Great place! It's right on the Chicago river. We sat outside. Very comfortable outside furniture. They have Pepsi products. The loaded tots with their ranch was so so good! You can tell they make their own ranch. I had the chicken strips and fries. My hubby has the shepherds pie. Both meals were delicious. Very affordable and clean. Our server was also great. I asked if we could bring dogs and he said yes. The Honkers Ale was great. It's one of their beers on draft. One downfall they charge a 2.50% "hospitality charge" on your bill. Oh they also have free self-serve popcorn. It was also very good.

Spent the evening here on Saturday night. They'd hosted the afterparty for The Raider Nation, the party after the party after the party from 10pm to 3am. You could only imagine the crowd, but Lizzies kept up well and served as a great lively bar that we all enjoyed immensely. Wish I'd remembered my bar tenders name, but I dropped him a $125 tip on a $250 bill. He more than earned it. Oh yeah, if you've still got my credit card, don't worry, I canceled it. Those Vodka Redbulls hit hard. I'll be back to Lizzie McNeills when I return to Chicago for certain. This is the spot!

Really cool Irish bar very quintessential. Really cool atmosphere tons of beer on tap. They make their own dark beer like Guinness, which is very good. During summer months there’s lots of outside dining with Riverview.

Excellent Irish pub right on the river with great service, delicious food, and a nice patio. We hung out to enjoy a quick dinner and a few drinks prior to our architectural river cruise, so the location was perfect. Since we had limited time, the friendly server was very accommodating to take both our drink order and food order at the same time and get it in right away. We ordered almost every single appetizer and split them all. They were so good that they were devoured almost immediately, leaving us wishing we had more time to stick around and enjoy more of their delicious food. While the wings were nothing to write home about, the lamb stew was amazing, the cheesy fingerling potatoes were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, the reuben rolls were perfectly delicious, and both the sausage platter and pretzel bites were devoured immediately.

Decent bar place by river to have a beer with friends and chill. Veggie menu options here are a joke. Hummus in irish bar???? And not much else. Ordered grilled cheese off kids menu which was fairly mediocre. Com'on, you guys are in Chicago.

Cozy Irish Pub nestled along the Chicago Riverwalk. Great pub grub, ambience and wonderful customer service. Walking distance from our hotel and the Navy Pier.

We walked over from The Sheraton Grand since the hotel has limited food options. We waited only about 10 minutes on a Friday night and the wait staff was super friendly. Huge selection of beers and cocktails. We stayed with the Guinness BBQ wings which were crisp and moist and very tasty. Also tried the Chicken and Chips which was a huge amount of chicken fingers and fries. Had buffalo sauce on the side which they needed as the breading did not have much flavor. Other people in my party had burgers which they said were very good. This place is a great Irish bar located along the Chicago River. I want to come back in the summer as they offer lots of seating along the river with great views of the city.

Great location on the Riverwalk. Good fish n’ chips (well I don’t recommend fries) but overall good.

This place was packed after the race but that did not slow down service at all. We were lucky to find a table right away. I got the hummus and she got the lamb stew. Both meals were excellent! Service was friendly despite the chaos around them. We could not ask for anything more!

I give a lot of 5 star reviews of restaurants and that is because I review others online reviews before going to most places. While visiting Chicago and walking about, we decided to come here on our last day in Chicago and before our flight home. It was right beside our Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverfront hotel and knew prior the reviews were excellent. My wife had the Shepherd’s Pie and I had the Lamb Stew bowl size. It also comes in a cup size. When the food arrived, I was initially worried the bowl was small and couldn’t image the cup serving size being much smaller. But while eating, there was no shortage of meat chunks and I did fill up. And I usually eat a lot/too much. I tried an Irish Whiskey I have never heard of or seen before. They have a very nice assortment of Irish Whiskeys. Our server was Devonante (according to the receipt). I thought it was Devonte but cannot be sure now. He was polite and kind. They also had a very nice patio alongside the Chicago river.

Great food and even better service food came out super fast and the drinks are awesome.

