Amazing food options!! One of the better buffets in Toronto!! Much better than Mandarin!! Quality could be better though!! The restaurant does offer you good value for your money as they offer delicacies such as Peking duck and lobster which are rare to find in all you can eat locations. A must visit place to check it off your bucket list.

Nice Chinese Buffet overall. Have plenty of options to choose from and lots of seating which works well for large family gatherings or parties. March 2022 Update: Star rating just went down from a 4 to a 3 from a recent visit as the price is quite high now and isn’t justified for the quality of food you’re getting. You’re much better off going to a Chinese a la carte restaurant now as you will get much better food made fresh to order for cheaper. Not much of a good value here anymore unfortunately.

Went there for lunch buffet with family. Was very busy and packed. Staff was nice and found seating right away. Selection of food was decent with lots of options. Decent salad and soup selections including shrimp salad and a fruit salad which I loved. Salmon, peking duck, seafood mix were amazing and must try. Live steak and sushi section were also good. Note that they only serve lobster at dinner which was a bummer. Has a huge dessert selection including lots of cakes, pudding, ice cream, fruits etc. One thing I loved that they do not repeat items like a lot of other buffet. Quality was good as well and they kept refilling items. Servers were friendly and helpful. But they know limited English so it might be hard to communicate for some. Lastly the decoration was very lovely. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely return.

I'm Chinese and I enjoy this place just as much as I enjoy all-you-can-eat Japanese food. When I crave AYCE and Asian food, this is my favourite place in Toronto so far. They have two locations technically, Dragon Pearl and Dragon Legend (and I think its the same chain). Dragon Pearl is situated in a plaza with abundant parking. I would recommend making a reservation whether it's COVID dine-in or not. The place is big but it's very popular too. They have a great selection of food. It's not the most vast but enough for you to pick favourites and go for seconds. They have a salad and appetizer bar, desserts bar including Tofu pudding and ice cream plus the cones, their famous Peking duck station, sushi and sashimi, meat station, fried food and a variety of Chinese dishes spicy and non-spicy. I always fill myself with too much food! The service (recent experience) is great. The staff were very welcoming, they were diligent in clearing our plates after each finished round and to refill our waters.

I really like this buffet. The atmosphere is always great. The staff here have been wonderful and are very attentive. The food is delicious, however I think it was way better pre COVID. Their COVID precautions are on point. They scan your vaccine passport prior to being seated. They give you gloves to wear while getting your food. They have multiple boxes of fresh gloves for you to use when you need it. Everyone is required to wear their mask and use the gloves in the buffet area. The whole process made me feel safe and comfortable. They are a bit on the pricey side, but they do have a great selection of food and dessert options. I love the Peking duck here. By far my favourite menu item. If you are driving here, the parking at the front of the restaurant is limited, however if you drive further in, you’ll see more parking spots available at the back of the plaza.

We had a great experience and food at Dragon Pearl for my son's birthday. Lots of shrimp and seafood. Loved the Peking duck although some pieces were a bit dry. Tons of sashimi and variety. Pretty authentic Chinese cuisine compared to Mandarin. Would highly recommend!

The place is massive. Has a nice decor. Tons of food. Had the most unexpected food options like Pizza and Garlic bread. We had a Reservation for 5.30 pm. Some of the food was cold initially maybe as there were less people for the buffet. Has some vegetarian options.

There’s a price update for this place, I had shared the photo. So why 3 star? The only reason is being expensive (it’s a personal perspective). It’s been my second visit. And it was 152$ for 3 person which is super expensive compare to mandarin. The buffet itself is very massive. I wouldn’t say each and every dish is perfect but seafoods are a must try if you are heading to this place. They have increased there price since my last visit. I think they have to step a bit more to justify the price they are putting on. Because mandarin (I believe they would be there competitor). They offer almost the same kind of buffet with a little affordable price. What’s your intake on it guys?

