We ordered the Ribs and they were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. Debbie and Laura were amazing and definitely added a personal touch to our dining experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you Baton Rouge!

I was there recently and the food was great! I had the lobster with steak. For the 50+, I would expect lots of fries, as there weren’t a lot in the plate. Steak was a bit tough too. It takes a while to get refill. The atmosphere and service was great, and the food too, despite some issues mentioned above. My wife loved her ribs.

The staff are really friendly and the ambiance is great. The food is good but the prices a bit steep. But then again you pay for the ambiance. The staff is quite attentive and accommodating. I was disappointed that they don't have any veggie burger option anymore.

We made a reservation for 20 people well in advance. When we arrived, the restaurant had us seated at 3 booths and one table completely apart from each other. This defeated the entire purpose of having a family reunion and was an extremely disappointing start to the evening. The food was very poor quality. The portions were small and didn't have any quality or flavour. The edges of my order were burnt and the middle was raw. I agree with the other review that this place has been declining. Baton Rouge used to be a favorite but it has been nothing but a complete disappointment the last few visits. None of our meals arrived together. My sister-in-law's steak was cold and she had to send it back. Even when they brought out another one, it was still cold. The worst part was that they double and triple charged for the plates we ordered. It was a rip off to say the least. I would avoid this restaurant if you're looking for an enjoyable quality meal.

Went there as a group we order bunch of things from Steak to Ribs to Sandwiches along with lots of drinks Overall food was great, but bit pricey though. Service was great, guy was checking in regularly & explained different steak options they have nicely.

It has been a very long time since we visited Baton Rouge! Service was super friendly and accommodating but food was so so We started with fried shrimp that was tasty and good but our mains were so so.. I got the tuna bowl, they put wild rice pilaf instead of the sushi rice which doesn’t fit well. Hubby got the salmon it didn’t have a lot of flavour and my daughter got the steak which was the best dish on the table!

In general, it's a good place to have a dinner with family or friends. The place was pretty busy when we came, and the service was good but not fast on that evening. On the menu burgers, sandwiches, salads, grills and pasta. Prices are between 25-47.

Baton Rouge has consistently excelled with both their food (especially grilled menu items) and service. The restaurant's decor creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, is inviting and clean. I definitely recommend the ribs here, the sauce is so well balanced, both smoky, sweet and salty and caramelized to perfection. The fries are shoestring and are lightly tossed in salt and pepper and come piping hot. I also had a ceasar which is not pictured. The ceasar was a bit too spicy for me and came with a celery stalk which was a bit too tough and not the freshest. Could definitely be improved but I'm still giving 5* for the excellent experience.

The restaurant was above and beyond. On entrance the decor is cozy and elegant. The red and wood were just right with the lights. The crowd were on their 30’s and above. The waiters were very nice and friendly, our waitress was Britney. She was amazing and her advices were so good and knowledgeable. Every detail, every salsa and her choices were delicious. The variety of food was big. Those are some of the dishes that we ordered. We loved it. And will be one of our favourite places. By the way, don’t hesitate to give them a call and book a table, even if the website shows that it’s fully booked. They will find you a spot for your party.

We have been to Baton Rouge before and always enjoy the atmosphere, food, drink and service. Our appetizer was the calamari and which was delicious, but this time a bit less in quantity. C'mon, if you're going to Baton Rouge you're going for the ribs. Never dissatisfied. Our server tonight was Baltazar. He was attentive, patient and ready to serve. He took the time to chat with us after we paid our bill, which is rare. We didn't feel rushed to leave, even considering it was a Friday night at 7 pm. Thanks for everything.

I got the half tuna tartare, house salad, fries and the white sangria. The food and drink was absolutely amazing! I took off a star because there were a couple minor issues throughout our dinner, however overall it was fantastic and I would definitely go back and would recommend!!!

Kendra was very friendly and provided excellent service. She went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our meal was enjoyable. I will definitely come back!

Introduced to this restaurant by our friends and will return. We were met with a friendly smile and taken to our friends table. Staff are extremely friendly and the meal was very good. We were there for dinner and it was crowded but there was no delay in getting our drinks or meal. The ribs fall off the bone, the chicken was moist. A lot of people say there's something wrong with baton rouge, but i think it's perfect, every single time i go here, it's delicious! great service, food and atmosphere.

Excellent meal here tonight. Service was top notch, ribs and burgers are really really good. We were supposed to eat somewhere else tonight and it fell through so, we figured we would try this place instead because it was next door to the hotel. We were not disappointed at all. Next time in Ottawa, this will be our 1st choice. It's a great place to bring a kid too. Our 4 yr old loved the whole experience. Well done Baton Rouge!

It's an OK place, which given the price tag is kind of sad. A bit too noisy (maybe because of the room layout?). Food is fine, but again - for the price "fine" is not what I expect. The place was busy when we were there and service did their best and it showed, so no complaints. Personally I don't think I'll be coming back, but if you haven't had a chance to visit - have a try. You may like the place and think I'm too spoiled.

Ribs! Went for my birthday dinner back in September and my cravings were satisfied. We all ordered ribs and chicken and there was nothing left over!

