Amazing free museum it is very small only 20 to 30 minutes to go around over 3 floors. Well worth it if you are in the area. Only down side the descriptions are only in French no other translations. It is worth spending time here combined with the garden and park.

It is a small but very unique museum (on different aspects). The location (attached to Parc Phoenix), the building itself (surrounded by water & incorporated there nicely) and the history it tells. Just having in mind how big Asia is and what long history it went through - not too many items are there. The exposition is well presented. But number of items could be much bigger having in mind the rich history of that region. Anyway, it was free entrance (July 2023), so no regrets.

The Museum of Asia in Nice presents a collection of models of clothing and jewelry from Yves Saint Laurent. The collection shows uniqueness and beauty. Presents sketches of fashionable clothes, photos. This is important look his collection. Visit, recommend.

It was a good experience, one that I really did not expect as much Indian art. Which is a good surprise. Overall the museum is simplistic in nature with very clean lines and three floors of art. Free with entry to the Park Phoenix.

Nice museum, interesting stuff to see about asian culture. Even if it's small, it's well organized and worth visiting. Suggestion: english explanations would be useful. Entrance was free.

Free to enter. Small, but interesting selection of objects and some charming modern prints. No English explanations. Delightful view of pond. Small Japanese style tearoom and giftshop with limited but interesting range of items.

Small free museum at Parc Phoenix, with beautiful exteriors for sightseeing. There are several interesting artifacts dated to even 1000BC from nations all around Asia. There’s an exhibition about Japanese Tattoo history ongoing. There’s also a collaboration with Season Lao to showcase his works in all rooms from the museum. If you like Guimet museum in Paris. This is a free and smaller version of it :) A note: the museum entrance is not inside Parc Phoenix, but rather just next to the park’s entrance. It is separate from the park, so make sure visit them separately, as Parc Phoenix is charged.

Impressive! I was n't aware it was designed by the great master Kenzo Tange. Unfortunately the upper floor was temporarily closed. The lake can be visited also from a separate entrance next to the museum

This is a must see museum. And entrance is free! The regularly changing exhibitions are top quality international art level. The permanent displays beautifully curated and positioned. Positioned close to the airport the buses go right up to it. The gift shop is awesome

The architecture is amazing, the quietness of the space added to enjoyment of the exhibition. The history tattoo history exhibition of Japan was amazing to see😍. The permanent exhibition could be better but it was something new and different. The fish in the water such a good site and the rooftop view of the museum is a killer.

Before you visit know this, they have lockers but doesn't let you use them to store even a small bag. And they wont let you in with a bag. Very interesting move from a museum located next to an airport.

Be aware that you can't enter with a cabin sized luggage or if you have any kind of large bags with you. I was denied entry because I had my bags with me. They are right next to an airport and don't even offer a luggage storage service so tourists could see the museum? The customer service personnel was once again rude and refused to speak English. Why to work in tourism and much less at a museum if you can't speak any other languages but French? This museum is not worth the time.

Small gem of a museum that’s too often overlooked as it’s “on the way to” (airport / Cannes / motorway). Very well selected exhibits which are highly useful for the pedagogy of Asian art. Often have fascinating exhibitions.

Cozy little exhibition, it took us about 30 minutes to walk through it. The entrance is free, and the only downside is that it is in French only.

nice place, not so big exhibition, very clear and good conditions of the space. You will feel in this museum like a Buddha. 100 percents recommended for visit.

The Jade Exposition is amazing, some delicate fragile jades from 2000 years before, but they are in such a good state with natural color and well crafted! It is very nice to visit :)

It is a nice museum. Beautiful exhibits at no entrance fee. But it promises a bit more than it actually has. It is fairly small and there is fairly little background information on any of the exhibits. Also there are no english translations for the french texts. While I'd say this is no requirement, since it's a french museum after all, it would be a nice addition. Even with some level of french, reading descriptions on asian history is a different level than understanding everyday phrases
