We been there today on electric scooters from our hotel. We rented 2 scooters for myself and my friend. We thought we won't make it till the top because the road was steep uphill. But fortunately me made it and the view from the top of fort is fantastic. We stay there for a while just to thank god for giving us such a beautiful nature.

One of my favorite spots in Nice. I usually walk up but there's also parking. The views are beautiful. A nice place to bring a sandwich and look out over Villefranche and Cap Ferrat. And there are lots of walking trails.

Came up here as it is close to Elton John's home in the Cote D'Azur which my wife wanted to see. There are some amazing views of Nice and the surrounding area from here. It's great that the building survived even though the castle closer to the Port was destroyed by the French. The walk up through the forest is lovely with great views across both the Bay and the city. I realise that you can take a bus but it's so much more fulfilling to actually make the climb yourself. Definitely worth it.

Take the Uber up (if you stay at city centre) and the bus down (no.33), that’s what I recommend. Impeccable view up there. Good for a half day trip.

Great hike up to the fort. It is closed but the view is spectacular. You can see Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in its entirety as well as Villefranche. Worth seeing if you're in the area

The hike up through the town and then the forest with a view is great and not too heavy for healthy people. It is also accessible by car. The Fort is closed but the panorama is worth it.

Worth to visit this historical site!! Very interesting guided tour! Wonderful and breathtaking panoramic view over Nice and Villefranche sur mer! The walk from Nice city up to the Fort is very physical but worth the effort! Great location!

Offers an impressive vista, as well as a really cool old castle-like fort. The only downside is not being able to go inside... but definitely worth the hike up the hill to see it.

We took the 33 bus up most of the hill. A bit of a climb after getting off bus but enjoyable walk. We visited 3 historical sites and walked around the park. Picnic tables under trees for lunch. Then walked down hill to Le San Lucas bar for a casual reviving drink.

Great place to see the city. Unfortunately, it is closed to get into the building. Also, if you want to see the sunset is great, but you need to be careful, since the last bus passes by 7.40-7.50. So keep that in mind. Also the views that it offers you to both sides are great! It is a place that worth to visit.

I love going here. The view is spectacular! My family walks there from Villefranche-sur-mer. We have probably been there 15 times and enjoy each and every time!

Cool to see from the outside, excellent view of the surrounding city and landscape. Little bit far of a walk from the bus stop but not too steep.

Great dog run. Great views over Nice and St Jean Cap Ferrat. Elton has a house up here too.

The view is amazing from there. Little tips : on Nice side, follow the path a bit futher than the fort to have one of the best view on Nice.

We walked up from the Port in Nice. Is a good walk (mostly up hill). View from the top is awesome as you get to see further up and down the coast. You’ve earned your treats by getting this walk in!

Cool place with a great view upon Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat below.

Beautiful view that you can get to in less than 2 hours from the airport. Assuming you’ve taken the tram in and are walking the rest. I walked from Jean médecin since the remaining tram stops were closed due to bad weather. All trails app has a nice coastal path plus Mont Alban route you can follow. I’d recommend that. I did it the opposite way to make sure to catch the view before sundown. Definitely a more difficult trek up but I enjoyed it.

Impressive fortress up on the Mount Boron. Unfortunately entrance of the fortress is prohibited but one can still roam around it and enjoy the breathtaking view

The fort looks nice. Didn't have chance to get inside, it was closed. The view from the hill is worth walking up.

I visited this place and nothing was really wrong. There was a amazing view from the top, on One side you had “VilleFrance-sur-mer” and on the other side you had “Nice”

Beautiful scenic hike. Amazing views of Nice and some history to go with it

Wonderful view. The doors of the ruin are closed. On a hit das there is always a nice wind to cool down.

The fort in itself is nothing spectacular, but that's exactly the adjective to use to describe the view from Mont Boron! The view over the whole Cap Ferrat bay area is just beautiful! If come up the hill from the side facing Nice you'll also get a splendid view over the Eastern part of the city, behind the port and then the rest of the capital of the Riviera, with the Promenade stretching along the shoreline. You won't regret the short hike up from the city.

A striking structure sitting prominently on top of the hill within the Parc du Mont Boron. Unfortunately, when I wandered from Nice to visit, it was all shut. I believe it might be possible to enter at times, but am unsure of when that is or how much it cost. So it's hard to fully understand the nature and history of the building from simply staring at it from the outside.
