A place that exists to prove that discovering amazing coffee is a never ending story. We visited almost all the top rated coffee shops in Bucharest and we already had a top tier list in our heads. That was all settled until we ended up finding this amazing, cozy place. The coffee here is exceptional, most likely also due to the attention that Andrei is putting in every step of the coffee making process. If you're passionate about coffee, this is the place to go to, and you'll end up learning so many new things about the coffee world from Andrei, hwo's more than happy to spend quality time with it's customers. Super cozy place! Friendly baristas, extremely delicious coffee, good music, gorgeous position of the coffee shop and many others! In the pic: a tea (magic winter flavour with a lot of cinnamon), a latte (perfect one) and 2 tiny croissants (with walnuts and cinnamon flavour). Today I stopped by for my first time but i will definitely come back! Ps: couldn't help myself from buying one gorgeous piece of ceramic mug!

Pleasantly overwhelmed by the hospitality and kindness displayed by the staff. When we got there, they were making crepes to test a possible addition to the menu. Even though they weren't on the menu yet so we technically couldn't order them, they still served us one. The coffee and the space are both delightful and - what I liked most - full of light, making it the perfect place to grab your coffee on a sunny day.

This cafe, although seemingly limited in space, was wonderful. I savored a double shot latte with Ethiopian beans, finding a delightful balance between acidity and taste in every sip. While prices lean towards the higher end, they are not unbearable. The staff was very kind, willingly sharing information about the beans they use. Their food options were very tempting.

The coffee is good, but the people serving it are not professionals. Went there twice and both times they mixed my order. First time (a few months ago) we ordered an espresso to drink there and a cold brew to go. They made both "to go" and after we told them that the espresso was to drink there, they just moved the coffee from the paper cup to a normal cup (the paper cup changes the taste of the coffee) The second time (yesterday) I ordered an espresso and a flat white and we were the only clients so they started preparing the order right away. They put the espresso shots in 2 large cups and started making cappuccinos. After the first one was ready and we realized they mixed our order, we clarified it and they made a flat white again, but left the espresso in the large cup...

Amazing coffee, great atmosphere, and welcoming staff. Excellent place to enjoy a coffee! I had the V60 and it was delicious and so much fun to watch it being brewed. Highly recommend!

Very small and cozy specialty coffee shop, right next to Cismigiu. Coffee was amazingly extracted, one of the best I have had in Bucharest. Very highly recommended! Update: second visit was just as pleasant as the first one, still highly recommended :)

The flat white was too bitter for my taste. Not many sitting options, few tables with uncomfortable chairs.

Great coffee and hot chocolate and a nice minimalistic look, but the servers do not understand customer service. They look at you like you’re an alien without greeting you when you approach the counter. Also, it gets crowded quickly. It’s a small space.

Good coffee, but the place is not cozy, though small. The interior is sleek and there is no soul you might be looking for.

A quiet street, nearby Cismigiu Park, where you find a small oasis that offers you amazing coffee and some really good sweet snacks (I had the apricot spongecake and you should try it!!!). Would totally recommend if you're into specialty coffee, and even more if not! Cheerio! ♡

The coffee is great! The vegan sponge cake was very lousyto my taste, humid and super dense... I guess that just might be me, I like non-vegan sponge cake a lot, maybe that's why I feel that vegan sponge cake is like a bait and switch

So, I come to edit my review because time has passed and I become their regular customer now. I grew in love with this coffee shop. I have tried many coffee shops in Bucharest, small or big. This place is still by far the top of mine. Their coffee always tastes excellent with fantastic smells. Been there a few times, never been disappointed with a cup of cappuccino. Every time I go there, I can expect happiness from a delicious cup of coffee. Perfect Simplu deserves all the success!

Stumbled upon this little coffee shop by accident, when I walked past it and was in need of a caffeine boost. The coffee is perpared meticulously, it tastes excellent and the atmosphere is nice. Will definitely come back when around the neighbourhood.

One of the best specialty coffee places around Cismigiu. Great selection from Manhattan and Ineffable. I recommend trying the special processing brews.
