Carter Lake Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 The lake was AMAZING. It was really hot out, but we found a perfect shady spot under a beautiful tree. Sat out in our chairs and had some cool adult beverages. There was a constant breeze the whole time we were there. We met some nice people and shared some knowledge with them. Happy Juneteenth. ❤️... People often mention park, lake, nice, boat,

Nice little park area, the view is nice, lots of people come here to fish. Best times are late evening after sundown and early in the morning before sunrise. Lots of catfish out there. Had a few bites while we were there fishing, but we were out in the afternoon. There's a park area nearby that's a great place to take the kids. There's also a parking lot across the street from the shoreline that's a nice place to park to either go for a walk or go fishing.

Beautiful park, with nice lake in the center of the city. But biggest problem is the people are dumping garbage everywhere. Lots of broken glass and empty alcohol bottles

Nice place for the kids to play. All though I would never leave my children alone at the park so, be safe. The world 🌎 is crazy. SUNDAY NIGHT ISN'T A GOOD TIME TO HAVE FAMILY NIGHT AT THE CARTER LAKE PARK. These pictures was taken during the day on a week day.

This park is dirty with glass everywhere, it’s not safe for children even though it’s designed for them. The city should take responsibility of keeping the parks safe. Make it a priority.

Another Omaha park that's not taken care of as well as others. The lake for fishing is good. The playground is always packed because the equipment is great. The spray ground leaves something to be desired. However, it is very trashy in that area as well and the one Porta potty has a broken door.

Took our boat out on the water and had a decent time. The water level is down due to not enough rain and was pretty consistent at 1-4 all across the lake. The boat ramp near the airport is "sketchy" and has a large drop off making it nearly impossible to launch a boat from. The other park boat launch was also "sketchy" and required a unique approach to launch a boat from.

I grew up down here and i live around here now as an adult as well. Its an okay little place to visit but like any neighborhood it to has its issues, cuz of some of the people that have moved into it. But the park itself us very pretty place to visit & the upkeep on the place is been done well. The parks and the lake is clean and well maintained. And very family oriented.

Its ok as long as there isn't a dead body in there. I just heard the horror story from my friends finding a human finger in the lake.

The kids were on the play ground fighting each other. The women were oddly shaped and rude and the cars were dusty. Had some bomb drinks tho. I'll be back next week.

Good scenery overall, with parking all around the lake. Good for fishing, boating, playground, outdoor cooking and more! Could use more BBQ grills and pavilions for shade, but I've had literally dozens of memories here over the last 30+ years!

The splash pad isn't working and the porta potties can be questionable. Otherwise the playground is nice and there's a swimming area.
