About four years ago, I had the pleasure of staying at your hotel when it was still new and promising. At that time, I was impressed by the value for money and happily recommended it to my friends. However, I regret to say that my recent stay was a disappointing experience, and I can no longer recommend the hotel. Upon my arrival, my room was far from inviting. The cleanliness left much to be desired, and the air conditioning unit was covered in dust, suggesting it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Consequently, the cooling function was ineffective, and the room's climate was uncomfortable and stuffy. I was shocked and disappointed that a room in a hotel would be handed over to a paying guest in such a condition. When I reported the issue to the staff, they seemed indifferent. I expected at least an apology or a proper resolution, but instead, my complaint was superficially addressed. It was evident that the management showed no interest in improving the situation or caring for guest satisfaction. Given the disappointing experience, I felt compelled to book another hotel on the same day to ensure a pleasant stay in Pattaya. It is truly regrettable that the once promising Red Planet Pattaya has lost its shine and now remains in my memory for negative reasons. As a paying guest, I expect reasonable accommodation and service quality. Unfortunately, I did not experience this during my last visit. I sincerely hope that the management urgently reconsiders how they handle such situations and ensures that room cleanliness and quality are restored so that future guests can have a more enjoyable experience.

Everything was great. Until the day of checking out. I packed my stuff automatically in a hurry, and I left my purse with all my cash inside( there was about 500 dollars) I found it out after when I went to the exchange. I called the reception at 15:44 and asked them to look for it in my room, they searched the room twice and didn't find anything. I saw this purse that morning when I took it from the safe. And I didn't make any stops from the red planet to another hotel. When I called and asked to look for it by myself and asked if the room was cleaned already. the receptionist got emotional and started saying things like "I've already checked it twice there's nothing to check anymore"but answered that I may come and check and that the room was not cleaned. In about 30 minutes I got to the room, and it was already cleaned and there was no purse indeed. I could have packed my things carefully, of course, but I expected more professionalism from the service. I don't want to return to this place anymore. P.S. Just be more careful and always keep your valuables inside the safe.

This place is very convenient. Near to Marina mall, 7/11, coffee shops and near to the beach. The room has a hair blower and a folding table attached to the wall. They also cleaned the room even if we didn’t asked for it. My things were safe and nothing got lost or stolen. Only downside is no refrigerator, no toothpaste and tooth brush, broken soap dispenser, no shower door , no cabinet, no electric kettle, really small space. I booked advanced so it was not that expensive. Overall i still like it but i will try other hotels when i come back to Pattaya.😊

avoid this place. rooms extremely small, but that is not that big of a problem. the problem is the complete lack of functionality of this room ... no kettle, no cups, spoons ... nothing. There are no cabinets or shelves in which you could hide a backpack or a suitcase. No safe. the bathroom takes up the same space as the room, although there is a similar lack of functionality, there are no boxes for cosmetics, soap. Nowhere to put cosmetics, except on the toilet ... I don't know who designed these rooms, But one thing he didn't think about was functionality. it's impossible to live in this place ... of course there are also positives clean linen clean towels comfortable bed and warm water in the shower ... For such condition, this price is not acceptable... If price will be 400 bahts condition od room will be okay, but not for 900 but...

Maybe 5 stars is too much, but it was exactly what I was looking for. A good bed, good shower, good air conditioner, not noisy (for me). I don't think I have ever stayed in a smaller room or paid so little, about 400b, Across the street is a mall, you're on second road so there is nearly free transportation/baht buss. Not much night life nearby, but still close enough. If you can get twin beds the second bed is nice for a table otherwise there is little room with a larger bed.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it, considering the price, convenient location, and quality of the room. Location: the hotel is walking distance to the beach, the rowdy Soi 6, Terminal 21 to the north, and there's a street food market nearby. 7/11 and Central Marina shopping mall across the road as well. A bit of a walk to Walking Street, but you can easily take a truck taxi there. Rooms: my room was on the 7th floor in a corner so it was very quiet and even though there was music outside from a cannabis store, I never had trouble sleeping. The room quality is very fair for the price (under 600 THB per night) with a large and comfortable bed, and seriously the best shower I've had at a hotel. However, the room is quite small with no fridge or freestanding desk (there is a pull out table beside the bed), so for two people it will definitely feel cramped. Amenities: as a budget hotel, there's no gym or pool here, they do have snacks and stuff for sale in the lobby. Staff were kind and friendly, and housekeeping was amazing. Note that the lobby and hallways are not AC'd so it will be hot. For long stay travellers, there is a good laundry service shop on Soi 4, just walk towards the beach from the hotel. Overall Opinion: I loved staying at this hotel as a solo traveller as it was cheap, comfortable, and super convenient. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I visit Pattaya! BEWARE!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! The most regrettable thing during my visit to Thailand was my stay at this Red Planet Pattaya hotel. I understand that it’s a budget hotel, but they don’t even know the basics of hospitality. The rooms are stinky, have ONLY a bed and a towel. The basic amenities like toiletries, use n throw slippers, cups, a telephone to call front desk, water bottle(bare minimum) is not even in their inventory. They aren’t even ready to give any of these on payment basis. Wifi?? It connects at the reception but does not work inside the room. Window AC starts making squeaky sounds in the midnight disturbing your sleep. Ceiling fan same problem. Housekeeping is not available after evening 4 pm. Honestly, It’s better to spend 100-200 THB in other hotels which are available nearby in cheaper rates. Most importantly, when complaining about all this to the staff, they shamelessly say ‘No have’ for everything. I’m sorry to say this but THIS HOTEL IS POORER THAN BEGGARS. And the guest is helpless after having paid for the stay, coz they don’t cancel your booking and give refund. CONS.. I must stay.

