The
definition
of
a
5
star
hotel
includes
"Properties
at
this
level
will
display
excellent
design
quality
and
attention
to
detail".
Not
sure
how
this
hotel
achieves
this.
As
we
stayed
in
an
actual
5-star
hotel
in
a
different
part
of
Thailand
prior
to
coming
here,
the
difference
is
stark.
The
food
is
half
the
quality
and
diversity
(they
use
instant
coffee
at
breakfast
💀).
They
claim
they
have
a
spa
but
the
building
for
this
amenity
seems
abandoned
and
nobody
was
inside.
The
pool
is
dirty
:')
not
as
a
dirty
as
the
ocean
front
in
Pattaya
but
you
get
the
drill.
The
wifi
is
definitely
inadequate
for
the
price
you're
paying
per
room.
I
had
to
work
remotely
during
my
stay
and
needed
to
use
data
with
a
hotspot.
If
you
wanna
scroll
on
Instagram
ig
it's
fine.
But
if
you're
paying
for
a
Suite
it
feels
a
bit
like
a
joke.
We
used
their
laundry
washing
services
and
our
clothes
came
back
bleached
and
shrunk.
One
piece
of
underwear
had
mysterious
spots
on
it.
It's
hard
to
understand
how
they
could
get
this
wrong.
Every
hotel
we
trusted
our
clothes
with
in
Thailand
took
expert
care
of
them.
It's
not
rocket
science.
🥲
Finally,
the
part
everyone
cares
the
most
about-
the
rooms
themselves.
They're
nice,
practical,
accessible
and
quiet,
but
not
luxurious.
If
all
you
care
about
is
a
place
to
crash
then
you
won't
care.
Their
beds
are
comfortable
and
their
sheets
are
pristine
(albeit,
again,
with
mysterious
stains
here
and
there).
If
you
book
on
a
higher
floor
(floor
4
and
up)
you
will
also
enjoy
a
nice
view.
We
primarily
stayed
in
the
room
and
made
use
of
the
somewhat
newer-technology
TVs
for
steaming,
the
jaccuzi
for
relaxing
and
the
desk
for
working.
The
desk
was
a
nice
touch,
as
was
the
"kitchen"
island
at
the
entrance.
I
will
not
recommend
this
hotel
to
anyone
looking
to
book
a
5-star
stay.
Which
begs
the
question
of
who
should
be
booking
it,
since
folk
who
are
backpacking
and
looking
for
a
place
to
crash
have
better,
cheaper
options.
That
being
said...
taking
into
account
what
many
people
come
to
Pattaya
for,
this
hotel
will
continue
to
thrive
off
of
a
very
specific
demographic.
