What a little gem! I love how pretty much every city in the province has beautiful parks that are emaculately maintained. This garden has a waterfall that we unfortunately could not see due to being under maintenance but even then it's a beautiful site. Incredibly relaxing to wander through the garden and you can veer off into the adjacent parks for a longer visit. The parking is 2.50 per hour, which is very reasonable. Recommend downloading the app (the signs are posted by the parking meters). Because its such a scenic and peaceful spot, you are unlikely to leave in under an hour so highly recommend getting 2+ hours worth of time. I will be visiting as soon as the colours change to see it in fall!

Beautiful garden (I believe the program building is called Toronto Botanical Gardens). It is a short walk/hike in the middle of the city. They take good care of their grounds. You can bring your own food and have a picnic here too because the grounds are not limited to the garden area. There are public bathrooms available, as well as a cafeteria area. Easily accessible by transit (Lawrence/Leslie) and there is reasonable parking.

Free admission. Parking though is not free. Lots of parking space. There's public washroom. There's a cafe at the innermost part of the park. Since it's fall season the colors are everywhere. There's lot of people taking photoshoot in this park. It's a really nice park and not that crowded. Trail is very light and suitable for all ages. Been here twice and there's lot of changes with the trail maybe because it depends on the season. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful park.

Edward's Garden is one of the 17 themed gardens in a 4 acre area that houses the Toronto Botanical Garden. Collectively, all the gardens make the botanical garden an extremely beautiful and must see tourist destination in Toronto. There are plenty of sitting arrangements all throughout the gardens and many winding, scenic trails to have a walk in the prepossessing natural place. The enormous parking areas has enough spots to park the visitors' vehicles at a very reasonable charge which is nothing compared to what the gardens have to offer.

This place is beautiful when it blossoms. But currently there is nothing to see. You can go for a walk like any other park. I visited today on May 7, 2022. Paid parking $2.50/hour.

Beautiful place. Easy to get lost amongst all the trails. There's a nice small creek running through it. Parking is $2.50 and don't forget to stop at their Bloom Cafe located inside the park and grab a hot/cold drink for your walk.

We've visited Edwards Gardens many times over the years, but how beautiful it is never gets old! I personally love seeing the big willow trees on the property; somehow they seem to make things feel more calm and peaceful. The flowers planted throughout the gardens are obviously pretty too, and the lawns are nicely manicured all the time. Benches are dotted across the many paths and in different areas of the gardens, and there are plenty of spots to set up a picnic blanket. The trees and gazebos also allow for shade on hot, sunny days. I believe the garden cafe (open between spring and fall) offers drinks, baked goods, and gifts, with outdoor seating in the courtyard. Washrooms are also available at the cafe. Parking is paid, but proceeds go towards maintaining the gardens.

It's been literally years since I visited. Still lots of walk ways with beautiful flowers & natural foliage. There's a stream which meanders through the gardens with a small waterfall. There's a coffee shop with outside tables where we had coffee & muffins😊👍

Beautiful place for a spring short hike. There is a small cafe there. I highly recommend their banana bread. Some parts of the park are closed due to construction but still beautiful and worth the time. My photoes were taken in spring.

It’s a nice small well maintained park behind the Bridle Path with a decent amount of paid parking. The trails are a bit longer. You do see a lot of people coming here to take photos for special occasions.

Beautiful botanical garden. Nice designed. Very good place for all ages. The seniors and kids will enjoy for sure. Every time I went there I saw brides and grooms there for photography. There is a shopping centre and cafeteria( good prices) there. Parking is big and lots of spots. The parking fee is 3$ per hour. Easy to take bus if you prefer public transport. Washrooms are clean also. Bbq and ( bicycle in some parts) are not permitted.

This park was nice though. It has a huge green roof with a few tiny wooden posts that have nice views of the pond that were built for a lake. So cool that we came across them on their way to the aquarium after I got back from the event.

It's a nice relaxing green space in the Toronto/Northyork area. It has some food options like the Garden Cafe. There are benches and areas to hang out all over the garden are, and there are an abundance of paths and trails to walk on. To park there is only $2.50 per hour. They have many different types of plants and even offer brief descriptions for some of them. It's a really pretty place and great for a date or to relax for a few hours. Lots of butterflies and pleasant smells!

Great little outdoor garden for the public. Good use of tax dollars, little taste of the gardens in Paris even though it's very small. Leads to a nice walking trail. Parking is 2.50$ per hour

Edwards Gardens is undoubtedly one of the best gardens in the city of Toronto, and being home to the Toronto Botanical Garden makes it even more special. The landscape here is absolutely stunning, with a diverse collection of plants and flowers that create a picturesque setting. I highly recommend a visit to experience the natural beauty and tranquility this place offers.

Wedding parties and photographers are what I remember most about Edwards Gardens. It’s been a really long time here and I love the upgrades and upkeep and care this place has gotten! So many places to take amazing photos and walk around. This place is an oasis in the city and connected to the downtown bike paths. Stay for an 1hr or 2hr if you’re walking. Longer if you’re biking since you can catch a lot got the bike trails. Make sure you check in advance if there’s some concert series to enjoy too. Bring a picnic basket and a blanket and just enjoy the grounds. If you liked the Niagara’s Botanical Gardens, come see here too (albeit smaller).

The place is easily accessible with plenty of parking lots. I went on a Sunday and the parking costed 2.5$ per hour. Be ready to walk around a lot. The maintenance is perfect and there are plenty of beautiful places. There are many beautiful flowers, large trees, lush green lawns and plenty of benches to sit and relax. Lot of people where doing all kinds of photo shoots here. Plenty of natural sceneries. The restrooms are nice and clean. There is a bloom cafe inside. But I didn’t buy anything here. I just wish the parking was cheaper or free. Definite recommend to visit here.

