The overall experience was nice. My husband and I went out for our anniversary. Appetizer was really nice. The salads were small for the price and the entree was okay. Everything too so long that we didn't stay for the desert. Overall, nice experience but wouldn't go back.

Over-complicated and over-priced menu, topped off with a deeply unsettling atmosphere. It's also worth mentioning the undercurrent of managerial hostility, as evidenced by the assembly of angry little signs on the host desk, complete with a screed about being forced to charge a 4% fee that is retained entirely by the restaurant as restitution for the sheer outrage of having to pay their employees a state-mandated living wage. This complaint, by the way, is pretty rich considering the margins on their food. A cheese fondue is $26.95 on the menu, which yields a puddle of lukewarm cheese, some tasteless, semi-stale bread cubes, straight-out-of-the-bag broccoli, and a couple of morsels of Granny Smith apple (the "seasonal fresh fruit"). I'd put the cost of ingredients at, say, $5 to be generous? Surely you can afford to pay your staff - who also basically have to prepare the fondues in addition to serving them - a decent wage. The staff are courteous and professional but you can tell that they're unhappy and treated poorly. Everything about this place is terrible. The food is terrible. The prices are terrible. The atmosphere is terrible.

We have been to this location many times and usually have a great meal. Tonight we found a hair in my husbands salad and then we were served a rotten potato. Our waitress seemed stressed and very busy. She then told us that she had been working since 10am (it was now past 7pm) and she was supposed to be off around 4pm, but her manager told her to stay late. I felt bad for her. It was a disappointing experience overall. I donโ€™t think weโ€™ll be back.

Overall not bad, but truly not great. This is supposed to be a higher end meal and 4 out of 4 plates were completely chipped, glassware was chipped, not very great service either. Food was pretty good, no complaints about that! There is a surcharge for minimum wage, an added liquor tax that Iโ€™ve never seen and servers who hardly come back to the table. The lack of care for this place really shows. And the owner should probably check up on this location.

They were very understaffed when we visited. We had to wait a long time to be seated and to receive food. The food is fairly good and the experience is as well. It is on the pricier side and the menu is confusing. They also tag on a 5% fee to โ€œoffset costs due to the minimum wage increaseโ€.

Great atmosphere and a great food! Fun place to visit with a small group or fun couple dinner! It looks like there are a couple of banquet rooms for larger groups. Definitely recommend planning on more time than a normal dinner since you get to cook at the table in the fondue. Lots of choices for entrees, salads, and desserts.

Happy hour in the bar! It was quiet mid week and the bartender is a really cool guy, friendly. Alpine fondue was lovely with the included bread, fruit and veggies. The perfect appetizer for us. We will be back for one of their dinner specials!

Went here on April 4th 2022 for my Mom's birthday dinner. Our waitress was so very kind and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a wonderful experience there. They even brought out a "Happy Birthday!" Plate in chocolate writing and some chocolate covered strawberries on the plate with it. My Mom thought it was so cute! Everything we had was amazing! Even simple things like ceaser salad that you can get many other places tasted better here. The lettuce was crunchy and fresh, cheese and dressing tasted great, croutons weren't too hard, best salad I could ask for! The Italian soda was mixed just right and the milk chocolate with peanut butter fondue was to die for! I wish I could eat here regularly. Thank you again to our waiter and waitress, both extremely friendly and personable, who helped to make our night and my Mom's birthday one to remember!

I love eating here is a wonderful place for date nights for sure only thing is my new challenger got broken into and apparently only 1 person saw it that worked there mind you I was parked right in front valet and the police saw the people drive away but could not arrest or stop them without probable cause and no victim. Other then that food and dessert was AMAZING FOR SURE!

Great place for a ladies night. The drinks and hot pot were really good, just not filling. The desert portion was also delicious.

As we celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday at The Melting Pot, the experience proved to be nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped into the cozy ambiance to the last delectable bite, every detail at this culinary haven spoke volumes of celebration and warmth. The atmosphere was enchanting, with dim lighting casting a soft glow on the rustic yet modern decor. The intimate setting was perfect for creating memorable moments, and it felt like we had stepped into a fairy-tale setting tailored for our special occasion. Our journey into the world of fondue began with an extensive and mouth-watering menu that left us spoiled for choice. The server guided us through the options with expert knowledge, ensuring we felt confident in our selections. The variety of cheeses, fresh vegetables, and artisanal bread set the stage for a communal dining experience that brought everyone around the table together. The main course was a culinary adventure. The premium cuts of meat, seafood, and an array of dipping sauces allowed us to experiment with flavors and cooking styles. The hot pots bubbling with flavorful broths added an extra layer of excitement to the dining experience. We found ourselves engrossed in conversations, laughter, and the joy of creating our own personalized culinary masterpieces. However, the true star of the evening was the dessert fondue. As we dipped marshmallows, fruits, and cakes into the decadent chocolate fountain, it felt like a celebration of sweetness and joy. The presentation was not just a feast for the taste buds but also a visual delight, igniting the birthday candles on our hearts. The Melting Pot surpassed our expectations, not only with its exquisite menu but also with the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and demonstrated a genuine enthusiasm for making our celebration special. Our daughter was greeted with a delightful surprise, adding an extra layer of magic to her 10th birthday. In essence, The Melting Pot is more than a restaurant; it's an experience, a journey through flavors and a celebration of togetherness. As we left with full hearts and satisfied palates, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the memories created at this culinary gem. Thank you, Melting Pot, for turning a birthday celebration into an unforgettable symphony of taste and joy. We'll undoubtedly be returning for more celebrations in the future. Cheers to a year filled with fondue and happiness!

