Rideau Pines Farm and Market

Farm

πŸ‘πŸ‘ We go there any time of a year. A bit less variety in winter, but still eggs, honey, pumpkins etc. It is our favourite farm. We encourage everyone to buy local. By doing so we keep our community's spirit high and support each other so our kids inherit a better comminity to live together. People often mention farm, strawberries, picking, pick, fresh, raspberries,

Super fresh, juicy and plumpy strawberry for folks who enjoy hand picking fruits. Very reasonably priced for the quantity they offer. Beautiful green farms, a must visit.

A day spent picking fresh berries with loved ones; really welcoming staff and guided us overall through the picking process. Enjoyed the day, it gives you great sense of satisfaction when you can pick your own fresh fruits and vegetable and mighty more when you eat them. A good space to teach your young ones about farming life away from the city stress. Loved it and would recommend it.

Great spot to pick your own veggies and visit an authentic farm. Great place to bring kids to walk around outside and discover different vegetables and participate in their collection. They are also set up for outdoor private party events which is kind of neat also!

Strawberries were great in June-July when we came to buy, and also today we’ve got very special purple raspberries, and raw buckwheat honey (this is a treat from my childhood from my home-country!). Grateful. The whole vibe about this place is very special. I want to come back. Thank you.

Best strawberries I have ever had in my entire life. Went today and picked a ton of strawberries and some onions and garlic. Owner was awesome, he helped us pick some strawberries and gave us a tiny tour of other produce he was growing. Such an awesome place, so worth the visit!

Amazing pick you own fruits and veggies farm with a nice little store full of local products. They still have strawberries. Great family run business. Go support the Vandenbergs.

This place is the real deal! Super friendly and whatever is in season (berries, vegetables, +honey etc.) is what they have; pick yourself or purchase on site, either way it doesn't get any fresher than 100 m from where it's grown. I almost don't want to give 5 stars in case too many people discover this place!

Didn’t know what to expect but we are so happy we came to this farm for the pick your own experience! Love that it’s far from main highways and the fields are surrounded by trees. We picked raspberries (they had golden ones!) and beautiful, sweet strawberries. They have an ever bearing strawberry variety so there’s plenty even now in September! Amazing flavour and definitely worth the trip out there. The farm store also has some amazing produce, we picked up fresh tomatoes (on sale!), shishito peppers, maple syrup and some lovely peacock feathers. The staff working in the shop when we went was so helpful, he explained all the produce available and helped us with baskets and our haul after going through the fields! Recommended this spot to a bunch of our friends already 😌😌

Beautiful farm with amazing staff! There are a lot of berries and veggies in this farm. Red and black currants, strawberry and raspberry, all in one place. I definitely could recommend this farm for everyone who is interested in picking fresh fruits and vegetables.

Spent an afternoon picking raspberries. Was so much fun. Bought cucumbers as well, they were fresh and so crunchy. You should try to visit this farm.

Sweetest strawberries and raspberries we had. They also have now a great variety of produce to pick: kale, brussel sprouts, cabbage, chard and sweet bell peppers

Best strawberry and raspberry picking experience we’ve ever had! The guy at the counter was so helpful. The produce they have is the freshest it gets. Less than $20 total for our box of strawberries, raspberries, a cauliflower some apples and a giant 30 lb pumpkin. We will be back next week and every week after that!

Strawberries are great and honey berries amazing. But moreover owner is a welcoming and very nice person. It is a family enjoy time place and I recommend everyone to come here

Their strawberries are some of the all time best for flavour and sweetness I've had locally. Even though it's late in the season, as of Aug 20 2022 they have pre-picked and self-pick still available. Their corn is absolutely amazing. The baby watermelon I got was so-so. I'd highly recommend coming and trying whatever they have in season.
