Had a great time here, 16 bucks an hour, half price 3-6pm, there's a good variety of draught beers and cocktails, definitely coming back! Mohammed is awesome and helped us having an awesome experience.

I was at this establishment on Saturday night on February 3rd, I can say that this place was very busy. However, the service was excellent, we had the pleasure of being served by bartender Ashley, she was very dedicated, attentive and very professional. despite being very busy we were always served with a huge smile. without a doubt we will return to this place. thanks

Chalkers is newly renovated and a really great place to spend an evening hanging out, playing pool or listening to live music. Management and staff are kind, friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. Great atmosphere and energy! Two stages for live music?!? AMAZING! It’s saddens me reading some of the comments below about “the clientele” and not “feeling safe”. Those patrons should probably just stay on their entitled, privileged, generic, bland, monocultural side of the tracks.

Went by today to test the pool tables. By far outrageously expensive for very subpar tables. Cloth was very terrible (low quality cheap cloth) so playing was not the best experience. Any player can recognize that. Also $25 an hour for pool is outrageous. Definitely not going to be my go to pool spot. For any pool players needing to practice : DO NOT GO HERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY

It's a great pool hall 😁 friendly atmosphere and good vibes. Food was delicious, they had the best calamari! Staff was very courteous and looked after my team. Hope they do tournaments because I'm definitely going back

Went there with a friend, first time. We searched online to find a pool hall close to Allen Rd. We liked it. The music was great, the food was good as well. Laid back atmosphere..not stuffy or run down..in the middle. The way a pool hall should be. Will definitely go there again and recommend to friends.

I love this place. Always a nice relaxing time with friends. Sometimes the crowd can be a little rough looking, but for the most part people are there for a good time and are not looking to get into a fight. The staff are nice, although sometimes difficult to get a hold of when it's busy (naturally). Most times you're able to get a table, however, on weekends it does require you to come a bit earlier. They have a DJ on the weekends that livens the mood up as well. Overall the price and atmosphere are good. One of my favourite spots to go with friends for a fun night out.

One of the most underrated bars in the entire city. Reasonable prices, great service, spacious, well-maintained. Plenty of seating, TV's and pool tables. I appreciate the decor as well. Had some good times here while living in the neighbourhood, place really comes to life on weekends. They have a number of cool events too.

An Above Average Pub & Billiards Bar It's in a pretty rough area of North York and draws a sketchier crowd than the uptown bars but it's good for affordable drinks and pub food. It's not very clean and the bathroom is disgusting but if you've seen one bar bathroom you've seen them all. The staff double charged our group on quite a few things so be very careful when ordering and paying. It's quite large and there is a dance area for those who wish to partake. Most get drawn to this place for the pool and billiards. They have about eight tables so you shouldn't have to wait too long if at all. Not a lot of parking but you can park behind the building. It's on the upper level and requires you to climb a set of stairs. It's ok for a place to go to but I wouldn't travel long distances to see it.

Came here on a Sunday for a social boardgames meet up. Really nice environment very spacious and well lit. I would imagine that the summer time is quite busy with the large patio located on the second floor. This is a cozy environment that offers a lot of entertainment. There's a dance floor several pool tables many tables for dining in and a wonderful bar. This location has some sort of social events happening throughout the week and weekend at all times. It's a friendly environment and good place to meet new company I will note that the crowd is generally older I would say 35 + however young faces do come by as it is open to everyone. Cannot comment on the food or service as it was not regular business hours. But I would imagine it's decent.

I went here on Saturday Feb 3rd ,2024 It was really packed and seemed like they were short staffed. There was one waitress/ bartender who definitely stood out to us. - Ashley was extremely fast paced, handled a huge night like a champ. Always came up to us to ask if we needed anything else while still servicing everyone. I was really pleased by her dedication on serving her clientes. - thanks girl we will definitely come back again for the amazing drinks, pool game and you’re service.

