Overpriced food with little choice on the menu. I feel like all the money paid went into fancy hardwood plates for serving. Over hyped! Not again. Very high on salt. And 8 of us dined in and 8th person never got the food. So much for $$$$ and tips.

Enjoyed dinner here with a group of friends. Service was friendly though a tad slow for food to come out. Prices are okay, being in Yorkdale. Would recommend for night outs. UPDATE: Came here again for Summerlicious 2018 and honestly, it was underwhelming. The pricing was pretty average, which bumped my experience up to "acceptable". Not sure if it is worth another visit, though it is convenient and better than some of the food court options in Yorkdale.

My friends and I came here for a meal after another restaurant wasn't seating people anymore. Jamie's was pretty full but there was still a lot of space for the evening and got seated right away. It was a homey and warm atmosphere albeit a little loud. Once seated, we got our water and took the waitress quite a long time to get back to take our order. We were pretty hungry. I ordered the breaded Turkey and the Buffalo Mozzarella. Salad. I thought the mozzarella salad was delicious with endive, drizzled vinegar and citrus. Well balanced and lovely. The Turkey, however, was a schnitzel which I was expecting more of a cordon blue. Not much stuffing and the breading was too over powering to taste the truffle shavings. Slightly disappointing. Overall, the food and service was mediocre but if you need a place for resonably priced food and drinks, this is a place to go!

One star for the nice decor. One star for the service and for the desert. The "fresh pasta" was a disappointment it does not worth the price. French fries taste like McDonald fries and the pizza dough is thin as paper! I mean the food was ok...but nothing to be excited about. But i was very surprise by the Tiramusi that was excellent compare to the rest.

Ambiance great, staffs friendly. Food-wise, perhaps I had set too high an expectation. I liked the pizza for its dough. In terms of pasta dishes, I found the texture a bit mushy for my preference (we had spaghetti and linguine one each); vongole delicious, pomodoro lacks complexity. Salad fresh, however dressing tasted blank besides simply sour.

Food is always amazing here - we watched a chef make fresh pasta right behind us!! But in terms of service, we went for lunch on a weekday when it wasn't busy and were there for over 2 hours. We saw our server laughing and joking with other staff which isn't a problem usually except when we had already asked them for the bill 🤔 This individual was also clearly on their phone (again, wouldn't normally bug me but in this case we had already asked for the bill so expected a quick response)

First time going here after we went for another restaurant but found out the wait would be 1.5 hours. We were seated quickly and our server was very friendly. Had the mock tail special for the day and it was delicious. We had a kids meal, chicken salad and shrimp linguine. The kids meal didn’t come for sauce for the chicken Lollies which we thought would be standard for kids meals. The linguine did not have much sauce so the shrimp had a raw taste but it still tasted good. I had the toffee cake after our server recommended it. It was moist and hot and very delicious.

Went on a Friday dinner after doing some shopping at Yorkdale. The service was quick. Orders the strawberry passion fruit juice and the bolognese as well as sticky toffee pudding. The server was very good at providing recommendations that fit our taste bud. All three dishes were winner although the pasta sauce was a bit on the saltier side. Overall meal was ~$60.

Excellent experience. Marvelous food. Exceptional wine. Will come again when I can afford it. Worth the money, but will have to be a very special occasion. Best pasta I have had. At first I was disappointed that the prawn feticinni wasn't a white sauce but the tomato was so delicate and perfectly seasoned that I didn't regret the choice. Lovely evening. The perfect evening would have been if my wife could of joined me. (As long as she wasn't allowed to see the prices).

The food was amazing! It came fast, hot and really really delicious. The only point is that once we got there we waited about 10 minutes alone at the table until the first person appeared to take our drink order and in the end we waited more than 10minutes with the check until someone came with a machine for us to pay. Other than these 2 long waiting times at the very beginning and at the very end, everything was great. I would recommend and will definetely go back.

The service was 'ok'. It was slow to start, but got better. We had a round of starters with calamari which was really good with a lot of contrasting flavours. For mains we had the pork chop, truffle tagliatelle and spaghetti carbonara. Pork chop was great - lots of contrasting flavours. The pastas had great flavour, but they were both a bit dry and need more sauce. Afogato for dessert was great! We'll be back to try another Jamie specialty.

It was so amazing taste, service and atmosphere. The restaurant is open kitchen style so it’s reliable to have food from here. Me and my friend ordered the linguine pomodoro, funghi misti pizza, fresh apple juice and non-alcohol cocktail. Everything was just perfect! Also, the server was nice and friendly. The dessert, Brownie, was too sweet for me, but it was still so yummy. If you’re craving for really really sweet one, don’t hesitate to have this amazing brownie :) Definitely I’ll visit here again to have another pastas and pizzas 👍🏻

I was alittle skeptical about coming to Jamie's as I read mixed reviews for Winterlicious 2020. I like to form my own options and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere and restaurant layout was simple, modern and clean. Our server Jessie (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was kind, courteous and attentive. The food service was prompt as well. The food was excellent and delicious. The presentation of the food was also amazing. I will definitely visit again. I can't wait to try other options on the regular menu.

The food was amazing. It was a big group of us, some people had steak some people had pasta. Starters were meat board, calamari, mushrooms and focaccia - the meat board was pretty pathetic, they said it was enough for 4 but it was hardly enough for 3, the other appetizers were amazing. The mains were delicious - however, don't go to an Italian place and get something other than pizza or pasta, you'll be disappointed! Those of us who had pasta were thoroughly satisfied and pleased with our meal, those of us who did not did not enjoy theirs! All in all I will definitely be going back for some mushrooms and pasta!!
