said that, I think the whole IDP system is a scam that should be stopped or at the very least provided at a much lower cost.

I was in and out within five minutes for an international driving permit. Totally unexpected. Super efficient and friendly staff. I watched them take and process passport photos in less than half the time it takes a drugstore to do the same. I was told they offer standard DMV services too, so I plan to come back for those in the future.

I have never visited a DMV site that was so professional and respectful! I was in there less than five minutes. Ms. Ortiz was so kind, quick, and knowledgeable. The establishment was clean and everyone looked happy to be there. I'm am truly happy that I am a AAA member!

Really great experience here! We went on Saturday around 10:30 for international drivers licenses and we were in and out in 15 minutes. The staff are friendly and helpful and make the process very easy. No appointment needed for international licenses, though you can make them for other services.

So easy to get an Int’l driving permit. The staff member was kind, patient and courteous. I was out in less than 10 minutes. I wish the dmv was like this!

Seriously one of the most seamless and fastest service experiences ever. I went on a Saturday afternoon and my whole interaction took all of 15 minutes from handing in my IDP app to walking out with it in hand. The person who helped me was pleasant and clear in her instructions. I came with an application ready but you can fill one out there, and get your photo done for an extra $15. Lovely facility and staff!

In short, it’s amazing, seamless and a time saving experience. I went for my international permit and my motorcycle permit on Saturday afternoon and got out in less than 30 min where in dmv I would have to wait for 2 hours sometimes 3. I would come to this location whenever I need any DMV services. It’s amazing.

Great branch but super busy because everyone is trying to get their international license. Took me about 35 mins to get mine on a Saturday at 1pm. Great customer service, and very efficient, they took photos upfront to move the line. One customer snapped at a worker for telling her they close at 2pm but I thought the worker was pretty polite and nice about it. 🤷‍♀️ maybe come earlier next time.

We were seen right away and because we already had forms filled out and the required photos we were out of there within 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. Not a bad place to wait if you did need to take time to do something with DMV or whatnot. Very central location too.

The worst experience of my life. A whole winter night I have spent alone in my car far from my house because of these inept. Tonight while in Jersey City (NJ) one of the tires has flattened, I called the first time at 1:20 am and after waiting for more than an hour I called again and they told me they would arrive at 3: 30 a.m. At 3:30 am no one came to help me, so I called again and this time a rather rude advisor left me waiting for more than 30 minutes in line without giving me any help, I called again almost at 4:00 am and They told me that the service had been cancelled, which at no time was I informed. At that time I have programmed a new service which they told me would come to my aid before 5:30 in the morning, but after a few minutes I received a new call informing me that they could not come until after 8: 00 am and you would have to call again to request the service. This is absolutely unacceptable

If you are a AAA member?, then there is no need to go to the SLOW MOVING DMV department to renew your soon to be expired NYC license. Yes, AAA is serving anyone who needs to renew their license, and they will only take about 30 minutes to process it. You do need to bring in some proof of residence and ids.... like a passport, your Social Security card, recent home Bill's, like coned electric bill, or any recent proof of residence you might get by mail. If you are a veteran from the arm services? then bring your DD-214. And that should do, but always call them just incase they might want you make a n appointment or you might need other documents?.

They renovated the place and now no need to go upstair. Very efficient service for issuing international driving license.

Got stuck renewing my licence (apparently had to contact the DMV). Asked me to wait 1.5 hours, then promised to call back but never did. No idea what the issue was, DMV at 30th St renewed it fast and appointment was easy. This location has several seniors changing money. There's so many fees. Credit/debit cards are often no fee. Check the rate and fees.

Definitely very happy they pick me up . whomever picked up the order , I had to wait from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. they did let me know in advance it will take that long. and I had no choice to say okay. and the gentleman that pick up my car , was very alert very kind very gentleman very very respectful and very professional!.. Not his Fault for the 4 hrs wait! They should sent someone from NYC . not CT. I felt bad for him . he had to drive all the way from Bridgport to NYC😞and than a n back to ct😞.

Awesome! Very efficient and fast. 15 dollars for biometric pic (if you dont have one). Went there for my international drivers permit. It’s valid for a year after the date they put on the cover. Note: you have to carry your drivers license around together with the intl permit

I've been here once to get an IDP and it was a really smooth and professional process. As long as you have a driver's license they can do the rest. I think it's $15 to get the two passport sized photos + the application fee.

The fact that you can accomplish DMV activities here without going to the actual DMV is worth the annual membership fees for sure!