We had a great experience. The atmosphere in the terrace was very cozy and the hostess, Jennifer, was wonderful, she even surprised us with a mini cake and cheerfully sang happy birthday for my friend. We will definitely come back

First time visiting Chalkers after their new management and I was really impressed. The atmosphere was lively and the honey garlic wings were really flavourful with a good amount of fries. Definitely going back soon!

Chalkers was a phenomenal experience. The ambience was warm and beautiful, the faint candlelight and our window view making for a magical evening. The gentleman attending our table was a true delight. He was friendly and attentive, and offered wonderful suggestions. There wasn't a single moment where we felt rushed or ignored- he timed everything so perfectly, ensuring a smooth transition between each course.

I must say, with the new management at this location, I am very impressed. The food and dining experience has reformed. The livelihood of the restaurant is immaculate. Live DJs, good food, good vibes and overall an amazing energy in the atmosphere. You must try their classic wings, truly the best appetizer and bang for the buck in the city. Moving on to mains, their pasta dishes and hot entrees are mouthwatering delicious. I must say the cocktails and wine pairings they have for their main course meals are well thought out and designed. I must say, for the price, everything on the menu is well worth it. Thank you to the new owners for reforming the dining experience at Chalkers. Salute to the both of you and wish nothing but the best for success of this family-owned enterprise.

The drinks were good but the food was awful. Our sweet potato fries we half cooked (inside was still crunchy). Our friend got beef poutine but the beef tasted off like it came from a can and the cheese was easy as if it was microwaved because after a few minutes at the table it hardened as if it was originally cheese string. The only reason I give it a 3 star is for the drinks.

This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner :) We were impressed with the quality service and pleasant atmosphere. Thank you very much!

Everyone treated my group extremely well, kudos for that. What is really sad is the food. Very simple meals for a premium price (burger with the same quality I can made home with a Sobeys bun), my friend got Margherita pizza but they forgot the key ingredients. They fixed by tossing dry leaves there. My sangria was just wine with ice. There is a lot of potential! But I won't be back anytime soon for the food. I recommend a smaller menu with better quality over variety

Second time here today. Food is pretty ordinary but not bad for the price. Drinks are pretty cheap and good. Atmosphere is nice. Staff is great! Natalie was working today and she is very sweet attendive and friendly. She was the only person working and it was pretty busy. She made it look very easy even though attending tk everyone was a challenge. Thanks for the amazing service! Will definitely be back again :)

Nice and quiet place to enjoy a game, I had bad luck the past Saturday cause there was not a live band playing, but the DJ was doing a good job. I ordered some beers, Budweiser, a cocktail that was good, and a tequila shot, idk which brand it was, but I felt it too smooth. Nice staff 👍🏻 👌🏻

Decent place, but be careful, and always grab your recipes as staffs can charge you and your group twice If not sorted properly. The food there, nothing amazing just to keep occupied. Big verity of drinks, and playing pool great, with little dance area. If willing you can have a good night out, but might come with a price here.

Has lots of space, pool tables and area for musicians to play. the food is pretty good as well. Service is fast and efficient. The drinks could be a little cheaper since it's just a neighbourhood bar. Also since owners changed some of the specials were taken away.

Came here with my friend who used to come to this place. He said something has changed. Anyway, beers weren’t that cold, no bubble. Ordered a nachos and it was huge!!!! Loaded with toppings and cheese. Could feed 4 persons with that, and we were only 2. There was live music, it was kinda annoying than being pleasant. Overall, the chill place. If I ever come back, it would be for the food.

I actually love hanging out at this place, the pool is fun and they just redecorated recently, never tried the food so I can't judge on that but their drinks are ok. I have seen live bands play occasionally on a Saturday night, or just a dj with people making use of the small dance area in the back, overall a fun time. would recommend.

Great pool and bar spot. They also have pretty cool events that happens. I don't frequent the place enough but the last couple of times, they've had a family feud type of game. Plenty of pool tables, good food and lots of beer options. Servers are super awesome. Nothing to complain about.