Food: 3/5 Service: 2.5/5 Atmosphere: 2/5 Food is okay. It's like any other AYCE; quantity, not quality; Service was weak but I don't think the staff was at fault. Staff was constantly bombarded with customers and complaints. I felt bad for them. I wasn't even mad when they forgot my drink order. Management needs to step up; Atmosphere needs improvement. Too crowded and fair amount upset customers made an uncomfortable dinning experience. The website was advertised as a traditional and luxurious experience, but my experience at Dragon Pearl made me feel like I was at a Walmart; Oh, and if the owner is reading this, please update your website. You shouldn't advertise that the crab legs are a "Weekend Special" when the crab legs only available on Sundays. I witnessed a grown woman get visibly upset when she discovered the same. One of your waiters had to offer her free lobster or something to calm her down. It made for a very uncomfortable dinning experience and I am still suffering from second-hand cringe from witnessing it. Also, pro-tip; updating your website is cheaper than handing out a free lobster anytime someone complains about crab legs.

There was a good selection of Chinese foods, and they all tasted quite fresh. I especially liked the sushi section, since there was a lot of nice sushi and it seemed to be restocked very quickly. I haven’t been here since before the pandemic, and they seem to have added a few new items. In terms of service, it was far, far, far worse than I remember. There used to be a team of hostesses who were in charge of promptly bringing customers to their tables (and they were always friendly and efficient). However, there were no hostesses so my party and I had to wait around 10 minutes for the manager (who seemed busy behind the bar counter doing something else simultaneously) to bring us to the table. It seems she’s the only one in charge of bringing customers to their tables. The hostesses seem to be gone and there are a lot less servers now. I remember the old manager was a lovely and friendly man, I miss his jokes. The decor of the restaurant is spectacular as usual, but since I went during March Break the place was overrun by children running amok. It was difficult to navigate the buffet area without spilling anything, and I had to refrain from getting ice cream since there was a group of children basically vandalizing it. Would not recommend going during March break if you want to enjoy your meal in peace.

Visited them for dinner, one of the better all you can eat buffets in the city. Foods are pretty fresh and tasty. $53 per/person after tax. They give you a coupon for lobster which gives you half of a lobster which is a good deal. The desserts were very tasty, the fruits weren’t super fresh and kinda tasteless. The staff were on top of cleaning and refilling the water, and friendly. We didn’t have to wait in line that long to get in, but I’d recommend to reserve a table a head of time. My main complaint would be there was that many variety of food, after one serving we already tried most of everything, we felt like there could be more options, specially in the sushi section. It was very basic sushi selection.

“Dragon Pearl is a culinary gem that has been a go-to for me for the past 8 years. This buffet restaurant perfectly embodies Canada’s rich diversity, skillfully blending Japanese, Thai, and Chinese cuisines with a touch of Canadian warmth. The medieval-themed ambiance adds an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. The freshness of the food is evident across various sections including salads, fruits, BBQs, soups, sushi, and delightful ice cream. It’s a place for everyone, catering to diverse palates with top-notch customer service. Highly recommended for a cozy and flavorsome dining experience.”

I really like this place and food except that it is way expensive for a holiday meal. We went as a group of 8 and ended up 70$ per person including taxes and gratitude. They had good choices of main course and sushi. Liked the desserts variety. It would have been fun if they had fondue as well. But overall great place to dine with kids. The items worth a try in the buffet are the spicy roasted crab, pork and egg fried rice, crisp shrimp coconut jelly, green tea cake and garlic beans fried. Many are fancy about the crab legs but I find it very salty. Choices of drinks are good. Pina colada cocktail is good.

First time being with my family was really good. The place is spacious, lots of selection from grilled meat, noodles, rice, seafood and desserts. My tip is to take a small portion, try it out first instead of piling it on your first plate. It will differentiate the flavours from each other.

Probably one of the best Chinese buffet restaurants in GTA! The restaurant is stylish, spacious and clean with beautiful authentic Chinese decor. Lots of food varieties and good quality. My favorite is the lobster, oyster and Beijing duck. Very friendly customer service. Overall a great experience and would definitely return and recommend.

