Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 Great off leash dog park! They recently cleared out the lower branches of a bunch of trees at the north end, making the park much more open and easy to navigate while still leaving the trees in place. People often mention park, kids, Great, leash, winter, dogs, sledding,

Good hills for young family toboganning in winter, but it is a dog-friendly park so keep an eye out for pooches on the loose. If your dog doesn't like to get other dogs you might choose another place to walk. It's a nice deep crater for loose dogs and there are usually 4 sets of trash/ recycling bins around the park.

This is a park that is definitely enjoyable year round. There is a playground complete with a swing set (big and small kids), and a jungle gym. There is a large off leash dog park that doubles as a tobogganing hill in the winter. There is a pathway around the upper perimeter of the "crater" and the park has several pathways that lead into the neighborhood.

The play area isn't that big, however, it is still a good park. The field is huge and the tall trees are really beautiful. Lots of people walk their dogs here so it's a nice place to bring the kids and dog so they can all have fun. Great place to go sledding. Not super huge, so great for younger kids but not super small so older kids can also enjoy it.

Beautiful place to walk the dog year round or go sledding in the winter. It would be nice if the city of ottawa parks and recreation weren't such dinguses with their signs and garbage games and wish they would plow the paths

Small yet unique circle park with a huge crater in the middle. Great for dogs, kids, and people who enjoy walking in circles.

Great place to go sledding with the kids. There's so much hill width, you won't be crowded with others.

I never thought I'd get into the business of rating parks, but then I went and had a child. Crater was our saving grace during the lockdowns of the past year. It's a massive off leash dog park, a huge, gorgeous green space, and it has a great small playground and swings. Beautiful for a lunch walk or after work play dates!

Great for sledding and for a stroll. Generally safe for small kids to sled down the hill.

I go there almost everyday, it's very fun! The only annoying part is that they remove the trash can at the back of the park during winter.

Very safe place for winter sledding as long as you are comfortable with dogs. It's an off leash dog park too.

This is the best place to go sledding with kids. They absolutely love it and if they need a break from the sleddinf there's a nice park right beside.

Friendly people with dogs invited my new puppy to playgroups. Nice hills for tobogganing being used by kids on field trip. Small playground at one end.

Used to go here as a kid for the park, snow sliding and many other young teenage life things! Still as awesome as it used to be! Brought the kids for an afternoon of sliding and they had a blast! We will be back!

I had the pleasure of meeting plenty of kind and respectful dog owners. I highly recommend it to walk your dog off leash.

👍👍 Best off-leash dog park in the area. Massive open space with some seating plus a huge amount of trails to explore. There is even a rainbow bridge to post your lost pup's tag which always brings tears to our eyes.
