Outstanding quality and huge variation of cocktails. The bartenders are skillful and knowledgeable. The service is (most of the time) excellent. Update: Still enjoy the drinks but not the service. I find one particular bartender arrogant and rude. The individual shows attitude to customers. I spent my time and money for good drinks and good vibes, am not there to listen a bartender's complaints against other customers.

Great service and delicious drinks but seriously the fact that smoking is allowed in such small place is disappointing. I really had troubles to enjoy the place because of cigarettes everywhere…

It’s a great bar. There’s just one thing which is a no go in 21 century. People are allowed to smoke there. How can you let people freely poison others while enjoying their time? Comments about good ventilation are strange because good ventilation doesn’t help if someone puts a cigarette half a meter away from you. That’s a shame as it’s really great place with passionate people working there.

The bar is indeed interestingly laid out. You ring the doorbell to get in and are first struck by the selection of spirits. The service is okayish. They don't like to give advice on drinks and ask you to make a selection from the menu. Otherwise you get a brief info on special varieties, but that's it. The selection of drinks is indeed huge, but the price is shocking. Frankfurt is expensive, but not that expensive. We paid 35 euros for 2 gin tonics. The bar is neither classy nor special in terms of service, which would justify the price. Absolutely amazing experience, i really enjoyed myself with a few friends. Friendly staff which is very hospitable. Moreover there is a great variety of excellent whisk(e)y´s available. The cocktails are great and the knowledge of the employees is impeccable! Definitely a place to visit if in Frankfurt. The tables could be slightly more far from each other especially on the busy day.

I can really recommend this bar for a nice and enjoyable evening with good quality of service and drinks. I had great experience here for cocktails with and without alcohol. The staff were also super enthusiastic and full of humor.

The bar offers an unforgettable Whiskey experience, from the Whiskey selection to the drink presentation (with the impeccable ice!). Also, the wonderful thing about the bar is that it offers another repertoire of delicious drinks, like the GIN. The customer service is excellent especially because of the openness of those who work here. The atmosphere of the place is magical. I will always come back with pleasure.

Nice bar with an extensive spirits list. Prices and sophistication are on the upper end of the range. For the full experiences you probably have to reserve a table in advance because the outdoor seating area takes away most of the charm this place has to offer

A hidden gem in Frankfurt! From many Bars in this town, this Bar absolutely blew my mind with the incredible selection of Spirits and a big variety of Cocktail choices you get. I love the fact that you get some of your Cocktails/Spirits served on clear ice. The cocktails are Amazing also due to the fact that they are made with lots of love, and high quality products. All and all this Bar should be on your list if you fancy a nice evening with amazing drinks. Extensive cocktail list, the bar keepers are attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The collection of alcohol is also pretty stellar. What missed the mark, unfortunately and maybe it is just a matter of opinion, is the ambience. Facing the bar, you get a fantastic view at the vast collection of alcohol; look backwards where the guests sit and it has a grim diner-like view to it... Don't let that stop you though, the drinks are worth the visit.

We have been once again in the Embury Bar. Our drinks were again excellent and the atmosphere was right. Unfortunately, this bar is a smoking bar, but the ventilation is very good. Therefore this was not a problem. Thank you

When it comes to mixology and craft cocktails, this place is number one. I have visited many craft cocktail bars and speakeasy bars across the globe (I live in the USA), and Embury Bar is the best so far! The bar tending staff is uber intelligent about the alcohols + additives + use of dilution (ask them about the famous book about dilution). You will find it difficult to dislike their creations. Do not expect for cheap drinks, that’s what grocery stores are for. Be ready to spend $$$ for quality cocktails.

Amazing bar! Great service, great atmosphere. Their whiskey selection is the best in FFM. I was lucky to try several bourbons that are no longer produced. Their cocktails are also very good! The bartenders are friendly and can recommend a great cocktail based on your likes. Highly recommend for a date or just a chill night out.

Truly an exquisite experience. The selection is almost as impressive as the unbelievably detailed knowledge of the staff. My brother and I speak little German, but everyone made us very welcome in English. I would travel to Frankfurt again specifically to visit this establishment.

THE most extensive collection of whiskies and scotch you can find in a bar in Germany. They also have the Scottish Malt Whisky Society bottlings. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff with top notch service. Must visit for a whisky connoisseur..

Nice ambiance, friendly service and great drinks!

Lovely hidden gem for an artisanal cocktail either before or after dinner. It’s a dark lounge vibe and it’s not super big, so make sure to keep that in mind. The cocktail menu was pages long and they offer to make you items off the menu as well - it’s a cool spot.

Amazing cocktails, especially their amaretto sour. I also love the atmosphere, and the fact that they filter who can enter, that keeps the chill and calm environment going, even when it gets late or crowded in the neighbourhood.

Great find in what can be a challenging city to locate a chilled out ‘speak easy’ type of bar. The barman also offered great suggestions for cocktails. Definitely worth visiting!

Great atmosphere and ambiance but the prices are too high for what it is- I moved from London and for the same price you get drinks at the Shard or Skygarden (world class skyline views) so would’t come at this pricing to be on ground floor in a cozy but small place

Excellent place to have a drink and relax a bit.

Got a valuable education on French style of producing rum (from Martinique). Not surprisingly it's quite similar to cognac but made from sugar can juice instead of molasses yet is still a dark rum. Makes for a wonderful rum old fashion (my wife's and mine own goto drink) and this place would absolutely be my goto place for cocktails. Our friend who doesn't drink much loved her refreshing beverage. Recommended.

Outstanding Classic Drinks, very nice Atmosphere, and the Signature Drinks are stunning. The Spiritis collection is certainly impressive. never saw a bar with that many bottles, and all of them are handpicked. The staff is very skilled and the spirits knowledge is beyond. Surley will be back soon.

Embury, which I had the opportunity to go for the first time yesterday evening, turned out to be much more beautiful than I expected. The employees were very caring and knowledgeable, they were able to answer every question kindly and in detail. The atmosphere of the interior of the place is very nice for meeting and chatting with friends, maybe the distance between the tables can be increased, but it is not a very important problem. It's an enjoyable place to go often.

Cocktails from here are lovely, lots of thought behind them and the staff are very attentive- bear in mind it's quite an intimate setting!

Still one of the (if not just) best bars in town! A well-thought drinks and spirits selection, skilled bartenders and a very friendly and welcoming bilingual staff creates a wonderful experience every time! And a feeling of classy US bar from the 30s comes as a bonus on top :)
