Stopped by to try the fried Korean chicken. The chicken was good, went with half spicy and half mild. It was a very large shareable portion. It comes with coleslaw, had to order rice separately. It was apparent the entree was lacking balance with this huge portion of protein and very little else. Service was below average.

The food was deliciousssss! Would definitely go again, the Korean tacos were alright, the Takoyaki are a must try, the chicken was great. My only complaint is that me and my group were seated by the door so the cold air kept hitting us anytime the door was opened. We were a bit chilly but we were still able to enjoy our food. Service was okay.

Great food at decent prices! The Korean fried chicken is supremely crunchy and enjoyed the half and half mix. The spicy is definitely hot btw! Only thing I would skip is the seasoned fries in place of just regular fries, coleslaw was good.

The chicken with kimchi was delicious. Soju cocktail finished it off perfectly. The service was great. I didn't have to wait long for anything.

Everything was fantastic! But can we just talk about those wings!? We got the half and half and it was perfect! The crunch in breading was something I’ve never experienced before.

We order take out from bon chon: 20 wings (half soy garlic, half spicy), japchae, seasoned fries. Japchae is delicious. Seasoned fries would be so perfect with some garlic. The pickled radish comes with the chicken is really good. I’m not too crazy about the breading and I’d want more sauce but it was overall a decent experience. Delivery through ubereats was fast and timely!

The chicken skin crispness is perfect. Spicy flavor is good. Fries are very good. The only ones i could eat cold. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bibimbap could have less rice and more veggies and meat.

Food is good. I love the wings that are half spicy and half sweet. The lunch special is the best deal here. The Korean beef soup 🍜 is also very good. I wish they offered free refills on soda. The French Fries are also tasty too. I hope they add more to their menu in the future.

I went to this location on 6/11/2023, it was my first time trying it after seeing it so often in Chinatown Square. I went around a hour before closing. It was pretty empty but the customer service was amazing. I ordered the wings with the flavors of soy garlic and spicy. The chicken was crispy and juicy in which I loved. I also ordered the chicken fried rice it Was full of flavor. I will definitely be back to try again.

If you are looking for Korean chicken wings for delivery, this is a fantastic option. I first ate at this restaurant pre-COVID and it became my #1 favorite place for spicy Korean chicken wings. Post-COVID, even with delivery, it still delivers (pun intended) on the flavor. The meals are well-packaged in strong containers. None of that weak-sauce packaging here. I asked for utensils and was pleasantly surprised to see forks, chopsticks, and plenty of napkins. *PRO TIP: if you are ordering through the app (or phone, etc), ask for extra plates! We ate out of the containers, which isn’t a big deal, but since we were staying at a hotel, it would’ve been clutch to have some extra plates to eat from. The food itself came surprisingly hot and the wings were still crunchy. Admittedly, it’s not the exact magic that occurs when you dine in, but that’s to be expected. It’s a strong offering for delivery. By the way, I LOVE spicy foods and see myself as being able to handle the spice well. These spicy wings are pretty spicy. Not the spiciest ever, but it makes you think you maybe order an “extra spicy” version or something. It’s VERY flavorful and delicious, but just be warned: it’s spicy. In short, if you are craving some Korean chicken wings for delivery (or any Korean cuisine for that matter) Bonchon prepares the food quickly, packages it well, and the flavors are well-preserved compared to its in-person offering. Although I would prefer to dine-in, I also wouldn’t hesitate to order delivery again when the craving strikes.

I won’t lie, this place was amazing in spice and everything. I was going in on my plate, until I came to a halt. There was a thin long black hair in my plate. My hairs brown and blond. One of the waiters was nice enough to cancel the plate from the order. I’ll come back, but please kindly hold the hair. 😌

Would give 6 stars if I could for the food. Absolutely amazing texture and flavor on both the takoyaki and boneless chicken we ordered! Delicious lychee drinks! Got a mixture of spicy and soy garlic sauces on my chicken and it knocked it out of the park. Partner got chicken katsu and it has rave reviews also from them. Will definitely return someday for a delicious meal again!!

I tried their Korean fried chicken, and bull daak , generally all the food were good not great , and they use a good quality of chicken. The service was fast and professional.

The lunch special is a little cheaper but still about $1 each wing. The wings are juicy and crispy, but not worth the money due to size. The portion size is very very small and rice is extra.

The wings are so tender and full of flavor! The half and half sauce option is the best way to go to try the best of both worlds (spicy and sweet). Nothing like an ice cold Sapporo beer to go with the wings. Enjoy!

