    Only stayed here for a short time. Thank goodness. The staff earns it the second star, and a full fridge, and stove would have been nice if I needed them. However, the room outshadows the staff. This place is in dire need of some maintenance. I turned on the heat on the AC to warm up the room and it caused the fire alarm to go off, so I stayed cold that night, the phone did not work, and there was no TV remote. I've attached some photos so you can make your own conclusions. Thankfully I don't think I need to worry about losing my deposit. Additionally, I did find myself killing about one roach, and a few other bugs early in the morning. Don't think I'll ever be going back.

    This is the NASTIEST place I've ever been to! Don't waste your money! Checked in at 5:45pm and was out by 8:00 pm! Was given room 145 and just upon walking this nasty smell hits us! A mix of moldiness, cigarette, dirty smell! Not only did we feel like we were suffocating in there, everything was dirty and there were even broken cabinet doors. We were attending a Wedding that night and were planning to stay the night there as we live far away but quickly changed our plans! Practically used the room to get ready and checked right out! I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! Specially if you're staying with family/kids. We were only in the room for about 2 hours and was seriously the worst! Woke up the next day with a sore throat and raspy voice. Can't imagine if we would've spent the night!

    I'm writing this review not out of spite but as precaution for others who reserve a room that you reserve WEEKS prior you will be 1000% left stranded like complete garbage. My friends and I planned a whole Orlando trip MONTHS prior and was able to book for simply 4 nights on New Year's Weekend at Hometowne Suite Studios. To keep pace with our entire itinerary, we made call in a WEEK and days ahead of time to confirm our rooms for that New Year's week.I was told by one of the front desk representatives practically giving us complete Green light to to be able to check-in on the day our reservations. Even late if needed. As we got to Orlando and enjoy the festivities of 2022. It was time for us to rest and and and check in our location. As we arrive there we were bombared by security asking for identification and have the audacity to ask why have come here. I have let the security of our Reservations and was told he was unable to access the system and was unable to give us our room. Practically refusing entry and service to our RESERVED Room. Obviously we were disgruntled. So we're practically in a whole new environment stranded in the middle of the night in unknown territory with no shelter to cover our heads . This area of Orlando is extremely low income and highly dangerous .with unpredictable panhandlers harrasing us. I barely could sleep one eye open. Isn't this the best start of 2022 🙃. We demand our Refund before we get hurt around here... NOW

    What kind of hotel and or extended stay charge well over 106$ per night at times more, but don't offer to clean your room. They charge an 100$ deposit and 10$ extra a day if you want your room cleaned. House keepers are already getting paid ! I can understand leaving a tip for them if you feel like it. But charging customers an extra 10$ to clean their room is ridiculous. You easily stay at a 4 or 5 star hotel for the same rate almost and get your room cleaned daily. How absurd and we are still dealing with covid. That was a turn off, and I know for a fact this hotel is not clean. They clean your room every 14 days. If your staying less than that either pay more or deal with a dirty stay.

    The bathtubs alone are absolutely disgusting. I tried three different rooms all the same except the last had roaches. I asked what was the point of a deposit when I couldn't make a room any worse. Just please take your money elsewhere. Customer service definitely was no help and didn't care not see any issue with the pictures so I'll post them for you to see and make up your own mind.

    This place is GHETTO. We were greeted in the parking lot by a large woman smoking and yelling at some kids across the motel. There were roaches in the room, people and children just hanging out outside and smoking and drinking, the headboard on the bed was on the ground, the kitchen sink knob was broken, the tub looked like a murder scene, there were cigarette burns on the bathroom sink, we were told at check in that the pool was open to just be told the following day that the county inspector had shut it down for failing the inspection, the front desk staff acted like they could care less about everything. Save your money and DO NOT BOOK HERE!! We checked out after being forced to stay a second night. Never again!

