Always a friendly face in store and amazing customer service - broke a litter box I purchased from them a few months back (totally my fault). Emailed them to ask if I could buy just the broken part and they've told me their rep is sending a new one free of charge! This is why shopping small local business is the best.

This pet store is nested in a strip mall in Orleans. I didn't have correct information about the item to buy for my daughter's dog. Staff was friendly and patient until I could find the picture of the item on my phone.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable. They have a great selection of raw dogfood. My frenchie loves the Salmon, air dried, food under the brand name “Smack”. It’s very highly quality and a great way to get salmon into his diet without breaking the bank. They also have a great selection of raw hides and assorted chews!

Update: The manager is fantastic and thoroughly knowledgeable on products, making great game-changing recommendations for my dogs' diets. Service like this keeps me coming back month after month. Would give this store 10 stars if I could. The only location close to home that sells Fromm dog food, which is the only food we feed our two dogs. Also have a great selection of treats and toys, as well as leashes, collars and dog beds. They also carry other pet-related products for species in the back of the store (ie hamsters, reptiles, etc). I also like that they can look up our last purchase when we go so we never buy the same flavour dog food for our spoiled pups 2 months in a row.

No dried or frozen fish food in stock??? Went next door to the big box store instead.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have some interesting dog toys that I haven't been able to find at Petsmart and we were able to find food that our picky cats liked. Once my dog unfortunately waited until we were in the store to poop. The employee working was very friendly and provided me with everything I needed to clean up the mess. I appreciated that.

It's a fine shop. No rewards program. No loyalty program either. I use to only shop at critter jungle, now I take my business elsewhere. There was an unfortunate mishap.

Service and professionalism could use some work. I prefer to shop local in most cases but this won’t be one of the places I support. Disappointing overall.

Staff are ALWAYS knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Products are in stock as best as they can with distribution limitations. Call ahead if you need reptile food and they will let you know what they have in store

They had a rather efficient curbside pickup system going, and they're the only place in the city (other than the other Critter Jungle) that sells Schesir cat food.

Very helpful. Carries anything needed for pet supplies, from mice, crickets and worms to quality cat foods and fish supplies. My #1 go to place in Ottawa, best prices personally for mice.

I now avoid the big chain pet stores if I can and shop exclusively here because they are so knowledgeable and friendly. They fitted my dog for a harness, gave recommendations on dealing with rashes and allergies. Can’t say enough good things.
