A very nice park in North Omaha on Florence Boulevard cross street Pinkney Street. It has a baseball diamond a basketball Court any tennis court any large playground for kids to play on. This was at one time the Midwest Expo location back to the early 1900s. At that time the neighborhood was just Dynamite. The only bad thing about it is Florence Boulevard runs through the middle of it and the boulevard runs all the way through North Omaha.

A fun and important place for kids, families and the neighborhood today, the Kountze Park has long been an important place for ALL of Omaha. As the historic location of the 1898 Trans-Mississippi Exposition, there's no other place like it in the city. I suggest visiting the three historic markers and the commemorative gazebo built to remember the expo as well as enjoying the fun activities and more!

Simple park, has small splash park in summer. Great for the near by children. Basketball courts and a small pavilion. Could use a little improvement.
