The building blends with the modernity of the others but its style does not distort the street and the square, quite the contrary. The color of the building clearly shows us that we are on the French Riviera, a typical color that you will find on many houses in the Nice hinterland. I couldn't see the inside unfortunately.

A building inseparable from houses! The chapel of the Holy Sepulcher in Nice was built between 1782 and 1797, together with the entire Piazza del Garibaldi. The peculiarity of the chapel is that it stands out from neighboring houses only by the monumentality of its facade. Featuring a triangular pediment and ancient columns, the entire building is in Baroque style. Rarely opened, it contains a painting by Van Loo, a famous Dutch artist born in Nice.

The chapel has two rare characteristics: on the one hand, it is located on the first floor of the building; on the other hand, it is dominated by a small triangular bell tower.

Not much to see here. The “Old look” on the buildings around is only painted on the buildings. This is very interesting.

The chapel of the Holy Sepulcher, in baroque/classical style, is located on the 1st floor of a building overlooking Place Garibaldi. It is the place of prayer of the blue penitents.