Would not recommend for the price point Very expensive for having to cook your own food, and the quality of food was mildly-decent, at best. Our server asked us several times if we were celebrating anything (a birthday and an engagement that had just happened that night) and not one of the many times she asked did she say happy birthday or congratulations. In fact, absolutely nothing special happened as a result of being asked that a half dozen times, so it was kind of insulting to be asked over and over. All in all I would not go back. For the price you could get the food and a fondue set for home. One of the 4 meats we tried was really good. And, um, the dessert fondue was decent. Not worth the cost for the "experience."

The food was ok. Flavors were average, though we kept it pretty basic. I was there with my kids and they did not like it. I don't think it's a good place for families really. I also don't think it is worth the price. I mean... I'm cooking my own food. Perhaps fondue just isn't for me. I'm sure others out there like it.

Expected the expense for the experience. Unfortunately, the deliverables weren't worth the cost. Our server was spread way too thin and winded. They couldn't tell us about the menu or the details. More importantly and disappointingly was the quality and quantity of the food. Perhaps the kitchen couldn't keep up either. 90 minutes later, we finally got into the main course. All this lands on the shoulders of The Melting Pot management for not anticipating a busy Saturday (Father's Day Weekend).

I LOVED IT! My God sister and I went for the bfff Wednesday event and we left so satisfied and stuffed! We did the 4 course meal and I was a little reluctant, I'm not a fan of boiled meat or hot pot and it was amazing, the meat was perfect and the sauces with the shrimp! And don't let me get started on the chocolate! The champagne was soo good and I HATE champagne, so so pleased. :) so worth it

Our first time and it was super tasty! Loved every minute! Yin and Yang Martini was soooo good. Like a milkshake!

The food is a waste of money, raw veggies and bread served for the cheese fondue, a very weird combination. The meat is very small morsel portions that you cook at your table with raw veggies again..huuuh. The best thing was the dessert, but the strawberries were wilted we did not touch those. You can't tell in the pic. Overall the service was pretty good.

My husband and I went to the melting pot in Tacoma for our 3rd wedding anniversary and we were both pleasantly surprised with everything we experienced. Our waiter was amazing, friendly, and informative. The overall food experience was so good and enjoyable. Great atmosphere and the booths provide a lot of privacy, at least where we were. The spinach and artichoke fondue cheese was so delicious and the chocolate fondue was our favorite part, so yummy! The melting pot made our anniversary dinner perfect. We look forward to going back and trying more of the menu. And I highly suggest the ying n yang martini!

We went on Father day, as the kids become young adults we are teaching them that food is an experience. The Melting Pot was that experience. Our server 'Nothing' was wonderful she walked through all the food and dish she was very attentive. The food was extraordinary. Please make reservations, make sure that you set aside about 2 or more, to enjoy the food ambiances

The Melting Pot offers a classic fondue experience that is very fun, especially for new customers. Itโ€™s engaging and entertaining, as well as incredibly yummy! The selection of cheese, entrees, style of cooking and desserts was outstanding. I would definitely return, but probably only for the chocolate fondue, as it is quite expensive for the entire experience ($115+ for 2 people vs. $24.99 for 2 people dessert only). The drink menu had a nice variety of options. I settled on the Pomegranate Cosmo and it was very good. My only complaint would be that while we were eating the staff prepped two tables directly behind and beside ours with a bleach spray cleaner that overwhelmed our environment completely. Overall it was a great evening out! Definitely make reservations and allow time to find parking. The restaurant offers a complimentary valet service, but it was full when we arrived approximately 15 minutes before our reservation.

We absolutely love The Melting Pot! We used to go every Valentine's Day before the pandemic. It was nice to finally get back there for my birthday. The food was awesome as usual and our server Taylor was just great! So friendly and attentive. All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only issue was that a few of our fondue sticks were dirty, that was taken care of immediately.

We love the food and dessert, really amazing. We were just not prepared for the delay in serving the dishes. But they apologized to us for the delay because the restaurant was at maximum capacity (amazing) they don't expect so many people on this day. But we'll come back other times, because we really like it.

Had a 3:30 pm reservation. No wait time to be seated and they were pretty empty. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I highly recommend the Land and Sea it was so good. Always a fun experience. By the time we last 6:30pm the place was packed.
