This is a great place to have dinner. The food is delicious and the service is good. I would definitely recommend here for great Italian dishes. The calamari smelled great even thou we didn’t order it but we tried the signature Veal alla Pizzaiola and it was amazing and the presentation was also good. Other dishes such as the steak and chicken are also great. The cocktails we tried were excellent but-the cocktail that is made of lychee is highly recommended. We will visit again for sure and how can I forget the ambience. Great cozy restaurant for date night or a visit with friends.

Babbos offers delicious Italian fare in a cozy, upbeat atmosphere. The food was great! I loved the calamari, it was lightly battered and the portion was generous enough. For a main I ordered the Tagliatelle Eleni. Portion size was pretty standard, but after the calamari I felt comfortably full. Good dish overall. Its location in Manotick makes it a lovely date-night option for Barrhaven residents to frequent, without having to go all the way downtown.

Cute little place in Manotick with great service which was kind of surprising for how busy they were as they initially seemed understaffed for amount of patrons seated. Waiter was attentive, funny and friendly. Went due to there gluten free options which were good. Nice experience. Thank you.

They were fully booked when I phoned, but fortunately called back right away after a cancellation. The service was very busy but friendly and competent. Our bottle of red wine didn't appear to my tastes but was drinkable. The salads we chose were delicious and large, the highlight of the meal! Complemebtary focaccia was scrumptious. Our main courses had varied ratings, including the Vitello Babbos special (disappointing mix of tastes) and the salmon pasta (excellent sauce). The dining atmosphere was excellent with an authentic Italian feel. Prices were appropriate. Parking in the shopping mall was plentiful.

In the heart of Manotick, this cute old school Italian Eatery is a staple For many that live in the area. The seafood linguine dish stole the show. Very flavorful. Wish I had order it myself. Overall we Liked the place and will be back to try more things.

The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. We each started with a salad which was accompanied by warm bread. I had the veal, stuffed with prosciutto, shrimp and goat cheese, covered in a mushroom cream sauce. Absolutely delicious! The portion was quite large so I'll be enjoying leftovers tonight. My husband had the rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection. We look forward to going back and exploring the other items on their menu.

Great Italian food in Manotick! We have been there a couple of times tonight being the first since the pandemic and proof of vaccination requirements. This was handled efficiently at the door. Food is first rate! We had calamari for an appetizer followed by a cesar salad. My wife had the gnocchi and I had chicken parm! The attached photos were taken after we had eaten several bites... Servings were perfectly sized and very tasty! Looking forward to our next visit!

I went here today with my mother for lunch. It was so beautiful inside. It was clean and well-decorated. The staff was amazing, and our waitress was so wonderful and accommodating. My main meal was so flavourful and tasty. It was what I was looking for in a meal. It had a yummy pesto sauce with slices of Italian sausage. We weren’t planning to have a dessert but we did. It was out of this world. I had the white chocolate lemon cheesecake. I can still taste it. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Friendly and attentive staff. The food was okay and the peperonata appetizer was way too big a dish for me. I had the veal Babbo and couldn't really taste the goat cheese nor the brandy in the mushroom cream sauce but everything was perfectly cooked. Their pasta is very good as well as the lemon tartufo. Overall, it's a tad on the pricey side for okay food.

Had a wonderful dinner. Wine was slow to arrive but then as food arrived it was wonderful. My husband had the calamari and zucchini strips combo as an appetizer. Absolutely wonderful. I ‘sampled’ a healthy amount. My Caesar salad appetizer was Ok; nothing spectacular. A bit wilted. Dinner then arrived. My husband raved about the mixed grill and my salmon dinner was done to perfection. Veggies perfect. Overall a strong 8 or 9/10. And fresh bread with rosemary and olive oil a wonderful side addition! Server very good.

Loved our date night here! Delicious food, friendly service. They were very busy at 7:45 on a Saturday but they accommodated our ask to sit outside. very peaceful out on their patio. Even better they have gift cards at Costco! We’ll be back

Great Italian eatery with courteous staff. Food was fantastic and presentation is what you should expect in a high end restaurant but without the exorbitant prices. Fettuccini Alfredo was the best I ever had. Beautiful menu with offerings for every Italian food lover. Will be going back again soon!

