Okay hear me out, this gym slacks in so many aspects; bathrooms are dirty, there is only two weight cages, one leg press, the stair-masters are rusty and there’s lack of benches. However, it works for me and my schedule. I live in West pembroke pines and lately I have not been able to even start a work out over there of how full it is at all times of the day. Meanwhile, after a 15 minute drive I am greeted by a nice, friendly staff, I’m actually able to work out without worrying about people stepping on me or waiting for machines.

Oh and last a couple of front desk employees are NOT nice at all not all but most are not!!!! Good luck with this location crunch. The owners replies are total BS and he doesn’t do anything or care! *changes needed ASAP

Great gym, I signed up for the Cross functional training zone and the 2 Olympic platforms. There's a ton of barbells around for all your training. The fitness classes are great - from HIIT, yoga, TRX, to dance-like Zumba classes. The staff and members are friendly and helpful. A nice fitness community!

I started this gym about 2 years ago, what attracted me was it was relatively new and empty which I liked and was the main reason for joining. I wake up for work at 6am so gym in the mornings is not an option, recently I’ve tried going from 6-9pm during the week (they close at 11) and the place is a jungle, people everywhere , multiple classes going on , just pure chaos… like most gyms, they over advertise with limited space, like a ratchet planet fitness with more weights. Besides that, after looking at google review reply’s , they are clearly immature and don’t value their customers even going to the length to tell paying customers to stop crying like a baby. Last but not least they advertise a “10$ monthly “ to join but it’s 15… 5$ doesn’t bother me, the dishonesty does. Do better.

I recently signed up back On August 1st with a promotion that included the first month free. For personal reasons (including moving out unexpectedly), I needed to cancel 2 weeks after I signed up. I called the gym, and I was advised to either come into the gym or email the manager to request a cancellation. I emailed the manager on August 20, surprisingly, never got a response. After 11 days without getting a response and my bank account being charged, I had to drive to the gym. When I got there, I explained to the employee my situation, and she told me because of the Florida State laws, I will be charged the first month of service plus $53.45 of annual fee (about $81 total), although I am cancelling 2 weeks after I signed and although I got the first month free. Not only I am going to be charged for all these fees, but it was very unprofessional that no one or the MANAGER even replied to my email. It clearly shows that they make this in purpose for the customers to keep getting charged. IT IS A RIP OFF. I would never recommend this Gym or Crunch Fitness to nobody. BTW, I am specifically talking about the Pembroke Pines location.

hate to go full Karen but I’ve reached my breaking point. this is definitely one of the worst gyms I’ve been to. it’s incredibly small and not only is the amount of equipment inadequate, their selection of it is astonishingly horrible. the air conditioning is so bad, it should be considered a human rights violation. you have to sign out barbell clips from the front desk(????) i guess that’s more reflective of the character of the clientele that goes here since apparently they steal clips that they don’t even have use for outside the gym..??? and the other pines location has been under construction for ages and since i moved cities, they are not letting me cancel my membership since it’s “not my original crunch” and no one answers their corporate number. no harsh feelings towards the staff though, i’m sure they wanna be there just as little as i do. amped fitness is pretty mid tier, but far better than this crunch AND it’s cheaper. even YouFit is better

Deciding if I should cancel my membership…. I’ve been at this gym for over two years and had no issues but recently within the last month a lot of things has been an issue. Myself and other members who come to the gym at 5 am are disappointed and frustrated because no one is opening on time. I’always wait 15 minutes in my car before I leave to wait for someone to open the facility and literally they come over 45 mins- a hour late. This probably happens once a week. Most members come there at that time to get a decent work out before work and it does throw a lot of people off and leave. Also, lately I’ve been realizing there has been a lack of supply for paper towels and over loaded trash bins in the morning to the point I have to bring my own wipes to sanitize the equipment. Management has to do better and hold their staff accountable. At least have 2-3 people open in the morning just in case if one staff member is late or absent.

I was expecting more, I went at 5pm - crowded as it can be, tried at 9pm crowded but manageable. I have been in other Crunch gyms and the set up is super friendly and the machines have a better set up. They also don’t have the assisted lifting machine, which I need to use. Not impressed.