    I wouldn’t recommend this place at all to anyone not even my worse enemy. This place is infested with roaches. The front office is very rude and the girl Nina that usually works in the afternoons is nice. These office workers LOVE to talk about people. They tell you that get housecleaning every other week but I never seen that. The housekeepers isn’t even better. Those kids that be outside is so bad and likes to hit on cars with toys

    we made a reservation and there was no mention of a specific room number or time. arrived early as it had to be in the morning almost 12. they said check in was 3pm only needed the room a few hours for a break that morning. they said the specific room was not available instead of giving one available. will dispute with bank didn't even get to stay. Never had this bs happen before all the places. i been check ins were early

    This place is great. Wish the price was lower. Its quiet, clean, and cozy. I noticed some of the guests throw their trash bags anywhere. Even though there are signs posted everywhere of where to dispose of the trash (first floor designated receptacle). Great place to stay otherwise. The staff are really nice.👏👏👏

    At least we're not homeless. That's about all that I can say about it. Yes there are a lot of cockroaches. The room has water leaking and it constantly to which they cannot fix. They do not like to give you extra towels when you need to clean up the mess made by their air conditioners or by leaky faucets. The rooms are dirty. The shower leaks constantly makes a lot of noise. Honestly I think the stove might be a fire hazard but at least we have a place to live. The staff is usually friendly but they have a high turnover rate. I hope we can find an apartment but we're appreciative of the fact that they let us stay here for so long

    This is the worst hotel to stay at. Even if it’s your last option, don’t choose this hotel. The room was dirty, mold in the bathroom, and the BEST PART… ROACHES; Coming from other rooms and holes in the kitchen cabinets where they’re coming from. When we complained about the roaches (and they laughed at us) they tried to give us another room unaware that the maintenance man had told us that 13 rooms were infested. Because of our complaints, they terminated our stay (even after we had plans to leave knowing they weren’t going to take care of the problem) The staff was unprofessional, they can’t spell, and sometimes the staff is not there in the evening before 11pm. One night, a staff member was in the car honking at my wife to get her attention instead of going back in the office. It took them a week just to get in touch with anyone who was supposed to come in and exterminate the rooms. There is an old employee who we met, who stated himself that this place is unprofessional, they don’t take pride in their work and they treat residents wrong. Walls are super thin. All you here is other people’s alarms and barking dogs. They take forever to clean, although I don’t have a picture, it took them 3 days to clean off a cheese slice that was on the elevator door. I had to clean the bathroom before I could even get in it, and use a bath mat because the shower floor and walls were still stained. The mattress had two dents and dips on each side, you could feel the springs, and the sheets didn’t even seem clean- we used our own sheets. The room keys are super iffy, and don’t work more than they do work. Even after calling corporate, who also didn’t care about the situation, they wanted us to move to another room for one night, to still make us leave the next day. All, in all, although we’ve tried to keep our spirits up, and have given them the benefit of the doubt, they have been the absolute worst. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

    DISGUSTING!! Hands down, the absolute worse place I have stayed in on the east coast. Trust me when I say the 5 star reviews are fake. As writing this review unfortunately I have 3 more miserable days left. Management awful. The homeless people who leave here awful. The A/C awful and it’s been 95+ everyday room will get to a smooth 77 by 3am. The pool OMFG AWFUL it might as well be a bathroom. Honestly I thought of leaving pictures but it will do no justice. Also please put your pass in your car. The Managment is very active in getting your car towed not the tow company the freaking front desk. Never ever ever Eva ever EVER do a price line deal buster with this hotels name in it. And to prove my point, management please don’t send me your classic response because ifgaf I took a L just trying to save another person. Update I had to leave some pictures.

    Room was small and had a smell of not being clean furniture out dated and damaged prior to our stay ac unit only worked half of the time. Headboard from the bed fell in the middle of the night and when we went to report the incident they questioned my girlfriend in Spanish because they assumed that i qouldnt understand them. they will bang on your door to see if you will extend your stay or will be checking out. smelled like weed all over the hotel. the water prrssure in shower was questionable and they up charge you for kitchen essentials. my recommendation do not stay here

    Very convenient and clean with a pool. Would be 5 star but the water is off in the morning till afternoon. I've been here before but now it's so different. Wifi works, no roaches and that, wonderful front dest management. So far cant complain. I'd recommend

    Manager was very rude, pool was closed for over 4 days, over the holidays as well, the sink in kitchenette poured water out of the drain due to tape holding it together, they did fix that, however they're card machine went down and was forced to be let into our room multiple times and even wait with kids as it's 100 degrees outside. The shower barely got warm, the housekeepers denied giving us towels said to go down 3 flights of stairs with 3 kids to get them from the front desk, the washer for laundry did not work majority of our stay and we paid for 20+ days up front. This is ridiculous.

