Wow! Amazing seafood soup! I go to DTLA to one of the most popular restaurants to eat this type of food but who knew this little gem was hiding in my neighborhood!! I kid you not I was astounded at how delicious their seafood soup was, the chowmein was so delicious as well! 10/10 recommend. If you love Thai food and want a place that’s not over priced, over packed, come here. I’ll admit I was skeptical to post this review since I wanted to keep it to myself. No lie. I would say that I like lemon(y) soup but I like it light. So if you don’t want too much lemon taste ask for light. 💯 I’ve seen some people post that the soup takes a while, but so what! This is not fast food. This is real food.

AMAZING FOOD! The Seafood Soup was absolutely DELICIOUS! The fried wontons & chow mein as well! This restaurant is so well organized and welcoming. I live far, but will definitely be coming back again to try their other menu items. Also, Sid the server was so funny and outgoing. He really made us feel welcomed, and it really heightened the customer service.

Great food! Calling in orders can be trying... as they get very busy, but it is worth the wait. (Old industry insider here... you never slam the kitchen, quality deteriorates) We haven't had a bad meal from here yet. We look forward to dining in to try some dishes that aren't good to transport. I have visit this little 💎 a few times. If you are looking for good Thai food this is a place a recommend. The food is freshly prepared and the owner is friendly… small mom & pop place… very delicious soups and fried rice and pad Thai. Khan Tao is delicious tooo… whenever you come here try anything they offer I don’t think you will be disappointed… Thank you and I’ll see you Next time

First time in this Thai Place and well very impressed with how my family and I were treated. Highly recommend it, to everyone that like Thai Food.

Very delicious food, low wait times and great order-by-phone service. The spicy seafood soup is such a great wake up for the body. Also make sure to dine in with the family once in a while, as sometimes you'll hear the boss's favorite catch phrase, "bye, see you tomorrow!"

The food is excellent but the person to take the order is absolutely horrible. When my co worker and I order we keep being told to call back or hold, he will say he is busy. This has happened to us almost every time. Very unhappy with the place. So disappointed with the place. I believe he may be the Owner, hence nobody to complain to.

This was our 3rd time visiting this lil gem. We really enjoy having the curry and pad thai.

Great Thai food and reasonable prices. But if you’re going for lunch during work, order pickup because the waiter will start doing the straw game with you and make the stay longer. He had us write down our orders for a group of 6 and started making jokes. Funny guy but takes up time.

The staff was friendly and helpful. No issues ordering ahead. When I arrived the food was ready. The food was great. The portions were a good size and the quality was top notch. Will definitely be back. Recommend the Pad Thai and the Panang curry. I will be trying a lot more when I can.

Do not order take out from this place. They take forever to cook your food and they don't answer their phone. Told me to call in ten minutes and then forwarded my calls. Poor customer service. Never ordering from this place again. Thank you for the few times we got to eat inside. Have a good day.

The coconut shrimp soup was delicious, staff very friendly, they greet you so nicely and they thank for coming. Food taste so good and fresh, and if they take a little time to serve maybe it’s because food is freshly made not already cooked. Resonably priced. Definitely 5 stars from

Place is really original and so delicious! And they serve big shrimp for the combo fried rice! Rare places like these are why I love to try new places all the time the owner is so friendly and they have very great costumer service! Definitely recommend it to my family and friends and anyone

Colorful painted wall food art, flavorful delicious entrees, friendly staff, what's not to like! I especially like the Thai iced tea and lunch specials served with a small mixed salad and an egg roll.

The service and food was incredible. We ordered a shrimp pad Thai, orange chicken, tom Kah Kong. The most delicious Thai we’ve had. The staff was extremely friendly too. Highly recommend

The crispy pork basil is amazing. Do not get the pineapple rice, no favor. I'm glad I got egg fried rice on the side to replace it. Steam veggies are still firm. Would order again, just not pineapple rice.

Best Thai food anywhere nearby, bar none! Owner and his wife serve you personally, make recommendations and cook some of the best food I've ever had. Standard dishes like pad Thai or fried rice with crispy pork or spicy green beans and beef, are made to perfection. They will accommodate allergies ( my wife is allergic to nuts) or whatever level of spice you are comfortable with. You need to try this food

I had the shrimp pad Thai, crab fried rice, 2 orders of orange chicken and a small fried rice. I spent 66 dollars. The meal fed 4 adults and 2 kids. It was fresh and delicious. The person up front had great customer service. Everything I had was great. The orange chicken was done right. Crispy and juicy at the same time.

Lovely people and establishment!! The food is so delicious. My friends and I had the kao soi, pad see ew, and fried rice and they were all yummy! The owners are so friendly and playful. I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely a new Thai spot for me!
