Had a really bad experience. The food is decent. I will say that but I will not be back. I waited 35 minutes for 2 orders of chicken however got 2 containers of only chicken and rice. No sides or sauces. And waited 35 minutes. Not very happy. I will take the drive to fattoush and get wonderful middle eastern food as well as respect.

This establishment is horrifying. Let's start with the server, she doesn't comprehend the definition of serving. She had poor attitude, forgot our complete order, didnt bring our drinks, or offer us water. She never came back to check on us or ask if we needed anything. Then our food was brought out. My aunts shawarma sandwich was cut up into bite size as if it was served to a child. The pickles were stale, fries overly salted, and their shawarma was dry and tasteless. My rice, was COLD. However the chicken kabab, lamb kabab and chicken kifta were ok. But to add salt to already a painful sepsis wound, they added gratuity to a group of 3 adults and 2 kids without notification or written advance notice on their menu or check. The check that they didnt give to us on paper but told us the total amount verbally. So yea, never again for us, for those who do, you've been warned.

My first time there. I ordered the mix grill so I have taste of all and next time be prepared to order what is good, only thing that was seasoned well and had taste was the kifta, the rest was plain.it had the bbq flavor but bland, rice was not seasoned well and they said it came with grilled mixed veggies. All I got was a piece of onion&tomato .๐Ÿ˜ฅ I asked for some pickles which in all restaurants is free by the way ..here after check out it was $3.99 !!!for 10 olives and a few peppers..never coming back ...its funny how people destroy their buisness with their greed .I will stick to bawadi thanx ..

The food is ok, not that great. We ordered two mixed grill plates and one side of kubbaih. The meat was generally over spiced which is indicative of amateur cooking: the grilled chicken was good, lamb is over spiced as well as the beef kofta skewers and chicken kofta skewers. The rice was really bad, and not well made. First, the rice itself is the genetically modified one where the grain is hard and tastes more like Uncle Benโ€™s rice, not suitable for Middle Eastern food and not even chewable; basmati works better. The kubbaih was thick (not supposed to). The tahini salad that cane with the meal was okay, there was green pepper in which not a favorable ingredient in this salad because itโ€™s dominating; again indicative of amateur cooking. The lentil soup, which also came with the meal (soap or salad) was very small, overcooked and the texture was two fine, nit supposed to! The people there are very nice, but the service is poor. The cost is really high for the quality. We were two people and ordered two combination plates and a side of kubbaih and ended up paying $53 dollars; two people! The bathroom was poorly maintained and didnโ€™t have a toilet seat, not so clean and many dispensers mounted on the wall that donโ€™t work.

Bad service and sandwish tasted old and cold. If your going to eat there make sure your meat is right off the skewers. The employee served me old, cold and dark meat. Horrible will never go back. To bad because I heard good feedback about this place. If your going to eat in this place make sure your meat us fresh.

Excellent Shawarma, best I've tasted in Chicago and I've tasted them all! Charcoal grilled flavor, very busy place. If you want to grilled whole chicken, get it before six pm or they get sold out. Not a lot of seating area, it's more of a take out place .

Service here was bad. I ordered a few shawarma sandwiches, and it took them 45 minutes. The thing is the kitchen is open and you can see that the chefs were doing nothing. They seemed a bit lost and confused. The shawarma sandwiches were alright, nothing amazing. I am just a bit dissapointed as this was suppose to be a new gem in the area.

This place is great. Food is always fresh. Not sure what some of these haters are talking about. I love this plaza. I get my haircut next door, hit up the awesome mixed grill plate at this restaurant and then swing by Peteโ€™s across the street for grocery shopping. What more can u ask for lol.

This place was AMAZING! Came here with a party of 4, and we ordered so much food. The food came out fresh and it was delicious! The staff was wonderful from the host, to the waitress, to the owner. The restaurant was super clean and decorated in a very fitting manner. I Highly reccomend this place to anyone seeking a medeterinian meal!

Good authentic food!! We ordered a couple of combos and two kebab sandwiches. Everything was delicious. For those of you who frequent Pitta Inn in Skokie and are begging the question if it is better than that!! Well, to that I'd say, the difference is like eating an Indian dish in South Delhi and then driving down to Old Delhi and eating the exact same dish. There certainly would be a subtle difference in flavor and ambiance. But the dish would be equally delicious. I gave it 4 star .

Absalotly disgusting meat shawarma. I went to this place about 2 month ago ordered the shawerma plate. Meat was red and raw in the middle the bread was stale and old and the sauce was runny. Their prices and a little too high to the amount you get too. They should have a negative stars to give to this kinds of placed

๐Ÿ˜  Bad customer service. Iโ€™ve called in for 2 meals for 2 people, but when I came in they mixed up my order. Instead of 2 meals they prepped 1 meal. I wasnโ€™t offered any alternatives, and Im not the type of person to cause a scene or make them throw the food away. So I had to pay extra $10 and wait ex...
