What the hell happened to hot topic. It used to be about grunge, and alternative. It was the store you went to if you wanted cool patches for your jacket, and to meet goth girls in fish nets. I was super excited to start a new jacket with some awesome patches and the first place I thought of was hot topic. Imagine my surprise when I walked through the door and found nothing but pink, anime, and bubble gum pop music... What the actual heck! Not cool bro! I couldn't even find good band shirts it was all hip hop artists I never heard of and cartoons.... I do not support this. I just want to go to a store that the cashier wears black lipstick and looks at me like a poser.

Yesterday I was just having a hard day an wanted to shop an the lady who rang me up tried to take my 2$ from what was left like ok ok it's just 2$ but the fact that you acted like you wrapped it up in the glove got me mad but thanks to the girl who fixed it

10/10, Don't Recommend. Really disappointed by the whole staff here. Most disappointing experience when it comes to HotTopic. They pretend to be nice and caring, but then they'll do a 180° on you, basically stab you in the back the second they don't agree with you.

I really like Hot Topic for their fun and quirky items they offer for sale. However, I was a little disappointed when I was looking for an item with a skull on it they really didn't have one. Also, their store is on the small side which I remember years ago was alot bigger. They used to be big competition for another store like theirs but no longer since they downsized. 😒

Definitely the place for edgy teens to find their people and the style they seek.

Well they still have some good t-shirts from good bands, only issue is they only go up to XL, so if you need a 2 XL or bigger you're out of luck.

Onyx treated my family with the upmost respect. They were professional, helpful, and pleasant to be around. The other employees were observant and available, but Onyx is the reason why we will shop at this location again.

In Trying to describe Hot topic what came to mind was it is the total opposite of Claire's like say Claire's and Hot topic were siblings. While Claire's is the bright 🌞 and sweet 🧁 sibling Hot topic is the darker 🌑 edgier one.

Staff is always very friendly and store is clean. Just sad that it's mostly overpriced anime merch now

This place is cool just be careful buying jewelry there. I would suggest not buying any here especially if you are sensitive to metal and jewelry. I'm talking from experience. I do like most everything else in the store.

It's a hot topic. Seem Like the same place as it did when opening years ago. Simple creepy awesome people trying to work while dumb people try and get more black items....... . . . . . . . . . . . . . Making sure I get top Google reviews and putting lots of information on here and hopefully people.......(you?)hit like on it.......

Very friendly staff, super helpful. They let my wife and I know which items were on sale, and what specials/ deals were active.

I ordered online for store pickup, was busy when I went over the weekend but the employee was very quick and helpful at the online order pickup area, very friendly staff and overall good shopping experience.

Normally, when you walk in, someone acknowledges that you entered, with either a simple "Hello", "Welcome", or some other greeting but I waited somewhere in the range of 10-15 minutes, nothing. I left the store for a moment, angry, but really wanted to find out the price on a few things and talked myself into going back in, again, nothing. While the beginning of this review is in regards to one bad visit, I would like to say that normally, this location is absolutely amazing. The reason for 4/5 stars with such a bad story is the recovery. Once I was acknowledged, I was not in a good mood at this point and was acting childish about it, but the girl who helped me did not get defensive and remained calm and even got me to calm down just by being calm about it. I will 100% go back again. If you're a fan of Hot Topic, I would recommend the Capital Mall location, hands down.

I miss the old Hot Topic. I do like anime merchandise, however we already have many places like that. I miss having a place where I could buy actual 2000's alt clothing. However, here are some things I got from there not too long ago. The Slipknot shirt is alright, but I really enjoy the shorts. Comfortable. I wish they still carried Tripp NYC pants. I totally miss that.

Store was packed but they were very helpful finding the kids what they wanted.

Had so much fun at hot topic and Luna our cashier was awesome! Can't wait to go back and get gifts for the family.

The customer service wasn't very good their selection was very small the prices were very high. I would definitely check recommend checking out a different earring store if you're in the market for some.

Love to come here with my family, my sons collect funko-pops, and they have a great variety. The young man working, greeted us upon walking in to the front door and was very helpful and extremely courteous. The store has a great layout as my son is in a wheelchair and he has freedom of movement in and around the store. GREAT PLACE, GREAT VIBES AND PROFESSIONAL AND GREAT PEOPLE.

The staff was helpful. I was getting a shirt for my son and the only one his size was the display. The person who helped me had no problem changing the display so I could get the shirt. It was also well organized there even for it being almost closing time.

I purchased a few items and everyone working there was very nice ❤️ I got help finding some chokers and all of it was overall amazing (as usual) <3
