Great place to see the city and the valley from up high. Really great find, and a must do. While you can drive up there, I'd recommend, if you're in reasonably fair shape, walking. It's a mile from the city center and it's a pleasant (though steep) walk up a quiet street with beautiful houses. There's a restaurant at the top and very beautiful views on a good day. Some refurb work going on, but doesn't detract from the place at all

Very impressive for whole city view. I visited at day time. I wish I knew this place the night we arrived. Must be very nice during the night. Easy to park in front of the the restaurant at afternoon though. I think it's a must visit as the first time in Oradea.

The view of Oradea is nice but since the jewels of the city (the art nouveau architecture) are best explored close up and Oradea doesn't have much of a skyline the whole experience isn't as stunning as you might hope. A bit sad to see the state of disrepair setting in so shortly after the completion of the place though.

If you're visiting Oradea and you want to see the city from above, Ciuperca is the right place.
