I normally do not eat beef burgers, but with the hamburgers at Five Guys being so good, I make an exception when I come here. When I want to eat a Five Guys burger in Ottawa this is the location that I normally go to. I find the service here very good, the burgers amazing, and the serving of fries to be generous.

This was a brutal experience, went in and placed two orders. Admittedly the place was busy. We were asked to wait outside as too many people were in the store which was fine however once we came in and got to order and slew of people came in and none were asked to wait outside like we were. Waited about 20minutes for the food which was fine as it was busy I understand that. Was called up that my orders were ready, I grab the food and drive home only to sit down and be missing a poutine. The rest of my family now get to eat as I now have to drive back for the other half of my meal. I get back and have to wait for them to make it again, I wasn't offered to have my food made fresh so it would be hot or a refund. I take the poutine and drive home again to my now 40minute cold burger to eat after everyone else in my family. And to make it better the poutine I went back for was half full and we had to throw out half of all three poutines including the one I had to drive back for as there was next to no gravy on them and the entire bottoms were dry as bone. Honestly have been to this location three times and two out of three of those times there's been an issue.

Location Hunt Club in Ottawa After watching staff throw french fries at the cashier while taking our order, removing a customer card that stated" I love 5 guys as much as I love cum" on their review board I got home to find out that my the burger which I ordered bun less due to wheat allergy was in a bun. Called the store, to have the "manager" lie saying it wasn't on the order.. yet on the receipt it states allergy.. Last time I'll be ordering there

On April 22 2022. I had ordered a cheese burger including the combo. The order was separated with the burger having it’s own bag and number, as well as the combo. Upon inquiring about the burger which was not included in the same bag as my combo, I had requested from the employee who assigns the orders to the customers why my burger is missing, he responded with “ what you order is what you get” without presenting any customer service skills, he continued his work as if I did not exist. In conclusion, I received my burger (which tasted dry) in a separate bag and number, upon discussing the order with the employee on the cash register.

The burgers are somewhat pricy but always worth it, the one thing that I would say is that a toasted bun is the only upgrade that could be made. The toppings are free and a regular burger comes with two 6oz patties; making the burger super filling and surprisingly not greasy at all. Fries are always great, and the free delicious peanuts are the cherry on top!

Best burger in the world

The employees greet you with a smile making you feel welcomed. The service is fast, and you know your food is always fresh as each patty is made to order. All toppings are free which is a bonus and prices overall are decent, you’d be looking at spending between $11-$14 for one person including tax. Highly recommend for a quick bite or sit down with friends or family.

Five guys is famous for its flavourful burgers, so when I have it a try a wile back I was instantly impressed. Juicy patty, diverse condiments and large portions, I was very impressed with the delicious food. One of the best burgers in Ottawa by far.

This Little Bacon Burger was clearly crafted with love and passion. The way the soft bun caressed my lips as I took a bite was incredible. The team working the evening shift on August 19th really went above and beyond helping me create my burger. And to top it all off the store was spotless. Every employee had a good vibe and deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication.

Solid burgers and top tier for fast food. Honestly top tier just in general. The burgers are always fresh and no fillers. They give a general portion of fries with an extra scoop in the bag. What’s not to love?

Very disappointed in the huntclub location 5 guys is known for their generous fries unfortunately this location is cheap and they count their fries. I had asked for extra and the employee with short hair he rejected. It’s the customer service for me and clearly he doesn’t about his customers if there was an extra large fry I would order it but unfortunately there isn’t. When ordering a size I recommend you get one size up because it’s very little portion.

Superb staff and a solid burger makes it a great place to stop.

Ordered a cheese burger and it had bits of bacon in it. They tried to play it off like they gave me the wrong burger but it was clearly cross contamination as it was leftover charred bacon bits. I understand mistakes happen during a lunch rush, but just a heads up for anybody who does not consume pork. They quickly made another burger, however this is not a mistake that should ever be made. I waited for the rush to die down before voicing my concern, but the employee there couldn’t even spare a minute to listen and instead walked off and completed other tasks while trying to listen. Edit: it seems that they replied and deleted their reply. Great damage control guys

You have to try it!!! Lots of options for you to get your Wished Burger or Hot Dog and great food quality. Besides you can eat a lot of peanuts!!!

Great burgers, very tasty! But I wish the fries are a bit more crispy. I feel like they are always taken out a few minutes early. At different locations (e.g., the one at St Catherine street in MTL before it was closed) fries were better. I don't know why that's the case.

I've worked in the service industry for year's. I have to laud 5 Guys. This was the most outstanding experience that I've had the pleasure of happening upon. The service was top notch, right from ordering to the finished product. Fresh hot and exactly what I needed. It's been 6 years since I've endeavored to try a take out burger. The price is as to be expected but of a much higher quality of ingredients. Thank you for that delectable treat, I couldn't make it better. This is the go to for the best burger, in my opinion in Ottawa. Thank you

It was my second time ordering from here after our daughter had a hankering for a grilled cheese sandwich. Typically something we would make at home but with the power outage we went exploring.... Lo and behold, these guys has this basic item on their menu. Something you might expect in a 50's era diner but where else? My expectations weren't very high, but were we ever in for a surprise! This looked like a quiche and even had bacon too. My hamburger was the juiciest and tastiest one I had eaten in years. Even going with the w single meat patty the second time round it was still plenty for me and very satisfying. Place was plenty busy too. Check them out.