Great Seafood buffet. I came on Monday night when they have oysters. There are plenty of selections for seafood. I like the raw oysters, sushi, tofu pudding(豆腐花)and Beijing ducks. They refill the water and beverage fast. Pepsi costs $3.5. Spent about $60 including tax and tips. Worth the money!

We were in this buffet many times and we invited our friends to there as well. Every time we had a very good experience. Foods and desserts are always fresh and services are always exceptionally acceptable. They are always ready to serve customers and fill the items plates. They make a fresh noodle there and soup are highly recommended. They offered fresh fruits and cakes that is a good idea to try with tea. If you are a fan of sea foods , you can find many items to pick or if you prefer to try steak or fries , you can find it either. Items variety is one of the good things about this place. Affordable prices are one of the main reasons people try to go there and If you want to spend less you can go in week days.

I had to make sense with respect to my rating system everything was fantastic and they are still true to their level of service and quality of food regarding freshness. I highly recommend the sushi sashimi and seafood though in my humble opinion I find the hot foods quite standard fair nevertheless still good eats and variety the dessert is a little bit lacking in terms of variety again in my opinion But the service level with the staff is leaps and bounds above a lot of other buffet themed restaurants and they are always on their A game if you will my only reduction in the stars given is I wish they kept their big screen on which displayed a history of China which was quite informative if not educational for the uninitiated And was also good accompaniment to dining... It's a tad pricier than the typical buffet, though still highly recommended

This is a very solid Chinese/Asian buffet location. Excellent service — kept filling up my water glass and removing dishes. Good is standard but they do it all very well. During holidays they had half lobster. Also lots of seafood available like seafood boil. Would recommend.

Nice place to have buffet in North York! The food is good, lots of variety from seafood, meat, rice, salad, noodles to pizza, desert, … The price is fair. Service is okay, you have to ask them couples of time for drink and stuff. Overall is okay, worth a try!

Another all you can eat place . We went there on the weekend and the rush was really crazy. Better to pre book and go. There was a lot of varieties of food available. Mostly Asian fusion cuisine. Nothing really outstanding. The price is the only reason people are coming here. The food quality is just ok but there is a lot of room for improvement. Lots of protein is available. Peking Duck was the main attraction. Separate station is available for sushi lovers. Breakfast station is also separate and they had Bacon /Beef Steak and etc. The place is very spacious and the Ambiance is nice. The service is prompt. Happy Eating!

We went here for dinner and every 2 adult you get 1 kid free! Dinner had a lot of seafood including half lobster (ticket required) for each adult! The Peking duck was a hit as well. Not too much selection for kids and the quality of the kids food is sub par. Hopefully they can improve in the future!

We celebrated our anniversary with a $26 lunch buffet, which is a decent price. Some of the food was good, but honestly, the noodles needed salt, and I noticed a delay in serving drinks. However, we loved the dessert as they have a lot of variety!

I went here a couple of times with friends an it was a good experience. It definitely gets busy during the dinner and weekend times so booking a reservation would be best. I got the free birthday lobster and it was really good, they offer different flavour options for the lobster. You should know that the bill has to be paid in cash to receive the offer. Overall the food is quality is awesome and they’re many food stations and options.

One of the better Chinese buffet restaurants I've ever had in post COVID era. The spread is not as extensive as bigger competitors, but still respectable. For supper each person gets half a lobster tail each (with a coupon). The Peking duck was succulent, the grilled and fried calamari was delicious, and the black pepper beef was amazing. The sashimi was a curious addition, but nothing special. I would stay away from the cold station and focus on the hot foods. We were given 90 minutes to eat, but the host was gracious enough to continue filling our water glasses even past the time limit. Worth noting on the quality of service. Will consider revisiting.

This is Canada's Best Chinese Style Buffet. The atmosphere is amazing and the owners put a lot of work into designing seating that reflects back on Chinese culture with meaning. Food was well prepared and so much to choose from. Great Spot!
