Nice forest. Compared to the trail across the river from it, it’s more compact rather than long. It has one good hill, but other than that I wouldn’t recommend for biking unless you are fine with lots of tree roots and bumpy patches. Lots of little spots to see

Nice gem of a little park. Easy 45-60 minute hike/snowshoe around the perimeter.

A quiet off leash dog park, very green, full of tall gorgeous trees. The pathways interweave but you can feel secluded and alone. I discovered it today and I am sure I will be coming back again and again. Although there are other dog parks around, this one is my favourite.

Today the first time I explored this park. I am surprised by its beautiful nature, fresh air and pleasing trail... amazing. The Jock River flows along the west to south area of the park, eventually merges to Rideau River. You can enjoy the rapids here. The opposite side of the river is the long Stonebridge Trail. There's no specific parking lot. So just pull over at the curb of the park entrance. Please note, the end of Woodroffe is privacy driveway, so if you reach it, you need to make a U turn then soon you will see the park entrance.

Leashed dogs allowed on trail. It’s actually a loop trail on the left portion. With other mini off trails on both ends. Neither of which cross the overpass. A garbage bin and outhouse would be a nice addition. And a bench.

Beautiful walking path right by the water. Some of it is stroller friendly. Surround your self in nature.

👍👍 Best off-leash dog park in the area. Massive open space with some seating plus a huge amount of trails to explore. There is even a rainbow bridge to post your lost pup's tag which always brings tears to our eyes.
