Important Notes on Dataran Cenang: - Lots of food choices, but does not mean they are all worth the price :) sample each and everyone of them. - I'd say come to Dataran Cenang for the desserts and finger food. Go elsewhere for proper dinner. - Enjoy light dishes like pizzas, ice cream and french fries. Please support the locals. - Buy cheap beers and bring them to this beach to enjoy the sunset :) *Bring your OWN foldable camping chairs. Thank me later :)

Weekend nights are full of events and performances. It is so happening on the nights specially on the weekends. If you planning visit Langkawi, I do recommend you book the hotel, motel, or resorts at here. It is happening on every night. Do expect morning is silent and quite since everyone are partying all night long ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ There are quite few nice breakfast spot at Cenang beach. Do go discover them.

This place is so fun!!! Many stalls and operators here. You don't have to plan your trip beforehand because, once you arrive here.. there are many operators, travel agents that can provide their service to you directly. Locals are here too. You can socialize with them. There are fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ dance every night. The food here is okay (not overpriced). Colourful and vibrant Malaysia can you see all around. Langkawi is such a vibe. Music are trendy and suit teens taste. Environment is clean and the view is mesmerizing ๐Ÿ๏ธโ˜€๏ธ be it night or day, sunrise or sunset, I experience both and all I see is beauty ๐Ÿ˜ masyaAllah...

The view was really nice. The weather was pleasant. The sand so soft and white. But the restaurants their food price quite expensive and taste so so. So if you're looking for dinner there is a foodtruck nearby. At night there will be fire show that you can pay rm20 for unlimited time until 2 am with a free complimentary drink. The show was really nice, its a must if you visit Langkawi. Can take a walk along the beach, its safe. Time spent well.

Excellent for hangout weekend and nights .โ›ฑ๏ธ Dataran Cenang (Tourist attraction) is located in Kedah, Malaysia. Nearby area or landmark is Jalan Pantai Chenang. Dataran Cenang has quite many listed places around it. Night hangout is awesome. Beaches are neat and clean and can may eatouts.

Second time with 2 months to langkawi, meaning this place good right? This time no so many people as newly reopen the tourism for the island. but still maintain the cleanliness of the beach. I mean the business back to almost normal. People coming and local feel good as business bounce back. The most significant fact is, the November skycab VIP gondola price 50% discount at RM275, now hammm hamm. but still cheaper options available. Sunday night happening.

Beautiful beach, good vibe, busy or chilled areas all along depending on what you're looking for. Lots of beach cafรฉs and some bars with fireshows. AMAZING SUNSETS!

This is a happening place on weekends especially evenings. Lots of people milling around, performances to watch, music to listen to, and friends to be merry with. The beach front is not the best. The sand close to the shore line is slightly muddy and prickly with broken seashells. On weekends the entire beach front is crowded. Youโ€™ll will find many water sport operators vying for your business. Sunsets can be spectacular at times.

One of my best destinations that Iโ€™ll highly recommend it to get in your Langkawi schedule. Also, I would to recommend you to stay in one of the hotel or resort that close to Cenang Beach because the beach and the main street have night life in order you can do some activities, unlike other place in Langkawi that shut 5-8 PM max. Also, All service will be available there.

Nice long sandy beach, water pretty nice but a little murky - maybe that's just the time of year (August 2023). A little wavey but not surfy. Main drag is only 100 metres away from beach, with plenty of food and drink options ... but not much in the way of bars, given the culture. Jet skis, parasailing, banana boats etc. Many hotels back right onto the beach, which somewhat detracts from the scenicness, but I suppose it's handy for some.

Visited at night. Due to the rain, there weren't many activities happening here. However, this is a really nice public park, and I'm sure that if the weather is good, it should be a great place to hang out and chill during the day.

๐Ÿซค To be honest - I would not visit this market again and since it was our first on Langkawi, Iโ€™m not sure to visit any more. The market itself is okayish. You have a mixture of typical Malaysian food (mostly nasi lemak, Ayam, Etc), some fast food (Kebap, burgers, fries) and clothes. The market itself...
