Square Louise Michel offers a breathtaking view from the top of Paris. Despite being a bit crowded and windy, the presence of a charming wine shop adds to the experience. Ascending the stairs might be a tad tiring, but the option to pay for the electric stairs is truly amazing, making the journey even more memorable.

Beautiful place! You can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire city. However, it tends to get quite crowded, which can make it challenging to capture a perfect picture. Additionally, reaching this spot requires climbing several stairs. As I always say, when visiting Paris, it's essential to wear comfortable shoes.

Definitely a must-see stop in Paris. Beware of the people that try to put bracelets on you though! Pickpockets are very active there and the bracelet guys can get a bit aggressive. It is very beautiful and the little shops at the top of the hill are a bit more expensive but the setting is worth it.

If harrasment by scam artists or the constant spectre of losing your wallet, in between braving lots of stairs is exciting and exhilarating to you then this is a must see for any visit to Paris. Enjoy the tour de force of the Bracelet scam (particularly effective in terrorising young women), Shell Game (everyone but you is in on it) or “Please take my survey” - where you roll the dice on having your pocket picked or being duped into giving money to fake charity (or both if you are lucky). Your reward is a beautiful view of Paris - best to take an alternative route to the top.

Serviceable park offering good views over Paris. However, very steep with lots of steps. Lots of touts/scammers etc. If some children ask you to sign a petition in support of blind kids or something, don't do it, it's a scam. They'll try to make you feel bad but it's literally a scam so just bluntly say no and walk on.

I took a tram to the top where I got to enjoy the most beautiful views of Paris. There are a lot people enjoying the sights and sounds. There also where some people trying to get you to sign something and collect money they were very aggressive and there were a lot of them. Other that that the chapel was also breath taking too.

Walk up towards the church for a great view of Paris. However, be aware of scammers forcing bracelets on you. They’re really pushy, even grabbing your wrist. There should be more police on patrol.

Beautiful park/square with many people sitting on the slopes enjoying the magnificent view of Paris. If you'll visit during sunset get ready to search for a spot because the place will be backed.

The green surroundings are heart touching. Beautiful place to visit for mindfulness but be aware of black africans there who trap you and then demand money.

The only hill in Paris, where most of the other parts are flat, so it has a great view of the city of Paris.

This place located in a high ground that you can overlook Paris. Stunning view. However there are too many scammers. On the lower part of stairs there’s gangs stuck in the narrowest part trying to put the bracelet on your hands and ask for money. I nearly fall off when I try to get rid of them. Also some people seem to be deaf muted and they will ask you to sign a donation form. There are two soldiers on patrol, but the scammers are still active and aggressive.

Beautiful park with some of the best views in Paris. There is a trolly that can take you up and down the hill to the church at the top. If you are planning on having a picnic here, keep in mind it may be difficult due to the incline.

Such a breath taking building! The town that sounds the Basilique Du Sacre-Coeur is such a chraming town with lots of shops and cafés. There are lot’s of tourist so keep track of your belongings. Scams are also popular in this area so keep an eye out for people trying to sell you things. If you go to the right of the stairs up to the monument there is a red and cream house. This house is called the ‘sinking house’. Definitely stop to take a picture, you have to turn you phone upside down to get the right angle. Definitely recommend checking tho s place out!

A beautiful place to spend some time with your family and friends. This place is very crowded in summer so be advised. You have a lot of other places around and also a cafe and restaurant nearby for you to have a delightful afternoon or morning.

Square Louise Michel - Despite its small size, It offers some stunning views of the city. From the top of the hill, visitors can see the rooftops of Paris, including the iconic Montmartre neighborhood. The park is home to a small sculpture garden featuring works by local artists. Visitors can admire the art while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the park. Square Louise Michel is one of the few parks in Paris that has an outdoor gym, complete with exercise equipment that visitors can use for free. This is a great way to stay active while enjoying the park. it is a relatively unknown park, Square Louise Michel is often less crowded than other popular parks in Paris. This makes it a great spot for visitors who want to get away from the crowds and enjoy a quiet, peaceful oasis in the heart of the city.

Be prepared to do a lot of walking up the stairs...but for those who are unable to, they do have a little lift that can bring you up there. Beautiful building. Very crowded. Well know tourist attractions. The nice thing about it is free to enter.

Nice view of the city and well maintained, picturesque park. Wasn't too busy when we were there, but it was raining so that likely made a difference.

Pretty square with a mesmerizing carousel! There is also a kid’s playground! You can take tram up or get dropped off by car on top. Be aware of some people who try to ask you to wear their bracelet and ask you for money, a bit scary. Good view of the city at peak. Tons of people, don’t get lost lol.

Nice view from the top, it is very nice garden with stairs to Sacre-coeur. Stairs are not so steep. You will not find a ramp to push baby stroller around the stairs.Lots of love locks. It seems love birds are putting locks all over the paris. You could also find some people selling the locks around this place.

I felt very unsafe walking through this park. We were stopped by two men trying to put something around our hands and even grabbed us when we didn't want to stop. There were a few of those groups scattered around the park and I was shocked that there's no police or security at all. I've never felt this unsafe especially when this is supposed to be a tourist spot. When you want to visit the park be safe and careful.

BEWARE of the friendship bracelet scammers. One had the gall to grab me by the arm and I had to push him away. A loud NO and extended hand will keep them away. After that, you should be able to enjoy the rest of Montmartre. Arrive early and beat the crowds

Very touristsy. Tarmced over and impossible to walk across without getting in the way of someone talking a photo. That said, a great view and a good starting point for the neighbourhood.

Scammers, touts, peddlers and thieves mar this otherwise beautiful place. Great views of Paris and the Sacre Coeur. Go early. It gets very crowded in afternoon/evening.

  • 4/5 Ik H. 2 years ago on Google
View is absolutely stunning, especially from sunset to night fall - waiting for the sky to darken and the lights to come on is a treat. Downside being that it is packed with people and smokers all around.

Great wide span view of Paris and when I went there was a harp player right on the steps leading to the basilica…even though it can get a bit crowded there is tons of open space, nice tree and flowers, and of course grounds to have a mini picnic! *Nearest metro line 2 **watch out and be carful for street sellers and pickpockets
