Food is acceptable, service deserves zero star if possible. Good location as it's central. Keep count of your items and request a bill when settling up to keep them on their toes so that items don't magically get added to your bill. They don't even bother wiping the tables after the previous customers, pathetic service honestly.

Disappointed with this visit. Ordered koey teow goreng ayam - what we got was sweet-tasting koey teow with roast chicken added in. Didn’t taste like fried koey teow at all. Ordered butter naan and tandoori chicken - this was average in taste. Teh Panas was watered down. Mango lassi wasn’t great either.

I visited for dinner a few days ago and I had a good experience. The only downside is that there was not many dishes from the menu available (I believe they had a reduced menu due to Ramadan) but what we had was delicious. The plate with choices from the buffet style was a generous portion and well cooked. The naan was lovely (maybe a bit heavy, drooling with butter) and the coconut shake was on point. We spent around 60MYR (2 people).

Dreadful service! It tooks 45mins just for a roti canai. Taste was totally out! Both manager and staff are rude! Never go to this place!

Reviewing because I really don’t understand this restaurants review score. We ate here multiple times in Langkawi, I had the egg roti, masala thosai, tandoori chicken, naan, tea and a fresh orange juice. Everything was delicious and the tandoori was one of the best i’ve had in Malaysia. I’ve seen some reviews about bad service, I wouldn’t say it’s bad you just have to get the staffs attention when you need it. The food is really good and so is the price. Would recommend.

Bad quality watered down the tarik. Bad service, no one came to take order after 10 mins. After take order wrong order. Cheese nan smelt of old marjerin. Tandoori chicken stale and carried forward from previous day. Avoid this restaurant at all cost!

The worst restaurant in Malaysia. They had nice milkshakes, that's it. Don't go here. Went here as a large group which they said they could accommodate but they got so many orders wrong and also there were many flies in some of the dishes and even when they were sent back they still did not fix the fact it had flies in it. Many people were left with no food as they had completely forgotten their order. Many people had also completely lost their appetite for the night because of how horrific this experience was. Do not go here.

Upon arriving @ the Resturant needed the restroom is as bad as any nasty gas station bathroom you will find not sure when was the last time it was cleaned stunk as well. I would not want to see what the kitchen is like. This is a place I WILL NOT BE BACK. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

The Nasi kandar actually quite good, but price as usual other Nasi kandar, can be quite pricey, saw waiter cont to fill in dishes for those first timer of Nasi kandar, can imagine the price of those plates. Good location, had lunch here before island hopping trip.

Best roti Ayam tandoori I've had in years. Loved it. Good price good food, service was a bit iffy but hey can't get everything right.

The food was tasty. I was astonished to see it's review score on Google after taking my dinner. It is a good place for Indian food.

Food: Below Average. Nasi lemak tasted bad, couldn’t finish. Roti canai was burnt. Hard as cardboard. Service: Horrible. We ordered roti dua telur, didn’t arrive. Once we asked the waiter, he said ‘roti habis’. So we waiting for 30 MINUTES for what? Recommend avoiding this place.

The food is amazing!!! I had dinner here 3 times in a row, it was so good. And its very cheap too. Just the plain naan comes with a delicious sauce 😋 Everything was very good. If I need to pick one, which I liked best, I guess I'd say chicken byriani 🤩

The portion of the food here is insanely small. Paid RM20 for a small bowl of fish curry with only 4 tiny slices of dory fillet. Another RM20 for 4 tiny strip of chicken. Taste satisfactory only. Avoid at all cost.

Food was lovely, tandoori chicken very authentic and tasty, delicious biryani rice, we visited three times during our week stay. service could be better.

We had to wait 20minutes just to get our food ordered, we end up leaving the place. I only see 2 female workers taking order or delivering food for such a big restaurant. Maybe can increase staff population?

I only gave one star because I have to, otherwise this place doesn't deserve it. We arrived at this restaurant in the afternoon, sat on a table after checking the food stall finding it almost empty and thinking we can order a la cart. We were approached by a seemingly Bangladeshi waiter, the rudest I've seen. With no welcoming words and his bad manners, we asked if we can order food, he said the only food we have is on the stall (which was almost empty). The owner really needs to improve this place and staff if he really cares for his restaurant to compete in this highly competitive food street.

If you don't expect customer service and just want eat food you can visit other wise, I won't recommend this place. Horrible customer service. They really don't care who is waiting and who just entered. If you ask, there answer is rude answer to wait. There are many other good restaurants near by with plenty of variety. From my side, zero stars for this place.

The meat was pretty good though but not really an authentic nasi lemak

They open pretty early in the morning, which is nice as most restaurants or cafes don’t. The place is relatively big so no worries about being in a crowded space. It’s near the beach so the environment feels nice. Prices of the food are normal, not too expensive. The only complains that I have are the staff aren’t too friendly, they tend to ignore if you don’t wave your hand or call them loudly. Besides that the food are not decent as well, they’re not bad but the ingredients are very little.

We ordered 5 plain cheese naan, thandoori chicken with chicken kurma, we are very disappointed with their foods. The naan was half cooked, thandoori chicken was salty and the kurma was looks like so many days they heat up and kept. We really wasters our money.

Food variety is limited even with items in the menu. Nasi Lemak is nothing to shout about. Roti Chennai also limited. No Mertabak etc.

Not really a great place, but ok food, except they charge tourists too much, considering similar food costs a third or less elsewhere on Langkawi.

We had a great experience eating several times at Ali Bistro, breakfast with tasty Roti Canai and dinner with delicious Tandoori Chicken. Definitely recommend it. Our favorite food near Chenang Beach!

We ate around 6 times at Alis Bistro and I really can’t understand the bad reviews. Our food came always very fast and everything tasted delicious! Especially the Nasi goreng and Nasi Lemak were one of the best we had in Malaysia!

the worst food ever had in Malaysia,we ordered two rice 1 okra & one chicken curry.The amount of rice is okay but see at the okra they give only 3pieces!!!& the amount of Chicken is very very low ,Don’t go to this restaurant ever.

Tandoori chicken fab tender and moist best ever, seen some pretty sure reviews mainly on the service which is a bit hit and miss tables could do with a better clean and toilets were dismal but the food was very good. Veg curry also tasty and the garlic naan best ever