The crispy texture and flavor for the seasoned exterior of skin is divine but the chicken meat itself is on the dry side and could definitely be juicier. Also I ordered the 4 wing and 2 drum combo but got 2 wings and 4 drum instead. I know most people prefer the latter but I like wings more and expect to get what I order. Service was okay, I went during a quiet time and servers were minimally attentive. Plus my ice water tasted kind of gross...

Bonchon has amazingly crispy fried chicken with delicous flavours. Fries were also very crisp and well seasoned too. Portion sizes are good as well. Service is good, and atmosphere was lively and comfy. Would come again!

Everything I ate was delicious!!! I had the Korean BBQ and Spicy Boneless chicken with pickled radish, Spicy Chicken fried rice, and Bulgogi fries. The portions were a good size as well. I will definitely eat here again. If you decide to sit and dine here, get here a little earlier because it does get crowded quick

Ordered on line. Quick and easy. Paid for it on line too. Food is very good. A great option for quick dinner pick up. 20 Strips with Soy & Garlic. Onion rings and Takoyaki All very good. I will say I'm addicted to this chicken. If you order hot wings or strips. They are HOT. Ranch dressing will cool you down. Thank you for a great to go meal Family very happy.

Literally my go to restaurant when I can't decide especially when I'm at work. Fried pickles? Amazing. The spicy chicken wings and tenders? Delicious 😋. Seasoned fries? If I wasn't on a diet, I would eat 2 baskets of it by myself. The service was quick and great.

Love this place! My partner and I tried tteokbokki here for the first time, and loved it. I’ve never had a chicken katsu as amazing as theirs, either! Very clean restaurant, very accommodating and friendly workers—just an all-around lovely place.

Delicious chicken and was pretty reasonably priced, we also got the garlic fries which were also very tasty. I don't often review chains but BonChon was so good that not only will I be back but here's a review of it!

Ordered the half and half and the spicy portion was extremely good but a bit spicy. Didn't stop me from devouring them though. Seaaoned fries were great, but the chicken was the main event. I believe this place just was not for me. Asides from the seasoned zucchini fries that I found interestingly delicious, I was only able to eat 1 of my chicken soy garlic sliders and a bit of the bulgogi. The chairs were super uncomfortable as well. Otherwise it's quick service.

The skin of the chicken is so crispy and you can literally hear the sound of how crunchy it is. Their signature fried chicken fried to perfection. You can say the crunch is like eating a bag of lays chips.

The Japchae was good. The Spicy Wings were spicy and the Soy Garlic Wings was very good. Only get the Season Fries if you're going to eat in the restaurant, I'm all about crispy fries. Hahaha.

Terrible. We went there few times and they didn't seat us even it had few empty tables. They said those are reserved. Bad customer service. They prefer empty tables rather serving their customers. Never go back for the rest of my live.

Order Korean beef tacos, takoyaki and fried rice. Everything was delicious, although the pork belly was a bit on the tougher side.

They said they're closed and it's only 9:31 pm and the sign says 10pm . They should be honest about the time they close instead of lying to look good

The Japanese fried chicken wings was sooooooo good! It's in Chinatown & we're definitely going back! Oh & downstairs, Mango Mango has the best mango smoothie!

Great place to bring a date, or just to hang out with your friends! It is a little pricey but the food is definitely worth it. Recommend getting the drumsticks because they are larger than the wings.

Small dining space with a Short but effective menu. Service was friendly but we literally had to ask to have empty dishes removed multiple times, if not they would just have completely cluttered up our table. They have Familiar items that attract an unadventurous crowd with wings, onion rings and tacos but their other traditional dishes like Bulgogi, Takoyaki and Fried Rice are so damn good. I am amazed at how flavorful their fried rice is, We loved it. The Chicken Katsu was pretty basic and can please a picky eater. Fried shrimp shumai sounded very interesting but missed the mark on our taste buds. We'll try them steamed next time. The wings we very crispy but flavor wise were not the kind you crave for, pricey at that. Pork Buns were good but nothing to rave about. All in all we had a good meal and Again the Bulgogi, Takoyaki and the Fried Rice was just Delicious.

AMAZING chicken. We drove over an hour home with this chicken and it was still crunchy when we ate it. Same for the Takoyaki, it wasn't soggy at all. I was really surprised. My only complaint is location. You have to really pay attention otherwise you'll walk right by it like we did.

There are times you just need double deep fried chicken wings. For those times, you can count on Bonchon to deliver. I first experience this chain in NYC where it started, then again in DC. Whilst i would rank Chicago’s chain below both locations, this BC definitely satisfies your taste buds. I also want to give them an honorable mention when they participated in a period of time where they gave first responders a free meal. I visited them a couple times during those weeks and felt truly valued as a healthcare provider during the early pandemic months. Thank you for being in Chinatown and so delicious each time :)