    Worst lodging experience ever. The bathroom sink was semi clogged and then started backing up when the neighboring guests used their plumbing, TV wouldn't have a signal once you turned it back on, then there was the pest issue...roaches. I was really afraid that we would bring them home with us and I was paranoid about them crawling into our suitcases so I was constantly searching around and zipping up everything. On top of that, I never received my room deposit back. No cleaning service because we weren't there a full 7 days and I had to ask for additional towels for the bathroom. I felt bad that I couldn't give my daughter a more pleasant vacation. Never ever again...

    I will never recommend this place to anyone. I am not picky, I am not looking for a 5 star hotel. But seriously, I would think as a business owner, you would try to take pride in your business. This place is completely rundown. Broken shower, broken toilets. Roaches everywhere. It was very dirty. Had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean the room before we could stay. Although they say they will have someone come and clean, nothing for the 8 days I stayed. I asked for toilet paper and the Front desk looked at me like why I was even asking for it. I went to the office 3 times during my stay to try and get clean towels and still at checkout I never was able to get clean towels. After my failed attempts I just went and washed them myself. At check in, I was never advised of the parking pass, how to turn on the stove or that the doors open with the handle up instead of turning them down. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. Dear management, no need to let me know you have pest control come often. You still have a problem and clearly the very minor attempts made to control the pests are not working. I regret that my family booked 3 rooms in the location and gave your business any money.

    Hey everyone viewing this. I feel as though the overall rating of this establishment is not a true representation of the facilities based off of my experiences. I have stayed here a few times and have no complaints. I loved it here. If it were a little more cost-friendly I would have stayed longer. Staff was pleasant and I never had a problem with anyone. Maybe it's the way I carry myself. Give respect and you shall receive the same anywhere in the world. Home is what YOU make it. Great place. Any type of dining or shopping needs are ALL within walking distance if you don't feel like driving. If you don't currently have the convenience of your own vehicle OBT is 3 minutes away with multiple transit lines. 5 STARS from me. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟This is a TRUE REVIEW. ✌🏽

    This hotel was disgusting and had roaches. Me and my family could not even stay and they will not even refund our money even though they said they would. We were only there for less than 40 minutes and found roaches and had to find another hotel and spend extra money we weren't planning on. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    I really dont know where to start. If you are looking a temporary staying without no complaints to the staff and corporate office where you will waste your time, then this is the right place for you. You will find a filthy room, mold rooms, roaches infested, broken furnitures, broken toilets and showers, broken sink and cabinets drawers, If you complaint to the staff you will be lucky to get an apology, The staff was unprofessional, they can’t spell, and sometimes the staff is not there in the evening before 11pm. One night, a staff member was in the car honking at my wife to get her attention instead of going back in the office. The mattress had two dents and dips on each side, you could feel the springs, and the sheets definitely were clean. Overall review we kept the spirit up regardless the inconvenience HomeTowne studios provided. The staff and the corporate priorities arent here to make happy customers, but to make profits out of your staying, they have been the absolute worst. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. If you want the worst you are welcome here!

    the hotel was really bad the system worked rlly bad we reserved two rooms and it said that they canceled the room when we didn’t and it took us more than an hour to give it to us and get it fixed. when i entered the room the smell was nasty it smelled like pee the bed sheets had stains and little specks of dirt on them there were roaches in our room the fridge was nasty and the bathroom wall had mold on it and the ac didn’t work after we told them to fix it they never did. this hotel is diguisting for my experience and you can’t change my mind if your planning on a vacation don’t go to this hotel!