Very quick and friendly service! We ordered appetizers, the cauliflower bites, and spinach dip. Both had a fair amount and perfect for a trouble of four to five people. For the main course we ordered steak and the tomato gnocchi. The service was very friendly and atmosphere was a great family environment!

Had a wonderful experience. The menu has an excellent variety of options. Great tasting food; all 4 meals were enjoyable. We got so much value for our money;portion size vs price. Actually, two people can comfortably share one meal. We got a complimentary birthday cake for my husband. The ambience was really nice. The entire establishment was very clean and the bathrooms were clean and well supplied. Our experience was enhanced by the helpful and friendly staff; Alex, Heather, Hailey and off course everyone else behind the scenes including the chefs. *It helps of you make a reservation in advance as the place can be quit busy. *Loved that it's in close proximity to other entertainment outlets and shopping stores such as Landmark Theaters and Walmart. *I remembered to take photos halfway into our meal so kinda gives you a glimpse of the portion sizes.

We come by holiday season Thursdays night , was pretty busy , make sure you come early food come Out a little bit late than usual , service good , receipt made a mistake , but fixed it right away. Steak have a lot of tendons ，is average. But the burger was good .

Had New Years dinner. We were accommodated despite not having a reservation. Higher end setting with a fine dining feel. Friendly and fast service. Very delicious and enjoyable. Dinner with full rack of ribs and chicken was $34, seafood pasta also $34. Reasonable price for the portion size and the atmosphere! Only drawbacks: No French onion soup which we were excited for (they said they no longer carry it). Ribs were not hot but they corrected it very quick and were apologetic. Will return if we are in Kanata again.

Tried their seafood tower, the lobster & ribs are really nice. The chicken burger is juicy and tasty. Service is a bit slow but friendly.

Our waiter Baldassare was a great server! I appreciated his kindness and he went the extra mile to ensure that we were happy with our meal and pleased with the service! I would definitely recommend!

Kate and Ella were fantastic servers.. very clean table and comfortable benches for our booth .. food was fantastic .. chicken and ribs awesome.. kids spaghetti was not saucy enough and kind of watery .. other than that great experience!!! We will be back !!

We came to Baton Rouge from another restaurant with baby as the previous place did not have a baby chair. We had a stressful dinner and went to Baton Rouge for desserts and kids meal. The whole team and our server were hospitable, kind and accommodating. The kid’s meal came fast, and our toddler enjoyed it! Deserts were super fresh and we finally enjoyed our bday celebration and Canada Day! Thank you for your hospitality💖

Went out to dinner with my daughter for her birthday. She had the french onion soup and I had the cheddar dip! Both were delicious! Then for our main I had the BBQ pork back ribs with loaded baked potatoes and coleslaw and she had the Ribs and Jumbo Black Tiger Shrimp. Was so delish!

My son's favorite burger place. He always orders the Baton Rouge burger. We tried their 30th anniversary rib meal. Waitress swapped my fries and coleslaw with roasted veggies, which goes perfectly with the ribs. I would love to see their lunch menu back.

Update: I was contacted by the establishment and they took my review seriously. I have changed my rating from a 2 to a 4, but would still like to leave my initial experience here for future reference. Not worth the bill! I have never written a negative review before but this place warrants it. Ordered two of the more expensive meals on the menu and neither steak was worth anything close to that price, terrible cuts of meat, very fatty. The surf and turf came with a strip loin which was very thick and still somehow overcooked. I would have mentioned it at the restaurant but the waitress never asked how the meals were. Another small thing but that didn't end my meal well was that I was out with my husband and the waitress blatantly put the check down in front of him and when I said I was paying she asked if it was a special occasion, I said very politely that no I pay for half of everything. Again a very small issue that would have never bothered me on its own but with everything else it made for an unpleasant experience.

The food and atmosphere at BR in Centrum is always great! I have enjoyed the patio several times, since it re-opened. Just recently we ate inside for the first time. The staff is awesome! We were served by several people during our meal. I often saw the same server that came to our table, also serving tables across the restaurant. This practice results in excellent service. We no longer have to catch the eye of “our” server, because we were very well attended to throughout, by the team. No doubt the staff is run off their feet, but it doesn’t show. Every one of them was calm, polite, attentive and very accommodating. I truly appreciate how hard they work!

Food is great, however.. there was no lobster and no top sirloin steak. So basically no surf and turf. We went here explicitly for that instead of chop steakhouse. Will definitely go to Chop steak house to avoid this out of item issue next time.

I understand restaurant are in a tough spot, but the menu was lacking. Definitely not they experience I remember having there. Was once a go to place, now not so much.

I had a rib sandwich that was pretty flavourless. My husband had a steak & ribs combo - he said the meat was fine. The sides, however, were terrible. The fries were very poor (in a steakhouse?!) and the coleslaw tasted of nothing.

I'm giving it a 3 because the waitstaff was excellent 👌 Very friendly and efficient.... If it wasn't for them it would have gotten a 1 star... the food is not on par with the prices. We had the Mac and cheese, and the spinach dip... hard pass on both... We also had the Salad with the peanut sauce. Peanut sauce and dressing was phenomenal but the chicken was really dry.... not worth 20$ 😕.... Maybe it was just an off day for them but they really need to step up there food game at those prices 🤔
