The historical centre of the city is getting all the attention from City Hall and they managed to attract European Structural Funds. It's an important step for this city but they are a long way from a stable economical environment and it will take very long time with a lot of radical changes in order to achieve that. See you next in 5 years, good luck and keep up the good work.

An impressive , historical Palace , on main street Oradea . Did not visit the interior but the exterior si beautiful and most of all accurately renovated . All citizens of Oradea are proud of it ! An archtectural jewel ! The imposing building was commissionned and built in 1900 , with a sompuous and rich decoration ( interior and exterior ) Some of the important symbols would be : The Tree of Life , Gods and Goddesses etc Recently renovated and integrated in the international circuit . Worth looking at it for several minutes !

(Translated by Google) The architectural ensemble of the pedestrian center can be seen as an eloquent historical site for the richness of artistic information, which circulated in Oradea at the beginning of the 20th century. The facades associate romantic, gothic, renaissance elements with decorative forms of vegetal, zoomorphic or anthropomorphic inspiration. Columns, consoles, frames, other reliefs, twisted belts, heads, railings, geometric or floral motifs, make up a sumptuous decor specific to the eclectic style and Art of the 1900s. In the middle of the pedestrian center stands the towering Moskovits Palace, like an imposing guard watching over the whole building. It is also known as the Moskovits Miksa Palace. The building is one of the most beautiful examples of the Secession style, in its various ways of expression. The Secession münchenz or Lilienstil features (as it was known) of the building are highlighted by the undulating path, with an exclusively sinusoidal line, visible in most elements of the architectural decoration. Of an overflowing beauty and complexity, it was built according to the sketches of the architect Rimanóczy Kálmán Jr, between 1904-1905. For the first time in Oradea, prefabricated slabs were used for the resistance structure. It was built at the request of the engineer Moskovits Miksa, who also lived here. He bought the land in 1904, for which he paid 52,000 crowns. The palace is located at the intersection of 3 streets, flanked by two "guards", the Apollo Palace and the Stern Palace. The two buildings were built in the same Secession style, between 1900-1914. All three were built as a report building, organized around an inner courtyard, with commercial spaces on the ground floor and apartments for rent on the first floor.
