Servers/bartenders were amazing. Food was great. Near the end of our night, the owner (drunk) started loudly berating the staff in front of everyone. Read a management book or something, dude. You've got no business owning a bar. Hope your whole staff quits (I'd hire them in a second).

Went with a party of 7. Ordered appetizers and dinners. Everyone was pleased with their dinners and we all took home leftovers. Will definitely go back again. Made me feel like we were at a Supper Club in Northern Wisconsin.

Portions are double and so fresh. The beef barly soup had pieces of beef. All this and a bloody Mary for 40 bucks.

I went here with my sister in law for her birthday and when walking in you can just smell the awesome food being cooked! The staff was funny and attentive and the food was absolutely to die for! The fish was fresh and delicious, the steaks are fantastic, the portions are generous and the prices are super reasonable. I actually got the opportunity to meet the owner and after chatting with him, it makes perfect sense why this place is fantastic. I will definitely be back! 10/10

Terrific values on daily specials. Example half of delicious fried chicken with fries for $6.00. $8.00 for take out on Wednesdays.

Everything was delicious food fresh service was even better I really enjoyed my meal and I will be going back again I just happened to be in the area and ask Google for the nearest restaurant and this one popped up and it was right on time

It's a simple place, a bar with food. But the Ham and Cheese I had, a long with the Salisbury Steak my wife had were stellar! The young blonde waitress was super nice. This is one of those semi hidden gems off the beaten path with the best food. Home cooking. I can't wait to try the fried chicken!

This place has the best chicken! It's a small restaurant with a quaint atmosphere. You do have to reserve a table on chicken night. Yes, that's how good it is. And they have a big bar. I'm not a drinker but the bartender seem really friendly

I haven't been here for about 10 years, other than getting carry out Fried chicken....by the way was outstanding!!! Any way, my dear friend and I had decided to go to dinner....we both had the Strip Steak.....OMG!! It was cooked perfect medium rare and the side totally compliment that amazing steak. I've been to Morton's, Walkers and quite a few other steak house's.... I'll choose Valley Inn before them anytime. The best part, it's a stone's throw away... I feel so fortunate! ❤️

EVERYTHING took awhile: taking the order, ESPECIALLY bringing the main meal, and then the CHECK! Never once was there an apology on the delay. Soups/salads were brought before the appetizer and for one person in our party, the soup was presented with the meal and the server would not admit that wasn't the correct order of bringing the food. Honestly, a simple "sorry this took awhile" and I would not be writing this review. BTW, our party found some of the food to be good and others did not eat much due to the taste and the disgust with how S L O W everything took.

It's like walking into an old friend's house. You immediately feel at home. I had the chicken Marengo. Prepar to bring a quitter box home with you. You get so much food for your money. Let me know what you think if.you happen to visit. Don't forget to say hello too Dennis and all of his family.

Favorite restaurant. My husband and I go at least once a week. Food is fresh, delicious and bountiful. I particularly like the walleye special on weekends. Valley Inn never disappoints.

This place is a gem. They have great food. I literally loved everything I've tried. The fried chicken is great. It has flavor! If you want the fried chicken special on Wed. night be sure to make a reservation. The calamari isn't your typical calamari. It's freshly made and it's in strips. Hands down, the best calamari I've ever had (and I get it a lot of places). The staff is really friendly. They are attentive and you don't sit with dirty dishes on your table. The prices are good, the food is great, It's clean and it's cozy.

Grab some dinner and they will not disappoint. Not really a hang out kind of place unless you're retirement age. Only my opinion, but stay away from the fried pickles.

Friendly service, makes food fresh to order. Always get the angel hair pasta al vodka, but this time, they gave me spaghetti instead of angel hair. Good large portions.

Stopped in last week Wednesday, I had the Godfather Sandwich and my boyfriend had the Valley Burger. Wow, talk about fantastic food. Our waitress was wonderful, attentive and efficient. They also have some of the best fried chicken around. My favorite is their sausage, peppers and potatoes dish (it's usually a special). The prices are great and their service is exceptional.

As we came in the door I noticed in red letters that it stated 'We Never Forget Our Heroes'. I kind of liked that, since my husband is an Army veteran. Well as we were being seated, I share with the hostess that we had both a Hero and a Birthday Guy we were here to celebrate. We went intentionally for the awesome pork chop dinner the Village Inn always makes! Our cocktails were good enough to only needed one. Made just right! Yeah! And apparently my husband, Art, says 'this' is the best ever, ever mushroom soup. We got our 'to go'. When we finished eating, we received the check, and thanks, but no mention of Hero or Birthday. After we completed business, I did mention to our server, my personal request, and we were then offered desert . . . we took two delicious brownies. I 'little' disheartened. Leftovers great!

I ordered fried chicken and my husband had the fish fry. The cooks need to season the food. It was ok!

Ordered the taco salad NO ONIONS. The waitress wrote it up correctly. The cook missed it and onions in the taco salad. Sent it back, came back with onions. It was obvious that the cook picked out some onions (probably with his/her fingers) and returned the same salad. Not acceptable.