    Holy moly this place! Disgusting! I arrived after midnight due to a late arriving flight and had to stand outside the lobby and call security to give me my room. Security was very pleasant and the only positive of my experience. Exterior was super unclean...dirt on the stairway accumulating for decades, chipped paint, rust on the railing. I didn't even want to touch it. Room was top three worst rooms I have ever stayed in and that includes staying in remote areas in third world countries. Room had twin beds: one missing a comforter, sheets thin and worn and bed was loud and lumpy. Rooms have a loud a/c unit in window that barely cooled. Light above bed was rusted and I didn't even want to touch it. Room was so crowded as they stuffed two beds, a half fridge and small table. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned since 1970. Floor was gross and uneven. I actually thought might fall through, especially in the bathroom. There was a small "kitchenette" with stovetop that you couldn't pay me to turn on. Drawers were actually falling off in the kitchenette. Bathroom was scary as h$ll. Smelled like I was in the middle of the jungle. Water leaking from the shower, mold in the shower pan. My favorite part was housekeeping banging on my door well before check-out yelling "Buenos dias!" I have a minivan and I can truly say it would have been more comfortable with a pillow and sleeping bag in my back row of seats.

    The staff is very helpful and easy going. This is hands downs the best staff I have dealt with at a hotel. The office is clean and always smell good. The rooms are pretty spacious and they have a full fridge and a stove top. Also the pool is heated. Overall, great staff, service and quality.

    To summarize this: what a disgusting, terrible room omg everything is dirty like there is no way to stay in !! Felt vomiting and I immediately get out and request refund and run. I wish I could give them less than 1 star. How can a business such that not even care for costumer safety and service.

    1. Room was not the cleanest. 2. Moldy smell upon entering room. 3. Springs were coming thru the mattress. Made it very hard to sleep. 4. Never received any towels or wash clothes. Even after going to the office and asking 4 days in a row. 5.Last night there found roaches. Have pics will try to post. Worst place I believe I have ever stayed in.

    I would never recommend this long turn stay hotel to anyone. We had many problems with the room and customer service. When we first arrived our room was not ready. We were made to wait for over an hour after arriving at or after 3. Secondly once we were able to head to the room the refrigerator was dirty from the previous guest. We asked for the housekeeper to come and clean it out. Thirdly on our second day the ceiling in the bathroom started leaking from the room upstairs. They said we would need to wait to move to a new room. We had to wait over five hours and the two rooms the offer were nastier then the one we were in. Trust me just don’t with this one. Never again.

    Absolutely worst experience I've ever had. Room was filthy. Bathroom was disgusting with pests crawling around. I traveled with a group of friends and some got kicked out a day before their check-out date with no explanation from the staff. Definitely not worth the money whatever the price.

    I wish that I could seriously give this place negatives. Our daughter had surprised us with an Anniversary get away, well she felt so bad when she found out that the rings tv didn't work, the floors were filthy and sticky, the bedding had burn holes. The table and chairs were disgusting. I used a wipe and it was black. The room smelled of weed. So the clerk have us another room. Well forget that, that room was even worse. Went to return the keys and get a refund but couldn't do that because she had gone to lunch, so our daughter said just pack your stuff I'll deal with them. So if this is a place for you then stay here other wise go somewhere else.

    This place has been the worst place I have ever stayed. I spent several nights because they did not want me to refund the money I paid for 8 nights. The photos I upload speak for themselves. The hotel staff are the worst and the rooms are dirty. the bathroom seems to be never cleaned. they do not offer daily cleaning service. the TV control does not have the battery cover. the room smells musty, the microwave doesn't work and it's broken. Did I forget to mention the cockroaches in the room ???

    It was just ok. When I arrived I seen two rooms the first one smelled like mold, the second was a smoking room and it smelled great. Overall it was decent, the price being 80 bucks a night was high for the quality of the hotel. It was a 6-7 out of ten. The staff were great although I was hounded for five dollars for two days after I checked in. When I prepaid a welcome price. They finally let that go, after a talk to a manger. If you like luxurious hotel stays this one’s not for you.