Had my 1st experience at Babbos last night and myself and the 12 other people I was with thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time there. Our appetizer were shared on platters and consisted of calamari, zucchini sticks & bruschetta’s. Our set menu then included homemade buns, house salad and a choice of Babbos vittelo, chicken marsala or baked salmon. Dessert were lemon cheese cake, selection of 3 types of traditional or tiramisu.

The service was great and the food was delicious. It's a really nice Italian restaurant. There's a private dining room for groups. It's a small-ish restaurant and it fills up fast. I would recommend a reservation. I had the pollo amaretto and it was amazing. I also recommend the cheesecake. Even the cappuccino I had after my meal was delicious. Definitely adding this to my list of favourites.

Great food. Loved the pesto paste 💜 definitely Italian touch in every bite. Service could have been better. Calamari was not completely cooked but I would definitely recommend the amazing pastas here

Went here for the first time last night(February 2nd,2024). One word I think describes the entire experience best. FANTASTIC! One of the best meals myself and my fiancée have ever had. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent, we were blown away. Very nice, cozy and welcoming restaurant. Cannot fault it at all. I've eaten Italian food in Italy, and this was every bit as good. I will recommend this lovely little place to all my friends and family. I will be back, no question. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wow! I can't say enough good things about Babbos Restaurant in Manotik. I've been there multiple times with both my family and colleagues, and every experience has been absolutely top-notch. The food is consistently 11/10 - I mean, the quality of the ingredients is just fantastic. And the service? It's personalized and attentive, which really puts this place over the top for me. If you're looking for a dining experience that goes above and beyond, Babbos is the place to go. Highly recommend!

The food is delicious & the staff and service are impeccable. Everyone is so nice and hustles around the restaurant serving customers like a well oiled machine. Perfect atmosphere. My water glass was never empty. The food was hot and fresh very tasty. You feel like you’re at a family members home for dinner. Just a gem!

We just finished our Valentine dinner from Babbos, it was wonderful. The food that was supposed to be hot was hot. The salad and veggies were lovely and fresh and the bottle of red wine was smooth and had 2 glasses. Thank you Babbos for making Valentine's Day special, despite the pandemic . We are anxious to return to inside dining at your lovely restaurant.

Fine family feel. I had dinner here with my husband, and the night was perfect. We received great service. Our server was patient and amicable. Lighting in the restaurant was soft and warm. I like that the restaurant offers booth seating for a comfy/romantic feel. Our food was seasoned nicely, from the starting apps until the last bite of our dessert. The chefs didn't overload the pasta with sauce or cheese. We'll be back.

Absolutely the BEST experience and we are a large and excited group ~ we celebrated our son's graduations with Jordan and her amazing supporting cast and the service and food were outstanding. From the reservations being accommodated, hostesses who were so welcoming, bar and wait staff who went to the extra effort to get fresh mint for a single mojito, our food was superb and came with the sweet surprise of complimentary ice cream with sparklers for our boy's celebration. We all left feeling like royalty ~ I believe it fair to say that all who were in the dining room at that time were offered the same experience. We will save the trip to little Italy and return to Babbo's as often as we can. Thank you sincerely for ending an awesome day perfectly.

My husband and I went on a date night here we had some gift cards, long overdue for use. I have to say that it was refreshing to receive both exceptional service and exceptional meals. I find most restaurants fall short on both these days. We will definitely be back our server (Al?) was amazing!

This is Italian style food which is good, not great. It somehow looks like Italian food but far from it. If you've never been to Italy, you might enjoy it.

First time/Last time. A decent variety of apps/main dishes and pasta to choose from but most aren’t outstanding in presentation or taste. Service was satisfactory with some small accidents but they were apologetic. Atmosphere was satisfactory with options to eat dine inside, on the patio or on an extended patio lot. Parking was satisfactory because it’s attached to a plaza. Pricing. For Italian food, it isn’t unreasonable but after receiving the bill eating apps, drinks and pasta I would rather spend that money at other restaurants. Overall, a mediocre, satisfactory experience that gives me the motivation to drive up to little Italy to get a better experience.

We read the reviews and they were mixed. The restaurant was full and had a great energy for a Thursday night! Our experience was great service, food came in very reasonable time, portions excellent size - worth the price point. We would definitely go again.
