They are comparatively better than other DU canteen. IER canteen serves breakfast. Lunch from 12 onwards.

This canteen is owned by IER authority. This canteen was established to provide healthy foods to the students at a cheap price... But IER canteen is open to all... Anyone can have breakfast, snacks, tea & lunch here... Canteen remains open from 7am till 8 pm everyday except saturday....

If you are in a budget then this is "The best place in Dhaka University for you. You can get lunch @bdt 50 tk only !!!! With unlimited rice refill and dal. There are 3 set menu here chicken curry / Rui fish with vegetables / telapia fish curry . Moreover you can take refills of gravy's . And there's a complementary potato mash with every single purchase. Although the pulse (dal) will not go over the mark (it's really plain and thin) the overall tase is good and the place is neat and clean as well as the kitchen. Recommended.

This canteen is basically for the students of IER (Institute of Education and Research), Dhaka University. Reasonable price. Better food, service and atmosphere. But there are not a lot of items like kacchi, thai soup, beef rezala etc as it serves the basic purpose of hungry students with rice, lentil, sandwich etc.

The place every IERIAN likes damnly for spendig their chilling time and enjoying with their friends after class. Even if there is no class one day, they still come to IER and its canteen to chat and having fun.