I have never had so many issues with a gym before. Do not sign up for their personal training. It is such a rip off and you have 10 days to cancel before they recharge or they refuse to refund you your money. There is a $10 fee to cancel your gym membership and extra even for only being a member 1 month. Read the fine print.

As a Crunch peak result member, from Orlando, I stopped in for a workout and decided to bring a local guest. They told me there was a new policy that didn't allow me to bring in a guest for free and that I would have to pay $10. I asked if they could make an exception or give him a free workout, since it was supposedly a new policy I wasn't aware of and my friend wanted to check out the location. ( I always brag about Crunch to my friends). They told me they couldn't make an exception. Then, their CC system wasn't working and kept rejecting the card. You would think, since this was already kinda awkward and they were having trouble charging, they would just let it slide. It was like 9:30am on a Monday and the gym wasn't really busy. But Nope. They made us wait there and kept messing with it and finally charged me the $10 dollars. Pretty embarrassing for me, trying to bring someone that could have been a potential new member, and a workout bud when I'm in town, but thats pretty much ruined now. Overall, it's small, compared to other locations Ive visited, but seems to have a little bit of everything. Gave it a 3, mostly for size, cleanliness and customer service.

Small gym for a good neighborhood. Cutler Bay location was more spacious even in peak hours. They just placed this gym to have another location rather than keep up space and customer satisfaction with gym space. I go 30 min after opening so at least I get some space to work out. Other times I tried you can barely do a dumbbell lateral raise without bumping into someone. Sign up policy crazy. Their pick up line is you don't need to pay anything on sign up. You pay prorated monthly rate. Can't leave until you have done three months but you get charged the annual fee on the second month of signing. So basically they collect their annual fee either way and their 3 months is therefore not a trial time. They spam your phone with calls to do their trainer class upon sign up. Serves it's purpose if you have the patience to go and wait a while to get the work out you planned for. Otherwise plan a secondary work out coz you most likely won't have the equipment free when you go in. Crowd is fine but no etiquette to put weights back or cleaning equipment after use but that's not the gyms fault. Love you crunch but this location should have been bigger. This crunch puts a crunch in your hard earned lunch!

I made the plan without knowing that the gym was still not working, because it didn't say anything on the website, I tried to cancel and I thought it was, but when the gym opened they charged my card 60 dollars, and the plan was 10 per month, and to cancel they still wanted to charge me another 40 dollars. I don't recommend it, there's no transparency with your students and it's impossible to cancel without being in person, that is, if you move far away you can't cancel. No transparency, deceiving your customers.

It’s month to month after a 90 day commitment and fees. Make sure that’s noted in event you have to cancel, do it within the 3 day grace period after sign up. Aside from that, not my first pick in the area but does what it needs to do. Lack of understanding to my cancelation reason has deterred me from signing back up once I get back home.

Worst experience on a crunch location, this is the only location that charges you to bring a guest with you peak membership lol one star is too high. Update: after the response from the owner, I would like to clarify that I was told by the rep at the front desk that this was a policy implemented by the franchise owner. I have been at this location a few times and brought a guest every single time without an issue. I doubt that this makes a good impression to potential new members that are visiting with a member but appreciate the explanation, my review and experience this time is definitely a less than one star. I’m not the first to leave a similar review. Again, I appreciate the clarification and wish you the best of lucks!

I really like Crunch as a whole. The staff is friendly and welcoming. This location is more like Crunch Jr because it’s small and doesn’t have a lot of the equipment that other Crunch’s have in South Florida. There are only pockets of windows to get a good lift without the gym being crowded cause of the space, the new trainers just standing there staring (I’m assuming looking for new clients so I respect the hustle it just feels creepy) or the music blaring from the hit zone. Basically with this Crunch you get what you pay for. 🤷🏾‍♂️