    Stayed for almost a year while working in Orlando from out of town. The previous manager and staff was awesome who was there until the last few months. Now a new manager is there and most of the d staff has left after teing me how bad he was. This guy is clueless. He has messed up my account several times and tried to charge me for his mistakes. Finally I had enough of the rudness from staff and manager and went to check out. I asked since the card they were refunding to was lost and replaced with a different card number how the refund would work. That card payed the original deposit so I understand that the refund for it would go to that card. I simply asked since the card number doesn't exist how it would work they could not provide a answer are were going to call support and find out for me. I mentioned that the card belonged to my ex and at the point he told me that it was between me and her and refused to help anymore and told me to call the cops if had a issue. That doesn't change the fact that all I wanted to know is how the refund would work as me a d her are fine would have no problem getting the money from her it wasn't a issue of getting the money from her it was how the refund would work since the card had been canceled. After doing some quick research I found that the refund would still go to her account of her new number. But he just wanted to jump to conclusions instead of take 2 min and finding the answer to a simple question he should have already know the answer to since that issue most likely happens alot. I stayed in about 8 different rooms during my stay due to them randomly moving me or maintainice issues. Some rooms were great no bugs or issues others were over run with bugs and leaking pipes. Definitely not the best place but at least they use to have a staff that would try to help. The new manager has no idea what he is doing and the place is getting worse by the week. For the price if your looking longer term there are alott of other options in the area.

    Booked a room a few days ago and called earlier in the day to confirm the booking. We show up around 9pm and are told our reservation was canceled. The woman at the front desk informed us that an email should have gone out but it didn't. She offered us a room after telling us that they were booked. She gave us the key to "look" at the room first. I asked her if it was a trashed room she replied " I don't know what it looks like. We have new rooms and old rooms." I asked her if we were still getting the room at the price we originally booked for she informed me it would be more. We decided to take our chances because it's so late. We were given no directions on where the room was. Turns out it was at the very end of the building. When we got there the door didn't open. So we had no idea what it looked like. We ended up getting a hotel else where and highly do not recommend this place. If you know your giving someone a gross room you shouldn't be charging more. It's a shame. The company I work for does alot of traveling and we will NOT be using this hotel in the future. I have already informed them of the situation and lack of cleanliness I observed.

    They have the best service there you need some of the wonderful people in the world, and the girl Felicia that works the front desk she have excellent customer service people skills. She have patience to work with all the guests that comes through the door. They have good ground keepers that cleans the property is nice and clean. Securities so so tight! It's a wonderful place to stay in I recommend it to anyone. Thank you Mr Woods

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at this establishment and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived, and they made sure that all of my needs were met during my stay. One of the things that really stood out to me was the quality of the internet reception - I needed to broadcast live for work, and the connection was strong and reliable throughout my entire stay. This was a huge plus for me and made my work-related tasks much easier and stress-free. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the attention to detail in terms of the decor and furnishings - it really made me feel at home during my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff truly went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one, and I cannot wait to visit again!

    Totally disgusting! I am confused in a time of COVID there is actually a place that does not offer daily housekeeping, not an adequate trash disposal and no bars of soap! I really should have read the reviews before I booked this place. I'm sure the board of health would be very interested in reading some of these reviews.

    This place is nasty, they overcharge for the rooms. I checked in around 4PM. When I got to my room, the tub was dirty, the top of the refrigerator was sticky and a film of dust was on it. No one was available to was the tub. I asked for a roll of toilet paper couldn't get that. I met a woman in the lobby complaining her room was flooded and had to argue to get extra towels to dry up the water.

    I’ve stayed here twice. And those 2 times i’ve stayed have been amazing. You know not every hotel is gonna give you everything but for the price it’s not a bad place to stay. I enjoyed my stay here. Honestly if the weekly or monthly rates weren’t so high I would live here.

    The staff was so helpful and friendly. The property was clean and very quiet. We loved the heated swimming pool. My room was spotless and well maintained. It is so close to the Florida Mall and all the Theme Parks. I highly recommend HomeTowne Studios- Orlando- South. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Orlando.
