Local Palestinian food about a 3 min walk from the Walled Off Hotel. We walked at night time which, at first, felt a little intimidating, but most of the walk is around the wall and it ended up being very interesting looking at the graffiti on the wall. It was very safe to walk at night at the time of this post, but just check with the hotel desk if you are concerned. Really good food, kebabs, lamb chops and chicken skewers together with the small dishes of various food and hot bread. No menus just ask what they have. It was a little smoky for my liking but that’s all over here. Price was about US$100 for four of us - but we over ordered and took food home :-)

From outside looks like a regular restaurant. Inside when you sit and start eating you already feel the magic. You see the owner, his mother working there, and everything is so fresh and tasty. Really great food and service from the staff. At the end you can enjoy a nargile.

Great, really great kababs and the "salad" is a dozen dishes of stuff to put on bread. The do serve beer. The music is good. Service was good. The Wall is right outside & was being updated as we ate!

Highly recommended place with amazing food and service. Perfectly made lamb - original kebab. They have also palestinian Taybeh Beer and palestinian wine - both worthy to try.

Great food and very nice staff. A good place to discover local food in a non-touristic environment. They also have excellent wine from Palestine.

Decided to walk from the walled off hotel to have dinner here. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. They really only had one type of dish which was a vegetable platter and a meat platter served with pita bread. It was excellent. Making the pita with the meat and vegetables was a new experience. Food tastes wonderful and very filling. Would recommend if you're staying in the area to support this local place. I recommend it.

Best BBQ restaurant in Bethlehem, Fresh meat 🍖 every time, salads are fresh always. Every time i go there never regret to come back again. The meat they have not frozen fresh, if I'm not hungry 😋 i will be hungry 😋 again.

Visited with the family and was really impressed by the quality of the food and the service. I would recommend this place for anyone that's looking for fresh high quality meat and fresh salads

Force you to eat when you just want drinks and shisha. Good prices and food was actually very good.

Amazing food and amazing service!!!! The best lamb I have ever had! We came with friend and a local Bethlehem guide —both knew the staff well, so we ordered whatever they recommended. Let me tell you, it was quite a spread! Hummus, tahini, cucumber salad, fried potatoes, 3 different kinds of meat, etc. EVERYTHING was delicious! The place had such a “local” feel to it and the prices were reasonable. We would 100% come here again!

Huge disappointment. No taste, low quality and heavily overpriced. We should have left as soon as we were told that there is no menu they could show us.