My son spoke with Alex Joyce regarding a marketing campaign and he took his credit card over the phone and proceeded to charge it for $162.70 on 11/9/23. You told him we just need $5.00 to get started. Unfortunately, my son was naïve in giving you his credit card number. He did not sign up or complete the paperwork for this campaign. Once he received the paperwork he saw that it was not for him and did not fill out anything. He explained to you that he did not know 5 people to give memberships to. This is why he never completed the paperwork or signed up for this program. He is a one-man band mobile detailer trying to get his business off the ground so the fact that you charged his card without any contract is disturbing and fraudulent. It caused his checking account to be overdrawn costing him an overdraft fee as well. He is now receiving harassing phone calls saying that he owes $340.40 when he did NOT sign up for anything, He has called you several times and called the West Pines gym only to be given the runaround and put on hold and left hanging for a response or someone to resolve this issue. A $162.70 refund needs to be issued and the collection calls for 5 corporate memberships need to stop as these memberships were never signed up for. Alex's response: Thank you for your email and I apologize for the delayed response. I understand your frustration but when I talked to Chris on the phone the day he signed up, he knew exactly what came with this program. I went over every single detail of how we would promote his business and what the commitment would be, I even gave him a promotion to sign up to help him save money which he was very quick to jump on. I also sent him an email on 10/6 with full details of the program which I have attached. He agreed, committed to it, gave me his card information, and I remember he was really excited to start the program. I also sent over his welcome email after he committed to the partnership and never received a response regarding him wanting to cancel. The commitment is 90 days as I discussed with him a few times and is even in the email I sent him that is attached. I have also included my manager Mari, please let us know if you have any further questions! We never received the refund and his manager Mari never answered the emails. BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH CRUNCH FITNESS! THEY JUST WANT YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER SO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU FOR SERVICES THAT WERE NEVER SIGNED UP FOR OR RENDERED.

Crunch Fitness Pembroke Pines exceeded all my expectations, thanks in large part to Ari at the front desk. Her exceptional customer service skills, coupled with a genuine willingness to assist, made my gym experience truly remarkable. Ari's treatment of military personnel reflects a commendable level of respect and gratitude. Beyond her friendly demeanor, Ari diligently ensures the facility remains spotless and clean, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. The commitment to cleanliness and the exceptional service provided by Ari make Crunch Fitness Pembroke Pines stand out as a top-notch fitness center. I wholeheartedly recommend new military members to the area, seeking a positive and well-maintained gym experience.

I have been a member of this location for 4 months leading up to today; I had an awful encounter with the owner, Rubin. I went to the room where classes are normally held which I usually use to warm up and cool down. I had the lights on, and the owner comes in and turns them off while I along with other people are in there. I approach him about that and he tells me this room is only for classes, the disrespect. When I first joined this location back in July, I was directed to this room when I asked where I could warm up and now fast forward to now the owner expects people to exercise in the dark outside of class time. This is a privately owned location, and other CRUNCH locations do not operate like this. I was happy at this location up until my experience with the owner. They also charge a cancellation fee, which is ridiculous. I will NEVER come back to this location and will join a different location that is not petty and frugal like this one.

I have been in many gyms and for me its more important how I feel ,the environment, culture ect than been in the “Fancy Brand new gym “ and you can tell a huge difference when I happen to go to a different gym for any Reason . The culture here ,the dedication of the Trainers, they are really knowledgeable . Its honesty the place you feel Home ,you find encouragement. That energy you need when you are not in the mood to workout. The staff its really friendly and always wanted to help ,all with respect I will never forget how I get here ,not my best moment in life ,I had gained 35 pounds ,I was about to cancel after I started for 3 days I was not very motivated and Stephanie the GM greet me that day with this smile ask me why I was going to cancel and just the way she treated me and speak from the Heart to me motivated me so much 🥹 I don’t know how to explain it I just knew this was the place and right moment I start personal training with Katherine my fav all times 🤪🫶 although all of the trainers are truly amazing ,she and Step the G M have been a huge help for me personally.I love them so much (It feels I know them for years lol ,Every time I started to accomplish goals my first -5 pounds, my -10 pounds victory its like they were so genuine happy like it was their own goal and that gained my heart. I am really grateful that one Day I happen to come to this gym honestly super down ,discouraged and find not only results but amazing friendship and a Family. Side Note : Already loose the 35 pounds going for other goals now .Thank u for everything you do pembroke pines so we can feel this way .When you do things with the heart this is what happens 🫶 (Also there is tons of weights, organized, cleaned) And the Hiit classes are so amazing 🤩

