Owner PJ gone will miss this place. Will miss his family. So sad. Best of luck to the Oconnor family on their next endeavor!

You know those places that just instantly feel like home? Celtic is that place. The owner is the sweetest man that somehow remembers everyone’s name. The staff is attentive and friendly. The music is fantastic! It’s my go to place, and I’d truly pick it over any other bar in Chicago any day of the week

My husband and I visited this bar on a trip to Chicago. Since we live in LA, it was quite fun to enjoy the fall scenery and walk down the streets of Chicago. I found this bar while looking for a bar near the hotel, and I was surprised by how friendly the people were. It was nice to be able to have a quick chat with the bartender and regular customers while drinking a few Guinness beers. It is located not far from the lake. Accessibility seems to be pretty good.

Really nice bartenders. Tavern Pizza was good but it's the only food there is as far as I know. Great place overall

This is the best pour of Guinness I’ve ever had. We are visiting Chicago from Texas and visited multiple bars, even the Guinness brewery. We can confidently say this is hands down the best Guinness and atmosphere by far from any other place we have tried. If you are in the area definitely give this bar a try - you won’t regret it.

Been a regular since the pub reopened. It is a great place for a quiet drink during the week, my husband and I are always in. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere not over-done. 10 of 10 I always bring friends and family here from out of town.

Wonderful bar with wonderful people. Electric scenery. Outstanding ambiance and captivating music. Best bartender service in the city of Chicago. I refuse to have my Guinness stouts poured by anybody that is not associated with Celtic Crossings. The Irish vibes in this place make you want to learn Gaelic just so you can tell the bartender who poured up your drink you love them in a second language, and then order a second and possibly even third Irish car bomb in the proper Irish way. Think of this place like the Michael Jordan of Irish pubs, except this time he never retires and ends up winning 8 straight. Then after he wins 8 straight, he retires for one more additional year to return to baseball (except this time he’s actually good and wins the World Series in 6 games, Jordan never goes to 7), before ultimately making his long anticipated return to the NBA in pursuit of his 9th and final championship. Now, put that into the perspective of an Irish pub. Yeah, that’s the standard this place holds. 10/10
