This is one of the best museum experiences I've had thus far in Romania and it's comparable to any high tier museum of this kind in Europe. The restoration is unbelievable and gives hope that with time many such sights in Oradea and elsewhere in the country will regain their to former beauty. The building itself is worth seeing by itself, the art nouveau artefacts are exquisite, the curation is impeccable and the you get plenty of info on everything. The staff are professional and very friendly and you can take as many pictures as you wish.

It’s definitely worth a visit if you have 2 or 3 days in the city. The location is convenient, basically in the city center. The ticket price is around 2 EUR. A normal visit should take around 1 hour.

If you have any interest to see one of rich Jewish family's house, visit and enjoy the interior..it is kind of small house. But you can see the intergraty of many cultures. There are a lot about lady's fashion and jewelry. Females have a lot to enjoy.

Darvas La Roche, one of the most beautiful and elegant homes at the beginning of the 20th century is today the first Art Nouveau museum in Romania. They had a nature theme going throughout the house that added wonderful whimsy, with flowers and mosses, to the already beautiful interior. I loved it so much it made me want to cry. We really enjoyed the immersive experience in the former children bedroom/playroom as well as the little 20th century attire and accessories exhibit in the cellar. Beautifully done. ❤️

I was impressed with the house. The architecture is splendid, it has beautiful spaces like round windows, patio, balconies and amazing glass work. The furniture is very authentic, elegant and in a great condition. The whole house made me travel back in time and to wish I was living here in another epoch. The digital production is maybe out of it's place but I didn't bother it. It takes you back to modern times. Totally with visiting. The entrance fee is 10 lei.

Exquisite museum, a must see in Oradea. The Art Nouveau interiors are marvelous, they transport you to another era. I was especially impressed with the interactive informative panel in the ticket office. When touching the illustrations, they come to life and provide information on Oradea's history and the Art Nouveau movement.

One of the most incredible houses I've seen. I had few ideas about art nouveau before, but the ladies there explained a lot about this style and history of the house. Do not miss this one if you are visiting Oradea

Amazing place with a nice architecture. The admission fee is 10 ron/pers. There is also a souvenir shop from where you purchase the ticket. The house is not imense and you can easily get guided by yourself but it would be nice if the people that are working there to be more engaging and guide you through. There is a room with 3 projectors that are projecting some sort of an animation, however, I did not umderstand the purpose of it. What I liked the most was the terrace upstairs and the men's room. All the other things were interesting to see and how they lived during that times.

I visited this house today (23/11/21). It was absolutely amazing. Such wonderful exhibits, the rooms set out as they were in the days when the hose was lived in. The special projection in a separate room was terrific. I would recommend anyone visiting Oradea to make a point of coming here a must.