It's been a while since i have been at five guys. The food is great but its getting pricey. 17dollars for a small burger, fry and drink. I realize things are going up but this is the most expensive burger location i have been too. If I was really hungry for a real burger I would come here but this place is more of a treat than a regular habit for me.

I usually love this place. I ordered yesterday and was not happy. I requested mayo, bbq sauce, ketchup and didn't get any of those. All they gave me was the mustard.(So all I had was mustard to put on the burger) I ordered the cajun fries and there was hardly any seasoning on them. I had to add my own (regular) salt. The milkshake (which was all melted when it got to me) was basically chocolate because there was very little salted caramel in it. So I was very disappointed. I rarely order out because it's expensive for me. I love dipping my fries in mayo, so I missed out on that too. Won't be ordering again. :(

Food is consistent. Shakes are delicious. I'd say it ts probably the dirtiest and greasiest of Five Guys places I've been. Floors feel like a skate rink.

Food was great and fast. There was a mistake on one of our burgers but on our favour as we got an extra patty. Quality of beef exceeded my expectation

Tried this location as I was curious and read good reviews. The food is great, the burgers were awesome, same for the fries ans banana milkshake. The only thing is I think its a bit overpriced for what it is and 2 burgers 1 frie and 2 regular milkshake was close to 50$

The strawberry milkshake is heavenly. But however their Cajun fries is way too salty, it’s like they just dumped it in a batch of salt.

Staff are friendly and awesome, food was even more great. It’s always well put together and I’ve personally never had any issues. Location is busy and the immediate parking is small and tight. Otherwise awesome food and stuff from a hard working team.

Good prices, but it is a counter service place with paper bags and tinfoil. Burger was good but way too many fries for a regular (and were loose at the bottom of the paper bag). They have salty peanut in the shell for free too.

Ahhhhhh. The best hamburgers and fries from a fast food outlet. Made fresh while you wait with so many toppings. You can see the thick beef patty extends to the edge of the bun. Served hot. Must mention the complimentary shelled peanuts. Very clean environment. Enjoy.

Honestly, other than the fries once in a while having a bit too much salt or seasoning... The quantities are always most generous, the food very good... They allow refills... Like what more could you want from a burger joint!

There are free peanuts while you wait. They call “little” their burgers that only have one patty. The fries are so many that they don’t fit into the container. There’s nothing not to love about the place.

The food is absolutely phenomenal! High quality and always fresh. Great service, friendly staff and the food always comes out fast. If I could give more stars, I would.

I love the quality of their patties and the fresh ingredients for the toppings. I think this restaurant chain must have the most choices of toppings out of any burger joint I know. Since I like spicy, I'm glad they offer fresh jalapeno peppers as a topping. And their Cajun fries are absolutely wonderful.

Great burgers, very fresh and juicy and unlimited toppings. Free peanuts (which are delicious in their own right). With how expensive fast-food is getting, it’s only about a dollar or two more than a McDonald’s burger which is as flat as a pancake.

Great burgers, no reason to get a large fry unless you are feeding a village. The service is good, but the music (loud and cleche rock) not a big fan. To sum it up I will definitely go again.

The food is outstanding. My burger was made a bit sloppy (falling apart). So if there is any room for improvement, it's that. But amazing food and I'm definitely going back.

The food wasn't great for the price. had a cheeseburger and poutine. The burger was squashed to the point my bun was flat, and the poutine was just ok. For the better part of $ 30 I would go to Chops across the parking lot. . 20 for a burger and fries that are fantastic. I had some expectations for a good burger and this wasn't it. Staff were super nice though. No complaints there

Clean and I would think is prepared for covid. Hamburgers and fries are some of the best in the city. Ironically parking is a bit limited, people were parking (uber drivers) on the laneway.

Super great quality burgers, also best fries. One thing though, if you're in a rush they tend to be a little on the slower side! Waited 30 mins for a curbside order, but it is usually worth it.

The food was very good. They use all the best ingredients. The reason why I'm rating this a 3 star is the price. Two combos with drinks came to almost 40$. That's a bit to much for a burger and fries.

What can you say, its 5 guys. It awesome. They are really busy on a Friday night so expect a wait. But they bring the food too you and the process for ordering is really easy, and staff is friendly

To order from here it's a MUST at least once in a month! I love the burgers 😍 . The shakes came cool, they are thick and tasty. I just wish this local had a delivery service by it’s own so I don’t have to pay extra for the apps! (Doordash, uber eats..) If you love burgers and shakes this is it!

I am from South of Brazil, was in Ottawa for two months and I wanted to go to five guys cause one friend of mine told me it was nice. I went and loved it, the peanuts that they have for u to eat while u waiting it's so good, the hamburger it's good too but the milk shake it's awesome, they have a lot toppings that u can put it, include bacon lol. You should go to see bay yourself!

Ordered takeout at 630pm it did not arrive until 9pm. It was lukewarm and both of our burgers were incorrect...We paid for extra cheese and one burger didn't even have cheese on it. I know Fridays are busy but when I am paying upwards of 50 bucks for a meal. . . I expect better. Much better.

Never expect delivery from this restaurant to be on time. Usually drivers wait here for 20-30 mins. If you are a delivery driver AVOID TAKING DELIVERIES from this restaurant.

Amazing burgers, the cheddar is to die for. I always recommend getting the extra cheese on these burgers if you get a chance. Also unlimited peanuts =) a shame if you have allergy. Service here is quick and always friendly. Lots of parking also and many other amenities in the area.
