This location is the exact opposite of fast food. It took over 20 minutes at the drive-through just to make it to the window. Then another 4 minutes at the window waiting for them to prepare my order. Which ended up being completely wrong. Why offer the option to customize an order if no one reads the ticket? Won't be going to this location again. #localguide

What a disaster! We went through the drive through around 3pm today (Saturday, 11/04/23) Afteer waiting in line in the drive through for 20 minutes (not an exaggeration) we finally got to the first window, paid for our meals, and then waited again for the cars ahead of us to clear the second window. The buns were soggy, and the fries were cold. I parked the car, went into the restaurant to complain and asked for hot fries. The restaurant was filled with people at the cash register waiting for their meals. Everyone looked frustrated, and the staff on duty appeared bored and disconnected from the situation. The young guy at the cash threw out my fries, and replaced them with more lukewarm fries. I left in disgust. I suppose I should have known better than to have visited this location, we've had bad service in the past, but we were shopping in the area and simply wanted to grab something on the go. Avoid this location at all costs. It SUCKS!!

Disappointed... we had family take out at the drive thru and when I brought it home for the family, we were missing a medium fry and a double cheese burger had magically turned into a sparsely dressed single cheese burger. It took a very long time in the drive thru (over 20 minutes). I understand if they are busy but you can be slow as long as the order is correct and the food is perfect. Over all, too expensive since we didn't get our food that we paid for... we won't be going back to Wendy's... not for the time, money and disappointment.

usually this location is okay but today was my worst experience at a wendys ever. When I walked in the drive thru was not that full and the line inside the restaurant was not that packed either. It took about 25 minutes to get food. It appeared that every single customer in front of me had some kind of issue with their order. When I received my food and went to the drink machine, every option was greyed out except "sugar free" and "diet". I waited at the counter again to ask if they could poor me one behind the counter and explained that I did not want a diet drink and asked for a normal root beer. I received a diet root beer and the clerks disappeared into the back again. I just gave up and got my drink elsewhere.

Compare to my last Wendy's experience this was a nightmare. Waited 25 mins for nuggets and fries and the staff seemed not interested in taking care of business. The washrooms were filthy and dining tables were sticky and unclean. This place definitely needs an improvement in service.

I hadn't eaten at a Wendy's for a couple of decades . They were a good chain when they originally opened but today's experience will probably lead me to other fast food chains for the next decade. There were about a dozen employees behind the counter and not only did my order take at least ten minutes to get ready, they all appeared very unorganized and carefree. The fries were good but my sandwich was just so-so. For the prices charged here there are much better choices for fast food + service. 3 stars is a generous rating.

Food service was slow and drinks weren't great. Staff member taking cash ended up preparing my wifes meal without cleaning his hands between cash and food prep, he seemed new so perhaps training is inadequate as he seemed to be trying to help. Overall I got the impression staff are undertrained and management isn't helping much. Would not be keen to return

The service was absolutely deplorable. There was a growing line up, and not one employee even came to the counter to take an order, much less inform people of a delay in service. The garbage bin was overflowing, the bathroom was dirty, and the tables were sticky and looked like they hadn't been wiped down all day.

I just had a large Frosty. So creamy, thick and delicious. Not too sweet. Remember you need a spoon to eat it! Too thick for a straw.

We stopped here for a rushed lunch as we toured Ottawa. I got a baconator. And while Wendy's is good, it is not the first place I would want to go to. The food was acceptable. The service was very fast. The atmosphere in there is nice on the outside, but then on the inside, it is dirty. I give this specific Wendy's a 63%.

Couldn't get my order right. Forgot food. Messed up my order, that I had CLEARLY written down. Messed up the drinks. Everything is only good for the trash can. And still got annoyed when correcting them on my order.

No one ahead of us to order when we arrived, weren't acknowledged/weren't greeted. Staff appeared to be filling 2 previous orders. Weren't told someone would be us shortly. Weren't spoken to, guy just went to cash and looked at me. Watched staff fill orders, watching one being put in a bag, but the staff never called out an order, just moved on to the next. I also had to ask for my receipt but they couldnt find it. After 3-4 minutes, I inquired about the order in the bag. Staff looked confused. There were shrugs of shoulders and then finally the bag was pushed forward to us. I double checked my husband's food-he ordered a plain burger. It was ok. After getting home I realized I should have checked my order. I asked for Grilled Chicken and got battered chicken. Very dissatisfied with the service and our order sitting there and then just being pushed toward us. Will not go to this location again.

Slow, rude staff, missed food items, AND pubic hair on fries 🤢 never going back

Today felt like the rookies were on shift. They made the nachos first and then everything else took some time. The chicken inside the wrap was not crispy, spicy with mayo, as ordered, but plain with ranch. By the time this was rectified, the nachos were soggy. Just a bit unpleasant overall I've been to this Wendy's before and had great service and a great meal.

I was a regular customer.. and they lost me today , my card got declined, but I got charged. I used another card to pay and I got charged successfully. I checked my bank account while waiting for my food and I got charged on my card that got declined and my bank card. I showed them this right there when it happened and they said they can't issue a refund because on their system it says I got declined so they can't issue refund based on that. Like I understand but also if I stole $15 from your till you'd either kick me, ban me, or call the cops and press charges. Meanwhile you can just do that to me? You're the corporation with money, I'm sure you can handle refunding $15 with my receipts and it literally happened before your very own eyes. C'mon .. you do this to a customer you see often?? Why?

Worst Wendy’s establishment in the City/Canada. In all honesty the Health inspector should be called. Also maybe a rehiring because this location is the worst I’ve been to throughout Canada. Do NOT WASTE your time coming here, you’ll be stuck in the drive through for a literal hour.

This has to be one of the worst locations in Ottawa, you'll be left waiting and waiting or not be served at all while the staff stares at you from the back, I've gone in and been completely ignored standing at the counter, and as for drive through, i got to the location at 6:02 Saturday night, no one said anything over the speaker (it was drive through) until i had to ask if anyone was there only to be told to wait a minute, eventually we ordered, the staff hung around the drive through window and didn't bother letting us know it would be a while (the parking lost was empty and only one person behind me so i'm assuming it was uber eats orders) until i was finally able to make eye contact with one of the staff we didn't end up leaving until 6:33 and didn't even have our whole order which was only one a burger combo and an order of fries.. don't go there during the evening, it's like this every time i go.

Never again here for sure, drive though was terrible, customer service level is bellow zero, food was cold including French fries, order taking seemed liked he really does not want to be taking orders . What else can I say this site not to be used should shut down or get a better management, manager did changed my fries but really seemed she could not manage her staff, had to pull one guy to work at the back while I waited and watched. Terrible store

Took the drive through and it was very busy at lunch, but very fast. Service was more than friendly. It’s great to hear good positive attitude over the speakers and great greeting at the window.

This is absolutely abysmal "nachos" I was just sent.. a pile of cold, disgusting mush. Avoid this place and the useless children they have working there.
