I
visited
Gloria
Maris
Shark's
Fin
restaurant
during
my
stay
in
the
area
and
read
many
great
reviews
about
the
food,
which
is
what
compelled
me
to
visit
this
establishment
for
a
late
lunch.
The
entrance
was
clean
and
well
maintained.
Upon
walking
up
to
the
entrance,
we
were
greeted
by
the
friendly
staff
and
guided
to
our
table.
The
atmosphere
within
the
restaurant
was
quiet
and
relaxed,
as
there
were
only
a
few
customers
dinning
at
time
of
our
arrival.
We
ordered
Beef
Tenderloin,
which
was
smothered
in
a
sweet,
savory,
and
thick
sauce.
The
tenderloin
met
expectations,
as
it
was
well
done,
tender
and
well
seasoned.
As
a
side
dish,
we
ordered
the
seafood
fried
rice,
cucumber
spears
drenched
in
a
sweet
and
spicy
duck
sauce
composed
of
slices
of
ginger,
garlic
cloves,
and
crushed
red
peppers.
We
also
ordered
Beef
with
broccoli,
which
was
made
with
a
light
sauce,
that
did
not
over
power
the
freshly
steamed
broccoli.
I
thought
this
combination
made
the
meal
well
balanced
and
enhanced
our
dinning
experience.
The
prices
were
aligned
for
the
amount
of
food
provided.
Unfortunately,
we
were
rushed
to
make
a
selection
and
could
not
select
other
items
in
the
menu
because
the
restaurant
was
closing;
perhaps
as
a
result
of
another
event.
Although
the
staff
was
friendly,
attentive
and
professional,
we
could
not
fully
enjoy
the
food
and
engage
each
other
in
discussion,
because
the
wait
staff
hovered
over
our
table,
thus
giving
us
limited
amount
of
privacy
and
diminishing
the
value
of
the
overall
dinning
experience
in
this
fine
restaurant.
Nevertheless,
I
recommend
this
Gloria
Maris
for
anyone
visiting
the
area.