Guys this location is great , 2 maybe n walk to shops and restaurant. 6 minutes walk to the Beach Rd. For the price the room is very basic no fridge, so I had to buy ice for my drinks while entraining. No extra frill in this budget room. So only stayed 1 night, but I will return.

Budget hotel. No water, no refrigerator. The room was quite old and small. There was a big fan on ceiling. AC so loud. Recommend to bring your own earplugs and blindfold. But it cheap!

i completely disagree with review below, i fly Pattaya on Sunday & have stayed here mamy times, always clean, 2 sets towels, complimemtary bathroom shampoo etc, has a safe, a fold out desk for laptop, wardrobe etc wish there was a fridge, i think my room didnt have 1, but for the price it is absolutely 'spot on', hence why returned many times there is a statbucks 2 min walk away, a high-end cafe with very nice food connected but not part hotel, overall you get more than what you pay for. Rooms are cleaned daily & is just a few years old so unlikely it stunk, mine never has & am sure can move rooms if a problem, i just think below a hit piece for some reason. I recommend but of course this isn't the Shangri-La ! My opinion only, Daniel

Minimal room in a good location in North Pattaya. Not far from T21 shopping mall, & less than 800 metres to beach. Room with AirCond , TV ( but tv signal is poor) , strong -water-flow Shower, Walk Way is a bit untidy. Good value though.

Personally Won't come back again because of Rain shower bathroom. No complimentary drinking water (when check in late at night I have to go out to buy water!!!), no tissue paper in the room. No cup at lavatory for brushing. Limited parking, clean room. Good location 7-11 is 100 m.

I fixed this review. Next to my room was so rouder after midnight. I hear some sounds drunken people talking and hair dryer sounds like in my room, no have any filters. I called front desk about checking what happen on corridor. It has still sounds on corridor. I just open door to go to front desk but I saw one of Thai young boys and girls group get three rooms, next and oppositeside each others, and opened door and talking, drying hair, and just passing each rooms after midnight. It was looks like domitory in university. I ask to front desk for making quiet but she said "they are guest too. Can't make stop to use dryer at midnight. and cannot show and watch CCTV for checking this issue. You need make an police report first." I'm not talking that they use in their room. They opened every door and make sounds whole corridor after midnight.in university domitori also has a master for keeping the rule. If someone broken the rule, will get charge. Finally, I just change the room but when I check in another staff said today is full booking no have another room but how they make clean room immediately. Staffs are lack of service mind and worst attitude. This is no relation how much is per a night. They have to have warned someone broken the manner in hotel for other guests. I really disappointed from this issue. And today first room doesn't clean up enough. On the table has some stain from a cup and some hair was attached on the wall in shower booth. And the water drain was not working well, shower booth became a swimming pool. Sometimes they didn't refill all in one shampoo or hand wash gel. If someone really want to save money and just sleep a few hours, taking a shower is okay but please pay more and choose another hotel. The first time when I visited, I was satisfied how much I paid it. But it is getting worst. I can’t attach video. many reviews only talk about noise from AC. I have ever use this system before from Western cultures. Yes, it makes sound more than another type but I was acceptable and has a big fan on calling. The room was Small only 14 sq and no have amenities, no have free water bottles, and no have a refrigerator. Only installed soap, all in one shampoo and body wash, and dryer. And has some old smell just once the first time to get in the room. Ah, and has a foldable table was installed on the wall beside of bed but I don't open it. I didn't take time much just wash and sleep alone. It was okay.

