When I ordered chicken wings and asked the server if they were breaded and fried, I was told they were oven baked. When I got them, they were dusted and deep fried. Not sure why he lied to me, I did not complain because fried wings still taste good, I just don't like being lied to. The atmosphere here is relaxed and loungey, the menu is priced slightly high however there are daily specials are a definitely a steal. Properly trained servers could've improved my experience. Probably the worst Symposium I've ever visited.

This place is pretty awful; I couldn’t even tell if the potatoes were from a real plant! The food was not tasty and service was poor. We had to make constant reminders for drink refills and to catch anyone’s attention. Menu selection is also limited for those who prefer a healthy meal option.

Symposium this Cafe leans more to the restaurant side. The interior is fun and the style is different... It's like the Italians trying their hand at a westernized version of dessert and coffee shops... and you know what... I welcome this. It's nice to have a change. The service was friendly and helpful. Came in here for brunch. The selection was quite standard on the menu waffles, omelets, and the the regular staple items. Our server refilled our coffee cup three times we never had to ask. He was on point. However this brings us to the first real negative point. The coffee tasted burnt... The coffee sucks. I could make better coffee from my $20 Walmart coffee maker.... But the service was good. And you know what I bet you those cakes are super good did looks so decadent I would come back for dessert.

The food is decently priced $15~ with a generous serving of food per plate. The taste was mediocre. We entered and met with the greeter who wasn't too friendly. We sat down in the patio area as the waitress took our order. We ordered a bottle of prosecco and she brought out a red claiming it was prosecco. One of the water cups were obviously dirty as well as another plate that had some sauce on it.

It's a fancy place in North York offering some pretty decent but pricey food. Ordered mainly seafood. Maybe good for trying just once. PS Their displayed cakes looked out of this world though.

Really enjoyed this place! We went at a very good time -around 4:30- which is the time they had 33% off appetizers (until 6). They also have different deals each day and they're all really good ones. The place was not overcrowded and was a nice atmosphere. Decor was beautiful. I got the Atlantic salmon with pesto cream sauce and rice and veggies which was very delicious. They have an amazing dessert selection as well. We got the fudge brownie cheesecake which was definitely worth the calories ;)

It’s not a bad cafe. Food is medium quality. The smoothies are artificial tasting. The location is prime and cafe is spacious. I like the patio in the summer. Customer service is good. Management needs to improve the quality of the menu and train your cook!

The quality of food is good. The salad we tried was with good materials the salmon was fresh It has a nice comfortable atmosphere Unfortunately there is no parking The staff were really kind And the price was a bit high like 45 dollar for two salads. But overall it was good experience

The food at symposium is not bad. We came here for the early bird dinner. We felt it was similar to home made food than professionally cooked food. Their service is good, though. Loved their apple cobbler dessert
