It
has
been
a
long
time
since
I
last
visited
the
beautiful
Fox
theater.
I
love
it
every
time
I
get
a
chance
to
attend
a
show
here.
Oakland
has
changed
so
much
over
the
past
decade,
due
to
many
different
reasons,
with
gentrification,
perhaps,
being
one
of
the
biggest
reasons,
among
other
long-standing
social-economic
issues
that
have
plagued
this
city.
Anyhow,
I
got
to
spend
the
evening
in
the
graceful
presence
of
Ludovico
Einaudi
and
his
special
solo
performance
here
at
Fox
Theater
during
his
American
tour.
His
music
is
so
much
more
wonderful
LIVE!
The
simplicity
of
this
man's
presence
and
his
piano
was
such
elegant
of
a
view,
a
feast
for
both
eyes
and
ears.
Music
like
this
can
calm
a
crying
child,
regulate
your
nervous
system,
and
take
your
mind
to
a
whole
different
world.
It
is
pure
CLASS!
If
you're
a
fan
of
classical
music
and
get
a
chance
to
see
this
man's
performance
in
real
life,
I'd
highly
recommend
it.
It's
worth
every
penny.

I'm
thankful
for
the
sincere
older
gentleman
who
worked
at
the
nearby
parking
lot
on
Telegraph
Ave.
He
was
kind
enough
to
accompany
me
on
a
walk
to
the
nearby
ATM
so
I
could
get
some
cash
to
pay
him
for
the
parking
fee.
I
so
appreciate
his
kindness
and
our
conversation
along
the
way.