Overall a solid gym with everything you need to get a good workout. Not the widest selection of machines, but plenty of dumbbells and barbells to compensate for it and there is a good variety of cardio equipment. Staff is friendly and will usually greet and say goodbye on your way out. You get a lot of value for the price of membership which is very inexpensive in comparison to other nearby gyms. **Updated my rating since receiving a reply on my original review. I did cancel my membership after 3 years and joined another gym as a result** _________________________ Water dispensed from the their drinking fountain at 93.9 degrees. I have brought to attention of several staff members, Crunch website, Instagram and now on Google. I have requested to be contacted on Crunch’s website and on surveys. No one has contacted me. The reason provided for hot water…”We have to pick between hot water in the shower or cold drinking water” I’ll adjust my rating once you fix the issue.

The place is clean. Staff is professional and frsiendly. Crowd is okay during evening. Around 6PM, the group classes have too many people but the 7PM classes are not crowded at all. To me, the volume in the Zumba class is way too loud in that closed space. They have a variety of services and I will definitely recommend this gym.

Just moved to Pines from Tamarac and decided to try out this Crunch, since I already had a membership. Before getting into this, please note that I do think this is a great beginner gym and should definitely be checked out if you are just getting into fitness! Pros: -Very nice staff -Very clean facilities -Great beginner gym Cons: -Very small gym -Not enough equipment to go around during busy periods -If a machine is broken, there are no replacements since there is only one of each machine for the most part (there were about 2 or 3 machines broken when I went) -Insanely hot on the inside (When I left, it was about 75 degrees outside and it felt cold compared to the temperature inside the gym) -Not great for advanced lifters who need some of the machines that isolate muscle groups more (bigger Crunches have these) All in all, I think I was spoiled by how big the Tamarac Crunch is, so I was disappointed by this location. I will probably just wait until the Crunch in West Pines opens up this summer and stick to a different gym until then.

Well, it seems that I am still a member of your deplorable organization, and my rating is accurate as I still receive calls and emails from your scam, although I paid for a cancellation. Oddly, you are commenting here, as I never even heard of you nor know your name. The only thing you seem to worry about is your reviews, then.

This place is awesome! My home gym is in Bonita Springs and I came here for vacation, the staff was so helpful! They guided me on what to do since I did not have my keycard. They even went above and beyond by allowing me to charge my phone in their station. Great location, highly recommended!

In this age of cynicism I lost something of value at this gym, and to my surprise; someone turned it into Lost and Found. Proving definitively that there are good people here. I wholeheartedly have to recommend this gym. I even put the membership on hold and joined and tried LA Fitness in Pembroke Pines on Flamingo and Sheridan for two months. It cost more, was dirtier, busier, and the management was nasty. It was not a better experience. Maybe LA Fitness Hollywood would be good. That one has a way better vibe than Pembroke Pines but Crunch Rocks.

As a first timer at the gym choosing Crunch Fitness has been one of the best decisions I've made. On my first day I met Joey, I told him that it was my first time being at a gym. Joey has been incredible in helping me, by guiding and teaching me about the use of the machines. I feel motivated everyday thanks to Joey.

Most important thing about the Pines location the gym is always clean. They have all the machines and weights you need to work out. If you need a trainer see Mr Columbo he the head of the trainers at Crunch, and he find you the right one. Speaking of trainers non better than Brendan!

Staff is fantastic shout out to Stephen, Sofia, and Gian Carlos. Friendly and helpful they. Great to see a smiling person these days. Classes are fantastic shout out to Javier, Betza, Claudia and Blaze. They are fierce, classes are challenging and always fun. I’ve had a fantastic time joining their classes and they definitely help make you feel included. Points off for bathrooms, toilets clog pretty regularly, they could use a more consistent cleaning routine and there is no sauna which is a HUGE bummer when other locations have them. Anyway the instructors are definitely the star of this show.

