Glad we checked this place out. They have a bunch of different options, even for vegans or dairy sensitive people. I had the vegan poutine and it was delicious, honestly couldn't tell the cheese wasn't real cheese. Also the gravy was good. Service was good too, fries were fresh. I have no complaints!

Love Golden Fries! Hands down the best specialty poutines in Ottawa. The service is always so friendly and the food is amazing.

Well since we live here now - we gotta try the famous Golden Fries right? Officially open for the season, we stopped by Sunday afternoon for a little mid-shopping treat. Located in the parking lot of Metro - there was a ton of free spots even with most of the parking lot still covered in ice. *Crispy fries *lighter coloured but thick gravy *they pack it in - so much poutine in even just our regular sized (we shared!) *is there such thing as TOO many curds? I felt like I wanted more fries, but that’s just my personal preference - most people would be over the moon at just how many curds were jammed into this poutine! Two pogos, a canned drink, and a regular poutine cost about $17 plus we tipped on top of that. They accept cash, credit & debit. No where to sit but in the car right now, but that may be different once it’s no longer winter ;) Their menu is pretty extensive so we will be back to try something else, just this time we had to go classic! #poutinekings

OMG the poutine is a family size and talk about heavy 😳 wow they do not skimp on the cheese! It was delicious. Then the chicken parm burger, you NEED this in your life, I am speechless, it was amazing, it could have used a bit more sauce but other then that it was perfection.

We attended the Orleans Poutine Fest and Golden Fries was the one recommended. So, naturally we went there. It was close to closing time so the line moved quickly and the service was exceptional! Super friendly. Let me tell you their traditional poutine did not disappoint! The fries were crispy and hot. The cheese and gravy were plentiful — all around delicious! Worth the stop. Attached is a picture which we know isn’t pretty but it’s deliciously pretty on your taste buds.

We booked the Golden Fries catering truck to come to our place of work as part of our staff appreciation month, and it could not have gone better. We're an organization that services a broad range of individuals with developmental disabilities, so it was a great opportunity to bring our staff and clients together. The feedback from everyone was that the fries were perfectly crispy, the gravy was delicious, and that the Golden Fries team was really great to work with. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to liven up an event or show some appreciation towards their staff. We paid for 150 orders of fries or poutine with beverages and the price was competitive and beyond reasonable given the amazing quality of everything. Often staff were coming up and ordering in bulk for all their clients or their team, 5-10 orders at a time, and the Golden Fries truck was able to keep pace while making sure the line continued to move quickly. I'm really looking forward to the next time I happen across Golden Fries and will absolutely be booking them again in the future. Much love, thanks again.

Love love love this place. Been touring the food trucks in the east end and so far this is our fave. The serving sizes are great and the prices can't be beat. I also love their compostable forks, they have a much nicer texture than those wooden ones.

We got the Golden Fries truck to come to our staff event this past summer and I cannot recommend them enough! Jade was quick and responsive in all of our emails. They showed up early the day of to set up and be ready for when staff arrived. The service was quick, and kept the line moving quickly. The food however was the best part, and had the entire office talking about it for days later! Tasty, reasonably priced, friendly staff, and excellent customer service. Check this place out!

Staff was great and the poutine was delicious, we'll certainly be back. Well worth the drive getting there. Only complaint is the honey mustard for the Pogo which was Heinz instead of French's but I used their French's classic yellow mustard instead.

Great customer service, & good food depending on what you order. The fish & chips isn't very good but the sausage is good. Burgers & poutine are good as well.

I visited for the first time last week and again today because it was that good. Best poutine hands down. Loads of curd and the large is a meal for two. I don't usually cary cash anymore but takes 30 seconds to order online and pay with cc.

Daughter loved the fish. Said she'd prefer 2 fish and no fries it was so good. Had the chicken parm sandwich and fries. Deep fried curds were not my favorite, but enjoyed every regardless. Will be back.