Spring blooms! As they say, April showers bring May flowers. Lots of blooms and great photo opportunities. Very busy with people and paid parking is limited. Enjoy the beauty and let others enjoy it too, so don't pick the flowers.

Beautiful garden having numerous scenic spots. We went there for see the fall colors but sadly it started raining once we reached there but still the view was breathtaking. The park has mini trails and cycling path to enjoy. It also has a mini waterfall with ducks. A perfect place for mini picnics in the lap of nature. No entrance fee, only parking fee or $2.5/ hour.

I didn't get to walk the whole pathway but for what I was able to see it's really nice and beautiful. I entered closer to the garden area. They have side parking near it but I realized from the map inside the Garden, they have a designated parking area also. Lots of beautiful trees, benches, and a nice pathway to walk on. Saw squirrels and Canadian Geese as well. This place restricts bike riding and walking dogs/pets. They have other restricts as well so just be mindful of that if you're looking to do so.

Edward’s gardens is one of the most beautiful places in Toronto located in North York on the corner of Leslie and Lawrence. It features a botanical garden, a venue for events, a coffee shop that operates in summer and a beautiful walking trail across the East Don River that stretches south and connects Edward’s gardens to Wilkes Creek park. In summer, Edward’s gardens is full of gorgeous photos and beautiful plants and is a great place to visit. You can enjoy the flowers and the botanical garden, or you can grab a drink and a cake and enjoy the outdoor seating or you can walk across the river in the trail. There are many things you’ll love about this place. The nature, the flowers, the trail, the benches and their memorial plaques, the sky and tall trees and the birds! Weather you’re looking for a nice place to walk, or a beautiful park to bring your lunch, or you wanna catchup with a friend and enjoy a summer afternoon in a beautiful scenery, Edward Gardens will be one of the best places to be!

A great garden for a relaxing stroll. I especially like it when the tulips are out in the spring season. I would suggest to check out their website to see if there is any event happening. There is paid parking on site (2$/hour) and a bus stop just in front which makes it convenient to access.

It’s a gorgeous medium sized botanical garden. 1-2 hours are enough to explore the whole park. Hikes are decent and not at all challenging, which makes it a good spot for kids to enjoy. I would definitely recommend to visit if you wanna relax, have a picnic, explore plants and flowers or just want to be in nature. There was a fresh aroma in the air which was so refreshing. I would not recommend this place if you wish to explore cherry blossom, I could only find a few. You might get lucky if you visit at a better time than I did. Although there is no fee for garden tour, parking is paid. So be prepared to pay a few dollars for parking.

Beautiful garden spread across a vast expanse. You would feel you're far away from the city. The trail running across a stream of water is amazing especially during autumn season and winter season. During autumn you can experience the amazing fall colours and in winters it's like a winter wonderland. The garden shares common parking with the Toronto Botanical Garden and has lots of spots available most of the time...the entry is free to the Edwards Garden .

Very nice park, especially beautiful in fall. It can be busy on the weekends/holidays and be prepared to walk up the hill quite a bit. The parking is $2.5/hour bit it is worth it. Recommended for if you're looking for not too challenging hike in the city.

Fantastic park with acres of green spaces, drinking fountains, Cafe on site, and grill for those who love to picnic outdoors. Plenty of parking spots which always comes in handy, bike and walking trails. We love to visit every summer and enjoy nature at its best. This is also the spot of choice for newlyweds to take pictures of their special day. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind, be in touch with nature or simply exercise this may very well be the last place you'll have to search for. Simply fantastic ! 💥💕👍🎉

Not as good as before, fall colors still didn't mature, maybe for Covid they gave less effort in taking care, but still I enjoyed the place

This place is great, it's a good and easy walk make sure to use proper shoes if going into the bike trails. The trails themselves are not clearly marked but most of it is pretty obvious and it's very well maintained. The parking is paid per hour (2.5 at the moment) the machines were not functional but the app was really easy to use.

Edwards Gardens is one of the most beautiful parks and green space in Toronto. We visited in August 2020. Nice Gardens with trees and so many birds and kids playing in the park. I hope to see more places like this around the city and others as well. It is a beautiful park and one of the nicest in the city. There is a lot of pathways to walk around. Although you need to pay for parking and there is parking for cars to visit. A highly recommend.

I recently had the opportunity to visit this incredibly beautiful park and I must say, it's an absolute paradise for families, especially those with children. Its pristine beauty seamlessly blends with a safe, playful environment that will captivate kids for hours. The array of amenities, from clean, well-maintained playgrounds to the lush, wide-open spaces for picnics or simply running around, makes it the perfect spot for any family outing. Every corner of the park is carefully designed to promote a sense of joy and relaxation. Highly recommended for a day out with the family!

I really really like this garden!! I enjoy the walk in the garden with lots of colorful flowers and all the greeneries!! But there is one thing I want to suggest, it’s about the wisteria. The wisteria are planted all separately, so it looks like very thin layer and very less. I wish they can make a wisteria walkway/ tunnel, just like those we always seen from Japan’s garden. That would be fantastic!! More visitors would come to check in and take photos!!

  • 4/5 Mac Peters (. 10 months ago on Google
It's been about 10 years since I last visited this park. I still appreciate seeing all the plants from different places, but I do wish they took more of an opportunity to encourage people to learn about native species which are also very beautiful. And while it looks like some effort is made to grow native plants around the grounds, I did also see a lot of invasive plants. Still enjoyed the day. It was fairly busy, but with enough room to mostly keep away from crowds. Bathroom was clean and stocked.
