3 Star Off Walking Street in Little India Pros: Close to Walking Street, Value, Cleanliness, WiFi Cons: Close to Walking Street, Dining, Maintenance Solo Pleasure Traveler, First-time Guest, One week stay I researched and found the Grand Hotel as a recommended place to stay. But realized I may have made a mistake when the taxi driver kept asking why I was staying in Little India?" The location is right off of Walking Street. Which is convenient, but I could hear the music and street traffic. Also, I have to say, it’d been 25 years since visiting Pattaya; and had I known how it “changed,” I would have booked elsewhere in Pattaya. I booked through agoda and got a great price. And for the price, it was a great value. The room is modern, maintained, and clean. The flooring is finished concrete, which works well. And the WiFi was always five bars and never faltered. I will note housekeeping did a fantastic job of the rooms. Large screenTV, large safe, and large fridge all came with the room. As I said, since your close to the action, expect residual ambient noise from Walking Street. Sadly, the in-house restaurant had not yet reopened; which after reading past reviews, I was really looking forward to it. Lastly, many of the photos of the common areas are dated. Although the room was great, the common areas all looked dingy and neglected. If you are looking to stay close to the tourist area of Walking Street, I highly suggest the Grand Hotel. But if you want Pattaya of yesteryear, book around Soi 6, 7, and 8 area. Note: If you take the Roong Reuang Bus from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Pattaya (143 baht), please have the hotel’s location in Google Maps. Because the Hotel is wedged in a tiny alley within Little India. If I didn’t have the map, the driver would not have known where to go. Expect to pay around 200 baht for the taxi from the south terminal to Grand Hotel.

Second stay at same hotel. Very good location. In Walking street but in a side alley. Can be noisy but not so loud. Hotel breakfast is standard fare. Set options of Thai or English. Same stuff daily, so would get bored after 2 days. Rooms are spacious and most rooms have balcony. Mini bar, coffee, locker etc available in room. Stayed in 409. Housekeeping is good. Guests are allowed for free. Front desk, not so friendly though. They don't even bother to greet you even if you greet them first. in house restaurant expensive for the quality & quantity. It closes by 2/3pm. Many food stalls available after 6pm, mostly catering to the working ladies there. Not expensive, had good tasty satay and shrimp fried rice. For the deal I got online, worth stay, if you want to stay closer to action.

Perfect location for the people who wants party all night at walking street. Breakfast is too good with lots of options. The rooms are clean and big enough with comfortable bed. Staff if very friendly and helpful. The only negative point is that hotel need some renovation in rooms because some facilities are too old now. But overall it's good place to stay.

Recommend you room number 601. You get a great view of the Sea and the city skyline as well. They have pretty helpful staffs including receptionists and the house maintenance team. Although they have a vending machine and everything is overpriced here. It's located at the starting of the Walking Street but all the good clubs, bars and strip clubs are at just 3-5 mins walk and 5 mins walk to 7 Eleven.

You want location? You basically stumble on walking street. Warning: lucky I used door latch as I awoke to find door been opened. Hotel staff were unconcerned. If a westerner, exercise extreme caution.

It's nice hotel to stay and it's very near to walking street road. Rooms are very clean and neat. They clean rooms daily. Enjoyed stay here. Location is awesome. The lift is very old one and lift sensors are not working properly, be careful using lift.

I had an issue with water and ice cubes. I needed to ask cleaning crew 3x a day for toilet pump. Kids made joke to prepare myself next time and bring one in my luggage. Breakfast was amazing. It was in 2019 but still I dream about your city at night. Thank you.

Overall it's a good hotel for doing entertainment in the walking street at pattaya. This is a guest friendly hotel, so you can come along with any person from Walking street. No breakfast system availabile here but rest all available. Just book now if available then stay and comment on the results.

Stayed here from 23DEC2022 to 26DEC2022, it's a great place and guest friendly along with no additional cost. Less than 100m walk to the walking street, what else you want if you are looking to explore and have some great time with your friends. There are local restaurants as well, offering great food example at Marine Seafood pattaya which we discovered by just walking through the bars in the walking street. Rooms are neat and clean. Place for smoking in the balcony, whatelse you want? There is more to tell, message me if you need any info

===28/09/2023=== The hotel room are clean and looks recently renovated. The passengers lift are run down though. Due to hotel proximity to walking street, you may not get a good night sleep especially if you are light sleeper. The room doors are using old door knob with keys and with a latch with in my opinion is not really secured.

The restaurant are closed and roof top are closed. Room only, but the view from room is good. Clean room. Old but clean. Not noisy at night

Always stay here .this time, it was a little outdated but still very convenient to nightlife . They should repair the walls and need new paint .also if they would've open restaurant that be grand. Somehow no breakfast included

Came here for the weekend, it's great if you want a location nearby the party locations, however you can hear the loud noises from the walking street late at night.

Rooms were very bad smoking smell in the room. They put 1000 baht deposit and charge me 200 baht while checking out for no reason

Rooftop garden & Netflix added to good value & location -- the laundry across the alley is a find too. No meals thanks to covid that's left Pattaya a ghost town, but beach is close by.

Great location! Right by walking street in Pattaya, but rooms are high up enough that you don't hear the noise and can sleep peacefully. Elevator is small, there's a 24/7 receptionist, and certain rooms come with a view. The AC is difficult to work, the late night receptionist can barely do much in accommodations of extending rooms, and there isn't AC in the building besides the rooms. A lot of different restaurants around here (Indian, turkish, thai, etc) and cheap hotel stays ranging from $17-$28 a night

Rooms are big, clean and neat with equally maintained bathroom and toilet. They do not have any room service but the location and cleanliness in the lobby and hotel is maintained... It is a good place to stay and is very close to the beach and most of the activities in Pattaya.
