Though it's a restricted area only for the students of the institute technically, it is visited by outsiders all the time. Serene place with pond and trees beside it

Lovely place at Curzon hall . It is full of both faunal and floral biodiversity and helps students of Zoology, Fisheries and Soil, water and environment for research and laboratory purposes. It is very old pond and various myths are familiar with it. Minimum one students die almost every year by sinking in this pond. Although there are several signboards for not to swim in this pond, students can not resist themselves to swim here.

Very beautiful place. And nice for photoshoot. Worthy place for hangout. We went with our girl gang. It was really fun. And the hotel foods in front of the pond were so delicious 😋. They were cheap also. We really enjoyed it. Further more, there are some kids who sell roses. They are so adorable 🥰

Though the university area is so vast but there are only a few ponds. Among them the most beautiful is Shahidullah Hall Pond. It has a scenic beauty. As it is located near Curzon Hall, thousands of visitors come to feel the fresh air of this marvelous pond. The pond was made during the early days of University. Though it is situated in a male student hall but it is discouraged to swim in it due to security issues. A notable number of students have died in this pond. Overall we can say this pond is terribly beautiful!

An afternoon, at the bank of the pond just feels incredible. But this place is restricted for women.

I often go there with my wife after fazr prayer. Give a vibe of pure environment.

One of best place to relax! No sounds of machine and any engin! Relaxation of eyes and ears and soul's!

This pond is situated in the Curzon hall area just oppositeside of Bangladesh SupremeCourt.Very beautiful calm and relaxing place,especially in the evening time the surrounding area is very much quite.Additionally you can catch fish once in a year.Spent lovely time with friends during study time Nostalgic!!

Historical! One of the hiatorical place of Dhaka University. Though it is dangerous to swim here. Almost every year we listen to die students to go to swim.