Service was kind and friendly, the Irish bar food was ok, the fish from the fish and chips, lacked salt and basically was tasteless. The fish it self was cooked very good and remained moist and flaky. The coleslaw salad again, was tasteless, chips came out of a bag. Still, a nice place, I might go there again.

I absolutely hate Irish pubs—ask my friends—but Lizzie McNeill’s is a true exception. It’s a fun, modern atmosphere that feels clean and open. The food menu is actually very underrated, and the bartenders are friendly. We absolutely love coming here.

I am a bit late writing this review, but the staff and service at Lizzie McNeil's are incredible. (The location speaks for itself. We love a Chicago River spot with a Patio.) Almost a year ago, my company hosted a bit of a shindig at the apartment complex next door... only problem? That complex does not have an ice machine... let alone a commercial grade ice machine. The manager on duty was kind enough to let me fill a Costco sized cooler with ice from their machine about 3 separate times. The drinks after we finished our party at Lizzie's were nice and stiff too.

Awesome neighborhood pub with an Irish flair and lots of televisions for watching sports. Great feel, really nice clientele and bartender. We felt quite comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Awesome cheese curds. And the lamb stew was some of the best I've had. The Craeg sandwich with the jalapeños was also excellent.

Great Food, Service, & Location. We were stating at The Sheraton Grand, & Lizzie's is a short walk around the corner. The Bangers & Mash, Fish & Chips, Craig Sandwich, & Lamb Stew were all good. Really enjoyed the patio atmosphere with the adjacent park. Highly Recommend!

The way that restaurants are hidden inside nooks and crannies throughout Chicago never ceases to amaze me. This felt like a pretty authentic Irish public experience in the city. They had some pretty zany appetizers, so we ordered a few. My favorite was the Reuben egg rolls. Just like it sounds, it was basically a Reuben sandwich inside of an egg roll. The place was moderately busy, but they still accommodated our large group and I don't think anybody felt like we were being ignored even if we had to go up to the bar to order versus having our table service for food. We were staying at the Loews. You have to go down some stairs to get here, but seriously it was like a 3-minute walk.

I ended up here because I was attending an event at the Sheraton nearby, and Lizzie McNeill's was practically the only bar open before 4 pm within a comfortable walking distance - which is exactly why I went there three times, including dinner one night. It's a solid Irish-style pub with a good selection of appetizers and main courses (the Shepherd's pie got to my table in roughly ten to twelve minutes), and although it's not going to knock anybody out in terms of innovation it's got a great selection of ale and comfort food.

This is a great spot for outdoor seating along the river - nice views, and in the shade. The 4 of us tried a variety of beers, appetizers and entrees and all were quite good! Try the sausage platter! 5 stars on the food, but not the service. Our visit got off to a bad start as tables all around us that were seated after us got service well before us, so I solved that with a trip to the host stand. A server showed up, but he was NOT happy and just stood there with his pad and pencil in hand ready to write - no "hi", no introduction, no "can I get you something to drink?" etc. That was a first, and quite odd. Service was not good, with drinks and waters going empty (we had to get up and refill our own waters from the cooler by the hostess). I suppose I'd go back for the food, but I'm very hesitant due to service issues.

Nice little hidden gem along the Chicago River, next to the Sheraton. They have a cozy patio that's not too big nor crowded. The drinks weren't overpriced, which was a bonus.

Right off the river walk, this Irish pub has a nice atmosphere, our server was amazing. Local drafts from Revolution were great to try, the freedom of 'speach' was a unique flavor! The Ruben rolls were a nice unexpected take in a bite size

Really pains me to write this review. Pre-covid and the new ownership I used to be in there with my friends at least once a week. They have screwed up the menu. Burgers are nice, but bring back the nachos and spinach/artichoke dip and other bar food. You would have more of the old crowd back. Hopefully management will listen and I can update this review soon.

It's a pretty cool place with a sample outdoor seating by the river which is pretty friendly. Pretty decent menu, good drive. I like how you could just scan your check to make your payment instead of waiting for them to take your Credit card and wait for the process. Very peaceful spot to hangout when it's not crowded.
