Great place to relax. A big outdoor garden, pretty well taken care. There are no indoor premises or a terrace where you can find something to drink and that can be a minus. The plants are well labeled and you can see almost 3000 species. Admission is free.

A beautiful garden with almost no one there, just stroll around, it’s huge.

It is saddening to see all of the countries that have contributed plants & expertise to the Nice Jardin Botanique and that there is very little attention to maintain the gardens nor manage the survival of the multitude of plant sorts from every corner of the world. Highlight seems to be the child's playground which was well used by children during our visit. The City of Nice needs desperately to take action and set up a project to get the gardens and plants in top condition, even if it requires reaching out to the countries where the plants are located to obtain support. A second visit will unfortunately be valued on my part.

Nice and quiet place. Relatively small, but a lot of interesting: huge flower collections, many landscape decorations. They reproduce not only the Mediterranean (Greece, Spain with the Canary islands), but also many plants around the world: Mexico, South Africa, California.

The place probably needs a little sprucing up but it's definitely worth a visit: peaceful and a really interesting showcase of exotic plants. Free entrance and free parking so it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Beautifully planted with bushes, flowers and trees from various regions in the world. A great place to relax with your family without dogs.

Great park, but please be careful about closing time, because they don't check if there are still visitors inside and sometimes there's people stuck in the botanic garden with the gates closed.

Pieni julkinen puutarha, johon ei ole pääsymaksua. Paikalle pääsee kätevästi bussilla suoraan sisäänkäynnille.

A short bus ride up to the gardens, a lovely walk round and also a cafe and shop a few minutes walk away, turn left outside gardens walk, say 25 - 50 yards, cross over and take a short walk down the steep little road on other side. The cafe is just round the bend

A delightful free park in the north of the city. As a keen gardener this was an utter delight. Word of warning though, do use bug spray or cover arms and legs because there were bitey and buzzy things.

Great place for gardners and for those who like somewhere tranquil away from the city buzz. Lots of points of interest with different gardens representing different countries and climates.

As mentioned by another person, this garden is sorely in need of maintenance. It’s a crime really to have such beautiful plants, in a well laid out space, die or be struggling due to a lack of attention. I cannot recommend going until I know this place has been spruced up.

What a wonderful attraction....and it's free ! Perched on a hill above Nice overlooking the Promenade and with views towards Antibes this is an oasis of calm in a bustling city. I came across it accidentally when I was walking back to my hotel from the Allianz Riviera Stadium so it was a bit of a slog up the hill but well worth it. There all kinds of plants, shrubs, cacti and flowers thriving in the Mediterranean sunshine.Paths wind there way up the hillside and at various levels there are benches to sit on and just admire the fauna whilst enjoying a snack. If you don't fancy the walk I'm sure there are buses that link it to the centre of Nice.

Quiet place in the urban part of Nice. The garden is small but with interesting plants, we want in end of Feb so missed the blossoms, I bet it is lovely. There is no fee to visit this place, but it is the only thing to do in the area, not even a lot of places to eat here.

Ok for half hour IF you are already in the area. Not worth the special trip we took. Good play area for 3-7 year olds

Nice gardens, with good selection of plants. Good price and location. Could have been bigger but it was nice spent day

Nice and quiet place to spend an hour. Very interesting even if it needs to be renewed a little

Rather disappointing to be honest. The park desperately needs some investment, the paths are cracking, plants are overgrown and weeds are taking over. You can tell that a few years back it was probably a lovely place to visit, there are some lovely plants many of which still have the nameplates for identification purposes. I did spot a couple of brave souls working there, but It would need an army of workers to bring it back to its former glory. It is free admission and parking, so worth a visit if you're in the area, just don't expect too much!