Rooms are very small and clean. Everything you need in basics, good shower and bathroom needs. Tv has many channels in many languages. Very good for simple short stays, you can't beat the price vs location

PRO : Red planet Pattaya is a great hotel located near Central Marina mall. Room is not spacious but clean and equipped with Satellite TV & clean bathroom. Staff are polite and eager to assist. During my stay, I need to see doctor as per heavy skin rash from marine water allergy at night, lady night shift staff offered me her own car to let me drive her personal car to the hospital. I really appreciated her kindness& concern.( Finally I got public motorbike from an Transport App.) CON: a little far from Pattaya beach.

Venue for money. Simple and does the job. Central location. The ac gave a loud noise all the time, so I'd u r a light sleeper, that night be a problem. Shower was strong and hot water worked fine. Limited parking, you can park on street side nearby.

The hotel is comfortable. Located in the north of Pattaya Soi 4. Small room. No have drinking water, cattle, toothpaste, toothbrush. Only liquid soap and shampoo. The price was quietly expensive and the facilities was not worth. Will choose another hotel if I go back to Pattaya.

The room was small but clean and well decorated. The staff are really friendly and cooperative. You don't get bottled water in your room, have to take water from lobby. If you need, they give extra pillows. For the money we spent, worth it.

The price is friendly of course the room is small and there is no refrigerator which is a bit disappointing but understandable. The air condition is quite cool which I like very much. The bed is clean and very soft also pillows made me sleep very well. The room is clean. The staff has great service mind.

I have been patronising this no frills hotel since 2018 till today. Stayed 15 times or so throughout the 3 years. Really, there’s nothing fancy about just the comfortable bed and strong rainfall shower. Safety and cleanliness are my primary condition for opting for a hotel. Precisely, say this hotel has it. Thank you to all personnel who served me throughout these years.

Red Planet Pataya, a cost-effective hotel located in the center of Pattaya. Red Planet is the epitome of the Bagit Hotel. It is a hotel that is faithful to the basic functions of the hotel, such as accommodation, with a low cost of hotel.Similar personalities include the Ibis Hotel, which is affiliated with Acor, and the Salil Hotel, a Thai brand. This hotel only receives the actual cost of the hotel, and only provides bedrooms and meals. Currently, the hotel has closed its breakfast restaurant because of the coronavirus. Of course, the hotel room rate went down that much. Currently, the hotel room rate is about 500 to 600 baht per night. In fact, the hotel room rate is at the level of a guest house. Prior to Coronavirus, the popular Sukhumvit Red Planet Hotel and the Pataya North Red Planet Hotel had 1,000 baht per night, while Surawong Red Planet and Phuket Patong Beach Red Planet had 800 baht. Of course, during vacation, vacation, and holiday period, the hotel room rate goes up a little more. Those who have stayed in Red Planet only insist on Red Planet. The reason is the excellent cost-effectiveness of the hotel. The advantages of Red Planet here are location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, service, internet speed, and shower water pressure. Red Planet is located in the center of the region wherever you go in the world. Red Planet Pattaya is located north of Pattaya and across from Central Marina Shopping Mall, the flagship shopping mall and restaurant of Pattaya. There are 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby, so it's convenient to buy drinks and snacks. For those who have stayed at the Red Planet Pattaya, say in unison, "The location is the best." Red Planet Pattaya Hotel life is enjoyable in Koreatown, where about 20 Korean restaurants are concentrated about 300 meters away from the Red Planet Pattaya Hotel, Terminal 21 Pattaya Shopping Mall 400 meters away, numerous massage shops nearby, and exchange stations. The conclusion I got from my two-night experience at Red Planet Pataya is "the best choice for young people who have to save on hotel bills, for single travelers." Red Planet hotel charges are similar to Pataya's good guest house rates. Considering bed cleanliness, room, auxiliary facilities, corridor cleanliness, noise interconnection between rooms, etc., it is incomparably superior to guest houses. Compared to the condo experience in the center of Pattaya through the hotel reservation site in the past, the condominium may be wider and the kitchen may be convenient, but there is a huge difference in cleanliness, so I recommend Red Planet Pattaya here. These days, condominiums on the hotel reservation site are not recommended. Condo's bed, especially bedding, is filthy. Kitchen, sofa, etc. are dirty, too. The photos and explanations of these hotel reservation sites are very different from the facts. The Red Planet Pattaya is superior to the pataya guest house and condominiums in Internet service, location, and cleanliness. Aside from the fact that the room is small between 14 and 18sqm, it is hard to find a disadvantage. Guest houses have a lot of problems with noise and cleanliness, condominiums are inconvenient because there are no staff, cleanliness and Internet problems. There are stains all over the bedroom and living room floor, and when you open the closet and kitchen furniture drawer, it smells strange. Red Planet Pataya is satisfied with location, staff attitude , Internet service, cleanliness, and shower water pressure.

While Pattaya is close to dead with almost zero tourists, the room rate is excellent, 21 days for just over 6k baht. Month long stay is only 9k baht.