This was one of my first visits to Crunch Fitness and I was thoroughly impressed with everything about my experience. There were three things that stood out in this visit, however; the variety of equipment, the range of weight, and the personable staff. I often travel and want to continue my workout routine wherever I go, but that usually requires equipment that ranges from landmines to assisted rows. Crunch was able to keep up with my equipment needs and even had a bredth of weights that suited my strength level. I was never left needing anything except a spotter while I was there. And I'm sure if I did, a crunch fitness rep would come rushing over to help. The staff took the idea of pushing people to reach their goals to heart. They had suggestions and best practice for ever level of Fitness guest. And I never felt like I was being sold o. The gym. I genuinely felt seen and accommodated thro8ghout my time. I cant recommend Crunch enough. Traveling for the holidays from Texas, I thought I would have trouble getting my workout in, but it was like I never left home!

    Seems like a cool place however definitely don’t recommend for teens (16-17) really looking for a gym over the summer.To get away from home or be away from parents or whatever. it requires parental intervention (unlike some straight forward gyms which allow teens to workout without much resistance, i.e Planet fitness, 24 hour fitness, La fitness and more) and it sucks even more when a gym is practically home for some but just beware fellow young gym rats );

I really loved this place, cozy and friendly until you need to review or cancel your subscription. Poor communication, misinformation, additional fees for any change you want to make, and it's impossible get a fast and reliable solution. I'm not gonna say don't go there, I just advise you, reed everything, ask for copy of your signed documents, and keep it simple. If you need an answer forget it, Managers are always in a meeting. UPDATE: They are very good answering back through here but not the same way when you call or send an email. Make yourself a favor and go to another gym. And for your Information Community Manager, Stephanie Nieves haven't talked to me in person neither phone, just one scripted email. Thanks.

Honestly, I love the atmosphere of this gym and the staff is great Girls at front desk are amazing but I give it a 3 star rating because of some of the rules. What gym doesn’t allow members to bring gym bags to workout and hold all necessary equipment but the staff have bags all over the floor. Not to mention, i wouldn’t be upset about gym bag rule if it wasn’t for staff member stealing my equipment when they removed my belongings from the locker for keeping it overnight. Only half of my stuff showed up in their office the next day. Asked multiple times for contact from a manager and never heard anything. It is what it is, a $20 gym. Still love it here though and would recommend to anyone looking for a budget gym. UPDATE: my issue is regarding a past manager not the current. Stephanie (current GM) is amazing and knows how to run the gym. This is more just a piece of advice to watch your stuff and do not leave items in locker overnight. There is a sign saying so however I was mislead by an employee who told me it was ok.

Zero stars - I was at this gym since pretty much the beginning. The owner + gm don't care about the location what so ever. I've reached out to corporate on social media and have gotten zero responses. They were asking customers to leave a google review here it is! ~Gym is absolutely disgusting right now. The cleaning lady doesn't clean the gym. The previous cleaning lady did. There are machines that have broken padding for going on SIX MONTHS now. I've pointed this out to the owner + management and nothing gets done. I'd suggest a completely different gym. Maybe the west pines version is cleaner. But this location is absolute garbage. I suggest not working out here. I use to clean the gym every night before i would leave to help the staff and try to set a better standard for other gym users. Only few staff truly appreciated me doing so. They seem to be worried about the amount of members they have instead of taking the membership fees and maintenance fees they take from their guests and putting it to actual use. Seems like a breach of contract to me. I sadly had to end my membership there as it was no longer helping with my depression but making it worse. #DoBetter </3 Ruben is a horrible owner only worried about the money he can get off memberships and doesn't put the money back into the gym. Carlos is the worst GM I've ever dealt with in my 23 years of going to other gyms like La Fitness, 24hr Fitness, YouFit, and Crunch. I can see why they lost so many members to Amped Fitness when they opened up. :)

I love this place, the people are very nice, the Zumba class and the Hit classes are a success! It's been a long time since I found a place where I felt at home and made me want to train, I've been there for 6 months and I highly recommend it to everyone!!

😠 Not the best LA Fitness I've been too.. front desk could care less if you come in or out or who you bring... usually not very clean and there's always weights all over the gym scattered, they should really enforce people who use free weights to put them back. If one of your machines are broken it'll...
