This place is phenomenal. Mexican seafood at it's finest. Definitely not the typical dishes you find at most Mexican restaurants. Even has a full sushi bar and ice cream Station. I have been here twice now and always had great service. I'll definitely be back.

I had always seen the listing for them on door dash, which made me want to go instead! I finally got a chance, and it was on a Saturday night at 630PM, prime dinner time! We ended up deciding on Isla del Mar after finding it too busy to eat downtown. There was a wait, but it was only about 15 min, and it was busy! There was a live merriachi band playing in the restaurant. First time I had seen one. It was cool. It feels busy, but the good kind of busy. The food was amazing. I took home everything I couldn't eat. The menu is so long, something for everyone, even my picky eater, and the prices are fair for the atmosphere and quality for sure! The cevechie I had was amazing, with cooked shrimp, but I couldn't remember which one there were many options. The sushi boat option saved me 3 dollars on my rolls, and I got more!

Loved this place! Only 4 stars because I haven't tried all the seafood dishes. I had marlin tacos, my mom had a very filling birria taco for the first time and we split a tempura roll called the Crazy Jalapeno. The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful. The rice was so good! Not dry at all. We had mango margaritas which were also delicious. The decor is festive and matches what they are good at....seafood. I'll definitely return before I leave town.

We came on a Saturday evening and it was packed but we were still seated almost instantly upon entering, and the beautiful display of pastries near the entrance kept us enthralled for the short wait. The menu has an extremely broad selection with Spanish and English translations to ensure everyone gets something they like! We were even able to have virgin versions of their signature cocktails! The food came out extremely quick too and was nice and cheesy! It's likely you'll be packing a to-go tin!

My first time visiting. Drinks are fantastic. Had a well crafted Margarita on the rocks. Dinner was the Manta Ray Enchiladas. If you like a fishy taste you'll love that one. The extent of the menu is nothing short of amazing in it's variety of dishes . The wife really loved the Crab Enchiladas. Only down side for me was the volume of the music was a little too loud and our group had a very difficult time communicating with each other. All in all, i highly recommend this venue for your next dinner adventure.

At first the customer service was so-so and the open and bright atmostphere was off putting but we decided to stay and the drinks were delicious (and strong), sushi better than the well known restaurants here in Omaha & the deserts too were tasty. The menu is large and diverse. You'll find something you like. You MUST try this place! You'll love it. ❤️

When I first walked in, I was a bit taken back because I originally expected a straight-up seafood restaurant but instead found it to be a mix of seafood and Mexican, albeit it was a pleasant surprise. There's live music and a robotic mascot that makes an appearance to greet people on certain occasions as well. All the staff were friendly. The only thing I did not find accommodating was the front desk waiting area to be quite small. When it gets busy, it can feel like being packed in like sardines for the first few moments. Lovely place nevertheless.

Awesome restaurant! The environment, service, and food were great! Margaritas were delicious! There was live music and overall my family enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be back!

This place is AMAZING! The food is incredible! It's a casual and clean colorful bright exciting place! They have the best seafood, the sushi is divine! And they have amazing baked goods too. A full bar and lots of comfortable tables and booths to sit and relax and enjoy your meal. One of my favorite South Omaha Eateries!

Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Ordered the fajitas, flan and sushi. Let's just say the flanbis to die for! It has the most delish flavors to run across your palette! Fajitas are fresh and the portions are just right! Sushi is great and priced better that other places in the metro. Overall restaurant to clean! Stop in and give this place a try!

I tried Isla del Mar and was pleased. The restaurant painted with vibrant colors depicting the ocean. It was busy but our waitress was knowledgeable and helped us pick food that was delicious. We had the shrimp empanadas and the cooked shrimp ceviche. The Apple martini tasted just like an apple. I will return to see what else pleases my palate.

Elia was my serve at Isla today, she’s great, the food was fantastic and the service was equally excellent. I highly recommend Isla Del Mar if seafood is in your mind and your pallet only takes great tasting foods. Try the sushi, I challenge you to try it and tell me Isla or Blue for great sushi.

Best sushi in town! Some of the best coastal Mexican food you can get! Very highly recommended!

Saying this place is amazing is an understatement. The food was great and although the place was busy when we came in, it didn’t take too long to receive our orders. Love how there is something for everyone on the menu! My kids are picky, so I am glad there were some great kid choices available! Our server Melvin was super helpful with the menu, and definitely made us feel welcomed. Hope to be back soon!

I had a great experience! This was my first time at Isla Del Mar and I was eager to try the food. We decided to ask our waiter for recommendations and I am glad we did. Melvin was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended great choices that my family and I enjoyed. The ceviche mix was definitely memorable! Loved this place❤️.

Best guacamole I've ever had! Delicious sushi and mango aqua fresco! We came on a night where there was live music which was too loud and we couldn't have a conversation. Despite that we will def be back when there is no band playing to enjoy more delicious food from here.
