The Comedy Show was great. I had ordered some food, that was great too. The service was good, one staff was like really rude, but can't blame the entire staff for just one guy. Definitely worth coming to atleast once.

hosted an event for us and they are beyond awesome. staff are top notch, adam is a tech/lights/sound wiz, bartenders + servers are lovely and talented humans and the facility itself is crazy good for live music! we had a blast and everything was perfect!

The place is amazing. The Bollywood night organized by IndiansTO was fantastic. Great music and service. We had reserved a VIP table. Great service and atmosphere.

the venue itself and the atmosphere is nice and the security was polite for the most part. the drinks however are extremely watered down to the point where you can barely taste the chaser. when we asked the bartender about it she immediately became hostile and poured an extra shot in each glass without even asking if we wanted it and then proceeded to demand money for it. she had a very bad attitude and pretended she couldn't hear what we were saying and that tainted our night. it really wasn't necessary. aaaand of course the "double shot" was a waste of time, still tasted very watered down. won't be returning.

Visited this venue to support "Reign Studios" event night, on a Thursday evening. Location is prime, close to Union station and other prominent land marks in downtown Toronto. This establishment is annexed to The Old Spaghetti Factory, which is another iconic spot. The place was well-staffed when I came with security, bar tenders, and dj. The facility itself was also well-maintained and was equipped with necessary space & equipment for events such as sound systems, microphones, lights, fog machine, chairs & tables, and stage. My only suggestion would be managing the washrooms better, since there was barely any soap to wash with, and no paper towels to dry my hands when I went in there. But, overall it was a great experience and would definitely come back for another event.

Visited April 11, 2022. Went for open mic night. It was a great atmosphere, set up and vibe the whole night! The sound system was amazing. Drinks were decently priced. Only complaint was it took a while to get served sometimes and they didn’t have any burgers available on their night menu. Overall still a great place!

Great NXNE venue. There's a bit of an open area for dancing and more than enough space to find a seat. Drinks are not especially cheap but that's probably just from being on the Esplanade.

The vibe is soooo AMAZING!!! food and service were great(special thanks to the bartender with long hair). Also, I really enjoyed the jazz performance. I wish more bands like them do more performances here. Definitely coming back again next time.

Bad service at the entrance. I exited the Uber and was holding a cooler. They said that because of this I had to wait 45 minutes outside. I was not drunk, had a government-issued ID and tickets to the event. They were very stubborn, rude, and accepted no explanation. I did not think it was fair that because I was holding a drink before entering (I was not driving), I was made to wait 45 minutes+

Place is like a funeral. It is dead! Edit: i was there Saturday November 5th at 10pm. One table had some patrons and the rest was empty. No music, nothing was happening. No one to greet us and take us to the table. Ended up walking to the spaghetti factory which was livelier.

100% one of the most positive experiences I have had at a Toronto bar. Staff is friendly, management is amazing, and they strive to entertain guests. I recommend you add this gem to the places you want to check out on your night out.

Great spot for a show, excellent lighting and fantastic drinks. The only downside was that there wasn't enough seating. How are you selling so many tickets to shows and not providing enough seating?

Sunday has a comedy show. It is very entertaining. The drink was a bit weak. But nevertheless Sunday comedy stand-up for 10$. Is highly recommended.

Good service, don't get here too early. Did not realize until we arrived that this is part of Spaghetti Factory. Awkward while there are still people dining, but once the restaurant closes they do a good job of transforming the space. Good service and nice lineups.

After attending a concert at Meridian Place, my friends and I decided to grab a bite at a nearby restaurant. The place was bustling with people and it took us a while to find a table. Though we were seated fairly quickly, we ended up next to the entrance door, which was constantly opening and closing, making it noisy, congested and cold. As for the food, it was decent but not exceptional, and didn't leave a lasting impression.

A super fun place to go on a night out. We arrived half an hour after they opened, and we didn't have to pay a cover. Coat check was only three dollars. It was a 2010s music night and everyone was dancing! Good vibes all around. Only semi-complaint is that it was eleven dollars for a tequila shot (which is a bit steep in my opinion), but nonetheless I would still bring my friends to this venue for a night of dancing!

bad service at the entrance. They made me wait 45 min without a line because I exited the uber and I was holding a cooler and drank only one sip of it. I had bought my tickets one week ago and still they did not let me in, even though I am legal. .

Good vibes! Attended a friend performing this one night. The lighting is great but if the bar has a mixing artist, they really don't know how to master live voice-overs, the vocals were sometimes very much drowned out by the amped instruments. Shots were very expensive given the kind of establishment. Other drinks were decently priced. The bartenders didn't attend with care or smile at all, there was no rush at the bar, they passed the machine, ran away, slid the drinks, started cleaning things (10pm), so I didn't feel as welcome at the bar. There is a dance floor in the middle which could've been utilized for that event but I suppose the event warranted there to be 'attendees' who were there to observe their friends/ family perform. I though it would've been better to have the dance floor open near the stage. Decent vibes all in all. Will visit again.

Played here with my band a few days ago. This place has a great vibe. Lots of stained glass and quite different from the attached "spaghetti factory'. The staff was very courteous and the sound guy was amazing to work with as well!

A bit pricy but the atmosphere and service is amazing. I love that they send postcards on our behalf. Highly recommended if you're going with a group of friends or on a date.

This is a hidden gem live music venue. Used to be called Amsterdam Bicycle Club. Great small place.

Small and intimate venue. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't bring my drink with me to the bathroom. The security told me that I could put it down on the side and I asked if it would be safe and he said maybe....🤷‍♀️

What a magical place!! I haven’t had a meal there yet… I’ve visited this place just once for a party and I was so happy seeing the “cathedral” design. Very mysterious, vintage and magical. I loved it so much.

This place is unique, I was telling the bar tender about how we were liking the show of the day before and she was like "You guys come here every day?" hahah. Not every day but very often! Every day there is a different kind of show, different kind of public, and everyone is happy and friendly as they are often friends or supporters of the artists. No doubt best bar in downtown.

Really really liked the bar. The ambiance was great and will definitely be returning. Went there for a comedy show. The show was absolutely packed and the bar was full too.
